1 Kaimouh teh Cathut hoi thaw ka tawk e lah ka o a awh dawkvah, Cathut e lungpatawnae aphu kaawm hoeh lah na o sak awh hoeh nahanlah na thaisak awh.
As co-workers, however, we also beseech, that, not in vain, the favour of God, ye welcome;
2 Bangkongtetpawiteh, kai ka ngainae tueng dawkvah, na lawk na thai pouh toe. Rungngangnae hnin nah na kabawp teh na rungngang toe telah Bawipa ni ati. Khenhaw! atu doeh ngai kaawm e tueng toe. Atu raw doeh rungngangnae hnin toe.
For he saith—In an approved season, have I hearkened unto thee, and, in a day of salvation, have succoured thee; —Lo! now, a well-approved season, Lo! now, a day of salvation:
3 Kaimouh ni a thaw tawknae koe ayâ ni a toun hoeh nahan, ayânaw koe tarawknae ka sak awh hoeh.
Giving, no single, occasion of stumbling, in anything, that the ministry be not blamed;
4 Rektapnae, roedengnae, hlout thai hoeh e runae hoi kâhmonae,
But, in everything, commending ourselves as God’s ministers, —in much endurance, in tribulations, in necessities, in straits,
5 hemnae, thongim bonae, ruengruengtinae, yonpennae, ihmuhnapahlanae, kahaionae,
in stripes, in imprisonments, in tumults, in toilings, in watchings, in fastings,
6 lungthoungnae, lungangnae, lungsawnae, hawinae, Kathoung Muitha coenae, kâsak laipalah atangcalah lungpatawnae,
in sanctity, in knowledge, in long-suffering, in graciousness, in Holy Spirit,
7 Lawkkatang pâphonae, Cathut e bahu kamnue saknae, lannae puengcang avoilah aranglah kâmahrawknae,
in love unfeigned, in discourse of truth, in power of God; through the weapons of righteousness on the right hand and left,
8 barinae hoi barihoehnae, oupnae hoi pathoenae, dumyen e patetlah kaawm ei nakunghai hmantang e tami,
through glory and dishonour, through bad report and good report; as deceivers, and yet true,
9 Apinihai panue hoeh e patetlah kaawm ei nakunghai min kamthang e tami, thei e patetlah kaawm ei nakunghai kahring e tami, yue e patetlah kaawm ei nakunghai theinae hoi kahlout e tami,
as unknown, and yet well-known, as dying, and lo! we live, as disciplined, and yet not put to death,

as grieving, yet, ever, rejoicing, as destitute, yet making, many, rich, as holding, nothing, and yet firmly holding, all things.
11 Kawrin kho kaawm e hmaunawnghanaw kaimae pahni teh nangmouh hanlah a kamawng toe. Kaimae lungthin hai sut a kamawng toe.
Our mouth, is opened unto you, O Corinthians! our heart, hath become enlarged:
12 Kaimouh dawk na khawk awh hoeh. Nangmae lung dawk doeh na khawk awh.
Ye are not straitened in us, but are straitened in your hearts’ affections;
13 Hatdawkvah na pathungnae lahoi nangmae lungthin ka kaw lah paawng awh, telah ka canaw koe lawk ka dei pouh e patetlah na dei pouh.
Howbeit, by way of the like recompense—as, unto children, I speak, be enlarged, even, ye.
14 Kayuemhoehnaw hoi cungtalah kânging hoeh e yawcu hrawm awh hanh. Lannae hoi kamsoumhoehe hah bangtelamaw a hmawng thai han vaw. Angnae teh hmonae hoi bangtelamaw reirei ao thai han vaw.
Be not getting diversely yoked with unbelievers; for what partnership have righteousness and lawlessness? Or what fellowship hath light with darkness?
15 Khrih hoi Belial teh bangtelamaw lungkânging thai han vaw. Kayuem hoi ka yuem hoeh ni bangmaw cungtalah a coe han vaw.
And what concord hath Christ with Beliar? Or what part hath a believer with an unbeliever?
16 Cathut bawkim hoi meikaphawknaw teh bangtelamaw khuet a kâkuet han vaw. Cathut ni a dei e teh ahnimouh koe ka o han. Ahnimae Cathut lah ka o han. Ahnimouh hai kaie tami lah ao a han ati e patetlah nangmouh teh kahring Cathut e bawkim lah na o awh.
And what agreement hath a shrine of God with idols? For, we, are [the] shrine of a God, that liveth: —even as God hath said—will dwell in them, and walk, and will be their God, and, they, shall be my people.
17 Hatdawkvah ahnimouh thung hoi tâcawt awh nateh, aloukcalah awm awh, telah Cathut ni ati. Ka khin e hnonaw hah na kut hoi boehai tek awh hanh. Hottelah na tetpawiteh nangmouh kai ni na dâw awh han.
Wherefore come ye forth out of their midst, and be separated, —saith [the] Lord, —and, one impure, do not touch; and, I, will give you welcome,
18 Kai teh nangmae Pa lah ka o vaiteh, nangmouh hai Kaie canu capa lah na o awh han telah Athakasaipoung e Bawipa ni ati.
And will become your Father, and, ye, shall become my sons and daughters, saith [the] Lord Almighty.
