1 Hahoi teh, Isarelnaw pueng imthung lahoi separuinae teh, Isarel siangpahrangnaw cauk dawkvah a thut awh. Hateiteh, Judah teh yuemkamcu lah ao hoeh dawkvah, Babilon vah san lah a hrawi awh.
And all [those of] Israel have reckoned themselves by genealogy, and behold, they are written on the scroll of the kings of Israel and Judah—they were removed to Babylon for their trespass.
2 A coe awh e khonaw dawk hmaloe kaawm e naw teh Isarelnaw, vaihmanaw, Levihnaw, Nethinimnaw doeh.
And the first inhabitants, who [are] in their possession, in their cities, of Israel, [are] the priests, the Levites, and the Nethinim.
3 Jerusalem vah Judah casak, Benjamin casak, Ephraim hoi Manasseh casak naw hai kho a sak awh.
And those who dwelt in Jerusalem of the sons of Judah, and of the sons of Benjamin, and of the sons of Ephraim and Manasseh:
4 Judah capa Perez casak Bani, Benjamin capa Imri, Imri capa Omri, Omri capa Ammihud, Ammihud capa Uthai.
Uthai son of Ammihud, son of Omri, son of Imri, son of Bani, of the sons of Perez, son of Judah.

And of the Shilonite: Asaiah the firstborn, and his sons.

And of the sons of Zerah: Jeuel, and their brothers—six hundred and ninety.
7 Benjamin casak Hassenuah capa Hodaviah, Hodaviah capa Meshullam, Meshullam capa Salu.
And of the sons of Benjamin: Sallu son of Meshullam, son of Hodaviah, son of Hassenuah,
8 Jeroham capa Ibneiah, Uzzi capa Elah, Mikhri capa Uzzi, Shephatiah capa Meshullam, Reuel capa Sephatiah, Ibnijah capa Reuel.
and Ibneiah son of Jeroham, and Elah son of Uzzi, son of Michri, and Meshullam son of Shephatiah, son of Reuel, son of Ibnijah.

And their brothers, according to their generations, [are] nine hundred and fifty-six. All these [are] men, heads of fathers, according to the house of their fathers.

And of the priests: Jedaiah, and Jehoiarib, and Jachin,
11 Cathut im dawk kahrawikung lah kaawm awh e Ahitub capa Meraioth, Meraioth capa Zadok, Zadok capa Meshullam, Meshullam capa Hilkiah, Hilkiah capa Azariah.
and Azariah son of Hilkiah, son of Meshullam, son of Zadok, son of Meraioth, son of Ahitub, leader in the house of God;
12 Jeroham capa Adaiah, Pashhur capa Jeroham, Malkhijah capa Pashhur, Adiel capa Maasai, Jahzerah capa Adiel, Meshullam capa Jahzerah, Meshillemith capa Meshullam, Immer capa Meshillemith.
and Adaiah son of Jeroham, son of Pashhur, son of Malchijah, and Maasai son of Adiel, son of Jahzerah, son of Meshullam, son of Meshillemith, son of Immer.
13 Ahnimouh a hmaunawnghanaw hai a napanaw e imthung dawk a lû lah kaawmnaw doeh. Hotnaw teh Cathut im dawk thaw ka tawk thai awh e lah ao awh teh, tami 1760 touh a pha awh.
And their brothers, heads of the house of their fathers, [are] one thousand and seven hundred and sixty, mighty in valor, for the work of the service of the house of God.
14 Levih, Merari casaknaw teh Hasshub capa Shemaiah, Azrikam capa Hasshub, Hashabiah capa Azrikam.
And of the Levites: Shemaiah son of Hashshub, son of Azrikam, son of Hashabiah, of the sons of Merari;
15 Bakbakkar Heresh hoi Galal, Mikha capa Mattaniah, Zikhri capa Mikha, Asaph capa Zikhri.
and Bakbakkar, Heresh, and Galal, and Mattaniah son of Micah, son of Zichri, son of Asaph;
16 Shemaiah capa Obadiah, Galal capa Shemaiah, Jeduthun capa Galal, Asa capa Berekhiah, Elkanah capa Asa teh Netophah kho dawk kho a sak awh.
and Obadiah son of Shemariah, son of Galal, son of Jeduthun, and Berechiah, son of Asa, son of Elkanah, who is dwelling in the villages of the Netophathite.
