1 Hahoi siangpahrang Devit ni taminaw koevah, Cathut ni a rawi e ka capa Solomon hah, a camo rah, a hmu thai e awm hoeh. A tawk hane teh a len poung. Bangkongtetpawiteh, bawkim teh tami hane tho hoeh niteh, BAWIPA Cathut hane doeh.
Then said David the king unto all the convocation, Solomon my son, the one, of whom God hath made choice, is young and tender, —and, the work, is great, seeing that, not for man, is the palace, but for Yahweh Elohim.
2 Hatdawkvah, ka Cathut im hane sui hnonae dawk sui, ngun hnonae dawk ngun, rahum hnonae dawk rahum, sum hnonae dawk sum, thing hnonae dawk thingnaw hah be ka rakueng toe. A mei pathoup nahanelah, onyx talung pangaw hoi a meikahawi e talungpangawnaw hoi, pathoup nahane talung a phukaawm e a phunphun hoi talungpangawnaw hai moikapap a ta toe
And, with all my might, have I made preparation for the house of my God, the gold for the gold, and the silver for the silver, and the bronze for the bronze, the iron for the iron, and the wood for the wood, —and beryl stones and settings, stones coloured and particoloured, and all manner of precious stones and stones of white marble, in abundance.
3 Hothloilah ka Cathut e im teh sak ngainae kalen poung lah ao dawkvah, kamae hnopai sui hoi ngunnaw hai im kathoung hanelah be ka rakueng e naw hloilah, ka Cathut im hanelah ka poe toe.
And yet further, because of my delighting in the house of my God, having a treasure of mine own in gold and silver, I have given for the house of my God, above and beyond all that I have prepared for the holy house:
4 Hahoi tapang sak nahane ophir sui talen 3,000 hoi kathounge ngun talen 7,000.
three thousand talents of gold, of the gold of Ophir, —and seven thousand talents of refined silver, for overlaying the walls of the recesses.
5 Hnonae a phunphun dawk, kathoumnaw ni a hno hane, sui hno hane dawk sui, ngun hno nahane dawk ngun.
Of gold for the gold, and of silver for the silver, and for all manner of work in the hand of artificers, —Who then is ready to offer willingly, by filling his hand to-day, unto Yahweh?
6 Hottelah imthungkhu kahrawikung Isarel miphun ka hrawi naw hoi, 1,000 kauknaw hoi, 100 touh kauknaw, siangpahrang thaw ka tawk e kahrawikungnaw hoi lunghawicalah hoi a poe awh.
Then offered they willingly—the ancestral rulers and the rulers of the tribes of Israel, and the rulers of thousands and hundreds, even to the rulers of the work of the king;
7 Cathut e im saknae dawkvah sui talen 5,000 hoi Darik 10, 000 hoi rahum talen 18, 000, sum talen 100, 000 a poe awh.
and gave for the service of the house of God, of gold, five thousand talents and ten thousand drams, and, of silver, ten thousand talents, and, of bronze, eighteen thousand talents, —and, of iron, one hundred thousand talents.
8 Talung phu kaawmnaw ni Gershon tami Jehiel ni a khetyawt e BAWIPA e hno dawk a ta awh.
And, every one with whom were found precious stones, gave to the treasure of the house of Yahweh, —unto the hand of Jehiel the Gershonite.
9 Hatdawkvah, taminaw teh a lung hroung a hawi poung awh. Pouknae buet touh dawk lunghawinae, BAWIPA hno a poe awh dawkvah, Siangpahrang Devit hai a lung hroung ahawi.
So the people rejoiced because they willingly offered, for, with a perfect heart, offered they willingly unto Yahweh, —moreover also, David the king, rejoiced with great joy.
10 Hatdawkvah, Devit ni tamipueng e hmalah BAWIPA a pholen. Kaimae BAWIPA Cathut, nang teh yungyoe hoi yungyoe totouh pholennae awm seh.
Therefore did David bless Yahweh in the eyes of all the convocation, —and David said, Blessed art thou, O Yahweh, the God of Israel our father, from age even unto age.
11 Oe BAWIPA na lennae, na bahu, na bawilennae, na tânae, hoi na taluenae teh namae doeh. Bangkongtetpawiteh, kalvan hoi talai dawk kaawmnaw pueng, namae doeh. Oe BAWIPA uknaeram teh nama e doeh. Nang teh bangpuengpa dawk a Lathueng Poung lah na o.
Thine, O Yahweh, are Greatness, and Might, and Beauty, and Victory, and Majesty, nay! all in the heavens and in the earth, —thine, O Yahweh, is the kingdom, who art exalted above all, —as chief;
12 Tawntanae hoi barinae teh nama koehoi ka tho e naw doeh.
and, riches and honour, are from before thee, and, thou, art ruling over all, and, in thy hand, are power and might, —and, in thy hand, it is, to give greatness and strength unto any.
