< 1 Kawrin 15 >
Now I declare to you, brethren, the glad tidings which I announced to; which, also, you have received, and in which you stand.
2 Nangmouh koe ka pâpho e lawk heh, kacaklah na kuen awh pawiteh, hote kamthang kahawi lahoi nangmouh rungngang e lah na o awh.
By which, also, you are saved, if you retain those joyful tidings which I delivered to you; unless you believed to no purpose.
For I delivered to you, among the first things, what also I received first--that Christ died for our sins, according to the scriptures;
4 Pakawp hnukkhu Cakathoung ni a dei e patetlah apâthum hnin bout a thaw toe.
and that he was buried; and that he rose again the third day, according to the scriptures;
5 Cephas ni Bawipa a hmu hnukkhu, hlaikahni touh e naw ni hai a hmu awh.
and that he was seen by Cephas, then by the twelve.
6 Hathnukkhu, hmaunawngha cum panga touh hlai koe bout a kamphawng pouh. Ahnimouh thung dawk a tangawn teh atu sittouh a hring awh rah. A tangawn naw teh a i awh toe.
After that, he was seen by above five hundred brethren at once; of whom the greater part remain to this present time, but some are fallen asleep.
7 Hat hoi, Jem koe a kamnue.
After that, he was seen by James; then, by all the Apostles.
8 Hathnukkhu gunceinaw pueng koe a kamphawng pouh. A hnuktengpoung thapa kuep laipalah ka khe e patetlah kaawm e kai koehai a kamnue van.
And, last of all he was seen by me, as by one born out of due time.
9 Kai heh, alouke gunceinaw thung dawk kathoengpounge lah ka o teh, Cathut e kawhmoun ka pacekpahlek dawk, guncei ti hanelah kamcu hoeh.
For I am the least of the Apostles; who am not worthy to be called an Apostle, because I persecuted the congregation of God.
10 Hatei Cathut e lungmanae lahoi, kai teh kai lah ka o. Ka coe e a lungmanae hai ayawmyin ka coe hoeh. Hatdawkvah, alouke gunceinaw pueng hlak kai hoe kâyawmnae ka tawn. Hatei kai nahoeh. Kai dawk kaawm e Cathut lungmanae hoi doeh.
But, by the favor of God, I am what I am: and his favor which was bestowed on me, was not vain; for I have labored more abundantly than all of them; yet not I, but the favor of God, which is with me.
11 Kai ni hai ahnimouh ni hai het doeh a pâpho awh. Het doeh ka yuem awh.
Well, then, whether I or they, so we proclaim, and so you believed.
12 Khrih teh duenae koehoi bout a thaw toe tie ka pâpho toung pawiteh, bangtelamaw a tangawn ni duenae koehoi boutthawnae awmhoeh na ti awh vaw.
Now, if it be proclaimed that Christ was raised from the dead, how is it that some among you say, that there is no resurrection of the dead?
13 Duenae koehoi boutthawnae awmhoeh pawiteh, Khrih hai duenae koehoi thaw van mahoeh.
For if there be no resurrection of the dead, neither has Christ been raised.
And if Christ has not been raised, vain, certainly, is our proclamation, and vain, also, is your faith.
15 Hothloilah kaimouh teh Cathut e thaw dawk kamsoumhoeh e kapanuekkhaikung lah doeh kaawm awh tih. Cathut ni kadout tangcoungnaw bout thaw sak hoehpawiteh, Cathut ni a thaw sak hoeh e Khrih hah Cathut ni a thaw sak toe telah laithoe ka dei e lah doeh awm awh tih.
Besides, we are found even false witnesses concerning God; because we have witnessed, with respect to God, that he raised Christ; whom he raised not, if, indeed, the dead are not raised.
16 Bangtelah tetpawiteh, kadoutnaw boutthawnae awmhoeh pawiteh, Cathut ni Khrih hai thaw sak mahoeh.
And if the dead are not raised, neither has Christ been raised,
17 Khrih duenae koehoi bout thaw hoehpawiteh, nangmae yuemnae teh banglahai tho hoeh. Yonnae a rahim doeh na o a rah.
Farther, if Christ has not been raised, your faith is useless; you are still in your sins.
18 Telah pawiteh Khrih thung kaip tangcoungnaw hai kahmakata awh toe.
Certainly, also, they who are fallen asleep in Christ are perished.