17 Longkha karingkungnaw teh Shallum, Akkub, Talmon hoi Ahiman. Shallum teh lû lah ao.
And the gatekeepers [are] Shallum, and Akkub, and Talmon, and Ahiman, and their brothers—Shallum [is] the head;
18 Ahni teh ha hoehnahlan vah, atunglah kaawm e lah ao. Ahnimouh teh Levih e catounnaw roenae hmuen longkha karingkungnaw lah ao awh.
and until now they [are] at the gate of the king eastward; they [are] the gatekeepers for the companies of the sons of Levi.
19 Kore capa Shallum, Ebiasaph capa Kore, Korah capa Ebiasaph hoi a hmaunawnghanaw. Mintoenaw e BAWIPA im dawk thaw katawknaw, kâennae longkha karingkungnaw lah ao awh.
And Shallum son of Kore, son of Ebiasaph, son of Korah, and his brothers, of the house of his father, the Korahites, [are] over the work of the service, keepers of the thresholds of the tent, and their fathers [are] over the camp of YHWH, keepers of the entrance;
20 Eleazar capa Phinehas teh BAWIPA ni a okhai teh kahrawikung lah ao.
and Phinehas son of Eleazar has been leader over them formerly; YHWH [is] with him.
21 Meshelemiah capa Zekhariah teh kamkhuengnae lukkareiim takhang ka ring e lah ao.
Zechariah son of Meshelemiah [is] gatekeeper at the opening of the Tent of Meeting.
22 Longkha ka ring hanelah a rawi e naw teh, 212 touh a pha awh. Devit hoi Samuel ni a tawk awh hane a pouk e naw teh, mae kho lengkaleng a tâconae patetlah separuinae dawk thut e lah ao.
All of those who are chosen for gatekeepers at the thresholds [are] two hundred and twelve; they [are] in their villages, by their genealogy; they whom David and Samuel the seer appointed in their office.
23 Hettelah amamouh hoi a catounnaw haiyah BAWIPA e lukkareiim longkha ka ring hanelah ao awh.
And they and their sons [are] over the gates of the house of YHWH, even of the house of the tent, by watches.
24 Kanîtho, kanîloum, atunglah, akalah, petkâtue lah longkha karingkungnaw thaw poe lah ao.
The gatekeepers are at [the] four sides: east, west, north, and south.
25 Khote lae a hmaunawnghanaw teh hnin sari touh thung hanelah hnin touh hoi hnin touh, a kâhlai awh vaiteh, meng a tho awh hane doeh.
And their brothers in their villages [are] to come in with these for seven days from time to time.
26 Bangkongtetpawiteh, longkha karingkungnaw pali touh teh Levihnaw doeh. Cathut e im dawk a hruek awh e hnopai karingkung lah ao awh.
For the four chiefs of the gatekeepers in office, they are Levites, and they have been over the chambers, and over the treasuries of the house of God,
27 Hottelah amom tangkuem longkha paawng e hah thaw poe e lah ao dawkvah, Cathut e im petkâkalup lah a roe awh.
and they lodge around the house of God, for the watch [is] on them, and they [are] over the opening, even morning by morning.
28 Tangawn ni thaw tawknae puengcangnaw a ring awh, a kuem awh, a la awh, ouk a touk awh.
And [some] of them [are] over the vessels of service, for they bring them in by number, and by number they take them out.
29 Tangawn teh hnopai hmuen kathoung dawk e puengcangnaw hah, tavai, misur, satui, hmuitui a kuemyawt awh teh a ring awh.
