1 Hatdawkvah ayâ ni maimanaw teh Khrih e san hoi Cathut e hrolawk hno ka kuemkung lah na pouk awh naseh.
Let a man, so, be reckoning of us, as officers of Christ, and stewards of sacred secrets of God.
2 Hno kuemkung teh yuemkamcu telah ayâ ni panue e tami han.
Here, furthermore, it is sought in stewards, that, faithful, one be found.
3 Nangmouh hoi alouknaw ni hai kai hah lawkkam na cak hoeh telah lawk na ceng awh e heh hno kathoenge doeh. Kai teh kamahoima hai lawk ka ceng hoeh.
With me, however, it counteth for the very smallest thing, that, by you, I should be examined, or by a human day. Nay! I am not even examining myself,
4 Ka pouknae a thoung. Hatei, hottelah ka o dawkvah kai teh tamikalan telah khoe e lah kaawm hoeh. Kai lawkcengkung teh Bawipa doeh.
For, of nothing, to myself, am I conscious: nevertheless, not hereby, am I declared righteous, but, he that doth examine me, is the Lord.
5 Hatdawkvah, atueng a pha hoehnahlan, apihai lawkceng awh hanh. Bawipa a tho totouh ring awh. Ahni ni hmonae koe hro e pueng angnae dawk a kamnue sak vaiteh, tami e pouknae puenghai a kamnue sak han. Hattoteh tami pueng ni Cathut koehoi oupnae a coe awh han.
So then, not before the fitting time, be judging anything, —until the Lord shall come, who will both bring to light the hidden things of darkness, and make manifest the counsels of the hearts; and, then, the praise shall come to each one, from God.
6 Hmaunawnghanaw, Cakathoung dawk thut lah kaawm e tapuet laihoi ayânaw bari kawi nahoeh tie lawk hah kaimouh roi koehoi kamtu thai awh nahan, buet touh ni buet touh e lathueng na kâoup awh hoeh nahan, kai hoi Apollos bangnue lahoi hete hnonaw hah nangmouh hanelah ka pâpho.
But, these things, brethren, have I transferred unto myself and Apollos, for your sakes, that, in us, ye might learn [the lesson] —Not beyond the things that are written…! that ye do not puff yourselves up, individually, for this one against that.

For who maketh thee to differ? and what hast thou which thou didst not receive? But, if thou didst even receive it, why dost thou boast, as though thou hadst not received it?
8 Na kuep awh toe. Na bawi awh toe. Kaimouh laipalah na uk awh toe. Kaimouh hah nangmouh hoi rei uk thai nahanelah na uk awh katang pawiteh ahawi.
Already, ye have become full, already, ye are become rich, —apart from us, ye are become kings! And I would indeed ye had become kings, that, we also, with you, might have together become kings!
9 Kai niteh, thei hane naw patetlah Cathut ni kaimouh gunceinaw a hnukteng koe lah na ta awh toe telah ka pouk. Bangkongtetpawiteh, kalvantaminaw hmalah, hoi talai taminaw hmalah, talaivan abuemlah ni khet han kawi lah ka o awh.
For I think that, God, hath set forth, us the apostles, to be last of all, as men devoted to death, —in that, a spectacle, have we been made, unto the world, —both unto messengers and unto men.
10 Kaimouh teh Khrih hanelah tamipathu lah ka o awh. Hatei nangmouh teh Khrih dawk na lungang awh. Kaimouh teh ka thayoun awh. Hatei nangmanaw teh na thao awh. Nangmouh teh bari kaawm e lah na o awh. Hatei kaimouh teh hnephnap e lah ka o awh.
We, are foolish for Christ’s sake, but, ye, prudent in Christ; we are weak, but, ye, mighty; ye, all-glorious, but, we, dishonoured.
11 Kaimouh teh atu raw vonhlamrinci hoi, caici lah o hoi, rektap e lah ka o awh teh, im laipalah,
Until the present hour, we both hunger and thirst, and are naked, and are buffeted, and are wanderers,
12 mae kut hoi thaw ka tawk awh. Na pathoe awh navah yawhawinae lah ka pouk awh. Rektapnae kâhmo navah ka panguep awh.
And toil, working with our own hands: being reviled, we bless, being persecuted, we hold on,
13 Na dudam awh torei teh, lungpatawnae kamnue sak pouh awh. Atu sittouh tami pueng ni na takhoe awh, talaivan e songnawng patetlah na pouk awh.
Being defamed, we beseech: as the sweepings of the world have we become, the offscouring of all—until even now.
14 Nangmouh kaya sak nahanlah ka ngai dawk hete ca ka thut e nahoeh. Ka pahren e ka canaw patetlah na kâhruetcuet awh nahanlah hete ca na thut pouh e doeh.
Not, to shame you, write I these things; but, as my beloved children, I admonish you.
15 Bangkongtetpawiteh nangmouh dawk Khrih kong na ka cangkhai e thong hra touh kaawm nakunghai, na pa moipap hoeh. Khrih Jisuh dawkvah kamthang kahawi lahoi na khe awh.
For, though myriads of tutors ye should have in Christ, yet not many fathers; for, in Christ Jesus, through means of the joyful message, I, begat you.
16 Hatdawkvah, kaie nuen na out awh nahanlah na hroecoe awh.
I beseech you, therefore, —become imitators of me.
17 Hot kecu dawkvah, Bawipa dawk yuemkamcu e ka pahren e ka capa Timote nangmouh koe ka patoun. Ahni ni kho tangkuem e kawhmoun pueng koe kai ni ka cangkhai e patetlah Khrih Jisuh dawk kai ni ka dawn e lamthung hah nangmouh bout na panue sak awh han doeh.
For this cause, sent I unto you, Timothy, —who is my beloved and faithful child in the Lord, who shall put, you, in mind of my ways which are in Christ [Jesus], even as, everywhere, in every assembly, I teach.
18 Kai nangmouh koe tho mahoeh telah tami tangawn ni a pouk awh teh, a kâoup awh.
But, as though I were not coming unto you, some are puffed up!
19 Bawipa ni a ngainae awm pawiteh karanglah ka tho han. Hat toteh, ahnimouh kâoupnae dawk laipalah, ahnimae bahu hah ka panue han doeh.
Howbeit, I will come quickly unto you, —if, the Lord, please, —and will get to know—not the speech of them who are puffed up, but, the power;
20 Bangkongtetpawiteh, Cathut uknaeram teh lawk dawk kaawm e nahoeh, bahu dawk doeh ao.
For, not in speech, is the kingdom of God, but, in power.
21 Bangmaw na ngaihnawn awh, bongpai hoi na ou ka tho han, lungpatawnae, lungdolungnemnae hoi na ou ka tho han.
What will ye? that, with a rod, I should come unto you? or, with love, and a spirit of meekness?