19 Atu hring nahane dueng, Khrih thung ngaihawinae tawn pawiteh, tami pueng hlak pahren ka tho poung la doeh o awh.
If in this life, only, we have hope in Christ, we are, of all men, the most miserable.
20 Atuteh Khrih duenae koehoi a thaw katang toung dawk kaipnaw thung dawk aluepaw lah ao.
But now Christ is raised from the dead, --the first fruit of them who have fallen asleep.
21 Hatdawkvah duenae teh tami buet touh koehoi a tho, boutthawnae hai tami buet touh dawk hoi a tho van,
For since through a man came death, through a man also comes the resurrection of the dead.
22 Tami pueng Adam dawk hoi duenae koe pha awh e patetlah tami pueng Khrih thung hoi bout hringnae koe pha awh han.
Therefore, as by Adam all die, so also by Christ all shall be made alive.
23 Hatei a taminaw pueng amamae atueng a pha torei a thaw awh han. Khrih teh aluepaw doeh. Hathnukkhu Khrih a tho toteh a taminaw bout thaw awh han.
But every one in his own rank: Christ the first fruit; they that are Christ's, afterward, at his coming.
24 Hathnukkhu a poutnae teh a pha han. Hattoteh Khrih ni uknae pueng, kâtawnnae pueng, hoi bahu pueng apout sak vaiteh, Cathut uknaeram hah Na pa koe a poe han.
Then comes the end, when he shall resign the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have abolished all government, and all authority, and power.
25 A tarannaw pueng a khok rahim a hruek hoehroukrak Khrih ni a uk han.
For he must reign till he has put all the enemies under his feet.
26 A hnuktengpoung e taran tie duenae teh poutnae koe ka phat han.
The last enemy, Death, shall be destroyed.
27 Hno cawngca tami Capa e khok rahim a hruek toe telah Cakathoung dawk thut lah ao. Hno cawngca a khok rahim a hruek ti navah, hnocawngca khok rahim kahruengkung ama teh bawk hoeh tie a kamceng.
For he has subjected all things under his feet. Now when it says that all things are subjected, it is manifest that he is excepted, who has subjected all things to him.
28 Hetnaw be a sak hnukkhu Cathut teh a cawngca dawk a cawngca lah ao thai nahan, hnocawngca pueng hah tami Capa e khok rahim ka tat pouh kung e uknae rahim vah Capa ma roeroe hai ao han.
Now, when all things are subjected to him, then even the Son himself shall be subjected to him, who subjected all things to him, that God may be all in all.
29 Kadout tangcoungnaw boutthawnae khoeroe awmhoeh pawiteh, kadoutnaw e yueng lah baptisma ka coe naw bangtelamaw ti han toung. Kadoutnaw e yueng lah bangkongmaw baptisma a coe a vaw.
Otherwise, what shall they do, who are immersed for the dead, if the dead rise not at all? why then are they immersed for them?
30 Maimouh hai bangkongmaw hnintangkuem runae kâhmo a vaw.
And why do we endanger ourselves every hour?
I solemnly declare, by your rejoicing, what I also have in Christ Jesus our Lord, that every day I die.
32 Kadoutnaw boutthawnae awm hoehpawiteh, Efisa kho tami pouknae sarang taki ka tho poung hoi kâtuknae hai kai hanlah bangmaw aphu kaawm. Cat awh sei, net awh sei, tangtho due a han toe.
If, after the manner of men, I have fought with wild beasts at Ephesus, what is the advantage to me, if the dead rise not? Let us eat and drink, for tomorrow we die.
33 Alouklah pouk awh hanh. Tami kahawihoehnaw hoi kamyawngnae lahoi nuen kahawi a rawk thai.
Be not deceived: evil communications corrupt good manners.
34 Lannae koe lah yongvak awh haw. Yonnae sak awh hanh. Taminaw tangawn teh Cathut panuek a hoeh. Hottelah ka ti nah nangmouh kaya nahanelah doeh ka dei.
Awake up as you ought, and sin not; for some of you have not the knowledge of God. For shame to you, I say it.
But some one will say, How can the dead be raised up? and with what kind of body do they come?
Simpleton! what you sow is not made alive, except it die.
Catun nakunghai, cang nakunghai, a mu roeroe doeh na patûe awh.
