1 Hottelah dei awh navah, mahoima kâphokâlennae lah maw o awh han. Hettelah nahoeh pawiteh, maimouh ni alouknaw patetlah ayâ ni lungkuepkhai e, nahoeh pawiteh, nangmouh ni lungkuepkhai e ca hah a panki maw.
Are we to begin again, ourselves, to commend? or have we need, like some, of commendatory letters unto you, or from you?
2 Nangmouh teh kaimae lungthung thut lah kaawm e, tamipueng ni a touk awh teh a panue awh e, kaimae ca lah na o awh.
Our letter, ye, are, inscribed in our hearts, noted and read by all men:
3 Nangmouh teh kaimouh ni thut lah kaawm e Khrih e ca lah na o awh tie hah a kamnue. Hote ca teh cahang hoi thut e nahoeh, kahring e Cathut e Muitha lahoi thut lah ao teh, lungphen dawk laipalah, tami e lungthin dawkvah thut e lah ao.
Manifesting yourselves that ye are a letter of Christ, ministered by us, —inscribed—not with ink, but with [the] Spirit of a Living God, not in tablets of stone, but in tablets [which are] hearts of flesh.
4 Maimouh ni Cathut hmalah Khrih kecu dawk hoi hot patetlah e yuemnae teh tawn awh.
But, such confidence as this, have we, through the Christ, towards God.
5 Hatnavah, maimouh teh mae bahu lahoi ma ngainae patetlah hno buetbuet touh pouk teh sak thai e nahoeh. Cathut kâuep laihoi sak thai e doeh.
Not that, of our own selves, sufficient, are we, to reckon anything as of ourselves, but, our sufficiency, is of God; —
6 Cathut ni maimouh hanlah lawkkam katha e thaw tawk sak thai nahanlah thaonae na poe. Hote lawkkam katha teh thut e kâlawk nahoeh, Muitha hah doeh. Thut e kâlawk ni teh duenae a tâcokhai. Hatei, Muitha ni teh hringnae a thokhai.
Who also hath made us sufficient to be ministers of a new covenant—not of letter, but of spirit, for, the letter, killeth, whereas, the Spirit, maketh alive.
7 Lungphen dawk thut e duenae hoi kâkuen e kâlawk patenghai yah, bawilennae hoi a tho teh, Mosi e minhmai dawk hoi ka tâcawt e kahmatthaie bawilennae dawkvah Isarelnaw ni ahnie minhmai hah khen thai awh hoeh pawiteh,
But, if, the ministry of death, in letters engraven in stones, was brought into existence with glory, so that the sons of Israel could not look steadfastly into the face of Moses, by reason of the glory of his face—which [glory] was to be done away,
8 Muitha thawtawknae teh banghloine bawilennae hoi hoe a kawi han.
How shall not, rather, the ministry of the Spirit, be with glory?
9 Hatdawkvah, yonphukhangnae dawk patenghai bawilennae awm pawiteh, lannae thaw dawk hane natawng teh banghloimaw hoe bawilennae ao han.
For, if, the ministry of condemnation was glory, much rather, doth the ministry of righteousness abound with glory,
10 Atanglah, yampa kaawm e bawilennae hah atu e bawilennae ni bang hoeh lah a coung sak.
For that which hath been made glorious, hath not even been made glorious, in this respect, —by reason of the surpassing glory.
11 Dongdeng hane dawk patenghai bawilennae awm pawiteh, a yungyoe han dawk natawng teh hoe ao han.
For, if that which was to be done away [was brought in] with glory, much more, that which is to abide, is in glory.
12 Maimouh teh hete ngaihawinae ao dawkvah, taranhawinae hoi tawk awh.
Having, then, such hope as this, great openness of speech, do we use; —
13 Mosi ni angnae a roum hnukkhu, Isarelnaw ni ka minhmai khen langvaih ati teh lukkarei hoi a minhmai a ramuk e patetlah maimouh teh awm awh hoeh.
And are not just like Moses, [who] kept putting a veil upon his face, so that the sons of Israel should not look steadily unto the end of that which was to be done away.
14 Ahnimae a lungthin teh puenghoi a pata dawkvah sahnin totouh lawkkam karuem touk awh navah, hote lukkarei teh pou a ramuk lah ao awh. Bangkongtetpawiteh, Khrih lahoi dueng doeh hote lukkarei teh takhoe thai.
But their thoughts were turned into stone: for, until this very day, the same veil, upon the reading of the old covenant, abideth, not to be removed, because, in Christ, it is to be done away;
15 Sahnin totouh Mosi e Cakathoung a touk awh navah ahnimae lungthin teh hote minhmai huemnae lukkarei ni a ramuk pouh rah.
But, until this day, whensoever Moses is read, a veil upon their heart, doth lie;
16 Hateiteh, Bawipa koe lah a kamlang awh toteh, hote minhmai ramuknae lukkarei teh takhoe lah ao han.
Howbeit, whensoever he turneth unto [the] Lord, he taketh off the veil:
17 Bawipa ti navah Muitha doeh deingai nah. Bawipa e muitha aonae koe hloutnae ao.
And, the Lord, is, the Spirit: now, where the Spirit of one who is Lord [is, there is] freedom!
18 Maimouh pueng ni minhmai ramuknae hawng a vaiteh, hlalang kâkhet e patetlah Bawipa e bawilennae heh khet awh vaiteh, Muitha lawkkam e Bawipa ni raeng a patoun e patetlah a bawilennae dawk meilam kâthungnae teh coe awh.
And, we all, with unveiled face, receiving and reflecting, the glory of [the] Lord, into the same image, are being transformed, from glory into glory, —even as from a Spirit that is Lord.