And [some] of them are appointed over the vessels, even over all the vessels of the holy place, and over the fine flour, and the wine, and the oil, and the frankincense, and the spices.
30 Vaihma capa tangawn ni hmuitui hah ouk a sak awh.
And [some] of the sons of the priests are mixing the mixture for spices.
31 Korah tami Shallum e capa kacuepounge Levih tami Mattithiah teh vaiyei karê thaw a tawk.
And Mattithiah of the Levites (he [is] the firstborn to Shallum the Korahite), [is] in office over the work of the pans.
32 Kohath capanaw thung dawk hoi a hmaunawngha tangawn teh Sabbath hnintangkuem hanelah, vaiyei ka rakueng e lah ao.
And of the sons of the Kohathite, [some] of their brothers [are] over the bread of the arrangement, to prepare [it] Sabbath by Sabbath.
33 Hetnaw heh la ka sak e Levihnaw a na pa imthung kahrawikung, bawkim rakhan karingnaw, lah ao awh teh, alouke thaw kâbet awh hoeh. Bangkongtetpawiteh, karum khodai thaw katawknaw lah ao awh.
And these who sing, heads of fathers of the Levites, in the chambers, [are] free, for [they are] over them in the work by day and by night.
34 Levih imthung kacuenaw teh, amamae se dawk kacue e lah Jerusalem vah pou ao awh.
These heads of the fathers of the Levites [are] heads throughout their generations. These have dwelt in Jerusalem.
35 Gibeon na pa Jeiel, Jeiel teh Gibeon vah kho a sak teh, a yu min teh Maakah doeh.
And the father of Gibeon, Jehiel, has dwelt in Gibeon, and the name of his wife [is] Maachah;
36 A camin teh Abdon doeh. Hahoi Zur, Kish, Baal, Ner hoi Nadab.
and his son, the firstborn, [is] Abdon, and Zur, and Kish, and Ba‘al, and Ner, and Nadab,
37 Gedor, Ahio, Zekhariah hoi Mikloth naw a sak.
and Gedor, and Ahio, and Zechariah, and Mikloth.
38 Mikloth ni Shimeah a sak. Ahni hai Jerusalem vah a hmaunawnghanaw koe ao.
And Mikloth begot Shimeam, and they have also dwelt opposite their brothers—with their brothers in Jerusalem.
39 Ner ni Kish a sak, Kish ni Sawl a sak, Sawl ni Jonathan, Malkhishua, Abinadab hoi Eshbaal a sak.
And Ner begot Kish, and Kish begot Saul, and Saul begot Jonathan, and Malchi-Shua, and Abinadab, and Esh-Ba‘al.
40 Jonathan casak Meribbaal doeh, Meribbaal ni Maikah a sak.
And a son of Jonathan [is] Merib-Ba‘al, and Merib-Ba‘al begot Micah.
41 Maikah casak teh Pithon, Melek hoi Tahrea.
And sons of Micah: Pithon, and Melech, and Tahrea,
42 Ahaz ni Jarah a sak, Jarah ni Alemeth, Azmaveth hoi Zimri a sak. Zimri ni Moza a sak.
and Ahaz—he begot Jaarah, and Jaarah begot Alemeth, and Azmaveth, and Zimri, and Zimri begot Moza,
43 Moza ni Binea a sak teh Binea capa Rephaiah, Rephaiah capa Eleasah, Eleasah capa Azel.
and Moza begot Binea, and Rephaiah his son, Eleasah his son, Azel his son.
44 Azel teh capa taruk touh a tawn. A minnaw teh: Azrikam, Bokeru, Ishmael, Sheariah, Obadiah hoi Hanan doeh. Hetnaw teh Azel capanaw doeh.
And to Azel [are] six sons, and these [are] their names: Azrikam, Bocheru, and Ishmael, and Sheariah, and Obadiah, and Hanan; these [are] sons of Azel.