And as to what you sow, you do not show the body which shall be produced, but the naked grain; it may be of wheat, or of any other kind:
38 Cathut ni a ngainae patetlah a kung a paw sak. Cati pueng hai amamouh phun patetlah a kung a paw sak.
but God gives it a body, as it has pleased him; and to each of the seeds, its proper body.
39 Moi pueng koung kâvan hoeh. Tami moi alouk, moithangnaw e moi alouk, tanga moi alouk, tava moi alouk, alouklouk lah ao awh.
All flesh is not the same flesh: but there is, indeed, one flesh of men, and another of beasts, and another of fishes, and another of fowls.
40 Kalvan tak ao teh talai tak hai ao. Hatei, kalvan tak e bawilennae phun louk, talai e bawilennae hai phun louk lah ao.
And there are bodies celestial, and bodies terrestrial: but different, indeed, is the glory of the celestial, and that of the terrestrial.
41 Kanî e bawilennae alouk, thapa e bawilennae alouk, âsi e bawilennae alouk, alouklouk lah doeh ao awh. Âsi buet touh rip e a bawilennae hai kâvan hoeh.
The glory of the sun is one, and the glory of the moon is another, and the glory of the stars another; moreover, star excels star in glory.
42 Hot patetvanlah kadoutnaw e boutthawnae teh ao. Tak teh patûe navah ka pawk thai e lah ao. Thaw toteh ka pawk thai hoeh e lah bout a thaw han.
Just so is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption--it is raised in incorruption:
43 Patûe navah bari awm hoeh. Bout thaw toteh a bawilen. Patûe navah tha a youn, bout thaw toteh bahu a o.
it is sown in dishonor--it is raised in glory: it is sown in weakness--it is raised in power:
44 Pakawp navah talai tak lah a o, bout thaw toteh muitha tak lah ao. Talai tak alouk, muitha tak alouklah ao.
it is sown an animal body--it is raised a spiritual body. There is an animal body, and there is a spiritual body.
45 Cakathoung ni, apasueke tami Adam teh kahring e lah ao. A hnukteng e Adam teh kahringsakkung Muitha doeh.
For thus it is written, "The first man, Adam, was made a living soul--the last Adam, a vivifying spirit."
46 Muitha tak ahmaloe awmhoeh. Talai tak hmaloe ao. Hathnukkhu muitha tak ao.
However, that was not first, which is spiritual; but that which is animal, and then that which is spiritual.
47 Ahmaloe e tami teh vaiphu hoi sak e talai tami doeh. Apâhni e tami teh kalvan kho hoi ka tho e Bawipa doeh.
The first man, from the earth, was earthy; the second man is the Lord from heaven.
48 Vaiphu hoi sak e tami teh hote vaiphu tami patetlah ao awh. Kalvanlae taminaw teh hote kalvanlae tami patetlah ao awh han.
As was the earthy, so also are the earthy; and as is the heavenly, such also shall be heavenly.
For, as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly.
And this I affirm, brethren, that flesh and blood can not inherit the kingdom of God; neither can corruption inherit incorruption.
51 Hrolawk na dei pouh han, maimouh pueng koung ip a mahoeh.
Behold, I tell you a secret: we shall not, indeed, all die; but we shall all be changed;
52 Hatei, a hnukteng e mongka ueng torei teh, tawkkadekca dawk maimouh pueng teh mitpalap vah koung kâthung awh han. Mongka ueng lawk thai toteh kadout tangcoungnaw ka pawk thai hoeh e lah a thaw awh han. Maimouh pueng hai koung kâthung awh han.
in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet; for it shall sound, and then the dead shall be raised incorruptible; and we shall be changed.
For this corruptible body, must put on incorruption; and this mortal body must put on immortality.
Now, when this corruptible body shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal body shall have put on immortality, then that saying of scripture shall be accomplished, "Death is swallowed up forever."
55 Oe duenae nange sue teh nâ ne. Oe phuen, nange tânae teh nâne ao. (Hadēs )
Death! where is thy sting? Hades! where is thy victory? (Hadēs )
56 Duenae sue teh yon doeh. Yon thaonae teh kâlawk doeh.
For the sting of death is sin, and the strength of sin is the law.
Now thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
Rawm laipalah Cathut e thaw dawk thapatho nateh panki awh.
Wherefore, my beloved brethren, be stable, unmoved; abounding in the work of the Lord at all times, knowing that your labor is not vain in the Lord.