Now, therefore, O our God, we are giving thanks unto thee, —and offering praise, unto thy beautiful Name.
14 Hatei, tami bangpatet e lah maw ka o teh, ka taminaw hai bang lah maw ao awh teh, hete hnonaw heh lunghawicalah hoi a poe thai awh.
And yet, who am, I, and who are my people, that we should be able to offer willingly like this? for, from thee, is the whole, and, out of thine own hand, have we given unto thee;
Het talai van ka hring nathung e a hninnaw teh tâhlip thung e patetlah doeh ao. Ngaihawinae banghai awm hoeh.
for, sojourners, are we before thee, and strangers, like all our fathers, —like a shadow, are our days upon the earth, and there is no hope.
O Yahweh our God, all this abundance which we have prepared, to build thee a house for thy holy Name, out of thine own hand, it is, and, thine, is the whole.
But I know, O my God, that, thou, art proving the heart, and, with uprightness, wilt thou be pleased, —I, in the uprightness of my heart, have willingly offered all these things, now, therefore, thy people who are found here, have I seen with joy, offering willingly unto thee.
18 Oe BAWIPA, kaimae na pa Abraham, Isak, Isarel Cathut, na taminaw ni het patet e lungthin pou a tawn thai nahanelah, a lungthin hah nama hanelah caksak haw.
O Yahweh, God of Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, our fathers, oh guard this age-abidingly, as the devised purpose of the heart of thy people, —and establish thou their heart, unto thyself.
19 Hahoi ka capa Solomon heh kâpoelawknaw, na panuesaknaenaw, hoi na phunglawknaw tarawi hane, hotnaw pueng teh sak hane hoi, ka rakueng tangcoung e im hah sak hane, yuemkamcu e lungthin poe ei telah Devit ni atipouh.
Also, unto Solomon my son, give thou an undivided heart, to keep thy commandments, thy testimonies, and thy statutes, —to do the whole, and to build the palace for which I have prepared.
20 Hahoi Devit ni kamkhueng e taminaw pueng koe atuvah, BAWIPA na Cathut teh pholen awh telah ati. Hottelah tamihupui ni a mintoenaw e BAWIPA Cathut teh a pholen awh teh BAWIPA hoi siangpahrang e hmalah a lûsaling awh teh a tabut awh.
Then said David, unto all the convocation, Bless, I beseech you, Yahweh your God. So all the convocation blessed Yahweh, the God of their fathers, and did bend their heads and bow themselves down unto Yahweh, and unto the king;
21 Hahoi a tangtho vah BAWIPA koe hmaisawi thuengnae sak hanelah maitotan 1000, hoi tutan 1000, tuca 1000, hoi sathei poenae hoi Isarelnaw pueng hane sathei poenae moikapap lah a poe awh.
and sacrificed unto Yahweh sacrifices, and caused to go up ascending-offerings unto Yahweh, on the morrow of that day, a thousand bullocks, a thousand rams, a thousand young sheep, and the drink-offerings thereof, —and sacrifices in abundance, for all Israel.
22 Hatnah hnin vah lunghawinae kalen poung hoi BAWIPA e hmalah a canei awh. Apâhni e dawk Devit capa Solomon teh siangpahrang lah ao sak awh teh, kahrawikung lah ao nahanelah BAWIPA e hmalah satui a awi awh. Hahoi vaihma lah kaawm hane Zadok hah satui a awi awh.
And so they did eat and drink before Yahweh on that day, with great joy, —and they, the second time, made Solomon son of David king, and anointed him unto Yahweh to be chief ruler, and Zadok to be priest.
23 Hottelah Solomon teh BAWIPA e bawitungkhung dawk a na pa Devit e a yueng siangpahrang lah a tahung. A lamcawn teh, Isarelnaw pueng ni a lawk teh a ngâi pouh awh.
So Solomon took his seat upon the throne of Yahweh, as king, instead of David his father, and prospered, —and all Israel, hearkened unto him.
24 Kahrawikungnaw pueng hoi athakaawme taminaw pueng hoi, siangpahrang Devit e capa alouknaw pueng hah siangpahrang Solomon koe a kâpoe awh.
And, all the rulers, and the heroes, yea moreover all the sons of King David, gave a hand, under Solomon the king.
25 Hottelah BAWIPA ni Solomon teh Isarelnaw pueng e mithmu dawk a kamsawng sak. Isarel ram dawk ahni hoehnahlan siangpahrangnaw thung dawk apinihai a coe boihoeh e taluenae hah a coe sak.
And Yahweh magnified Solomon, exceedingly, before the eyes of all Israel, —and gave unto him a royal majesty, that had not been on any king before him, over Israel.
26 Jesi capa Devit ni Isarelnaw pueng a uk.
Thus, David son of Jesse, reigned over all Israel;
27 Isarelnaw a uk nathung teh kum 40 touh a pha. Hebron vah kum 7 a uk teh Jerusalem vah kum 33 touh a uk.
and, the days that he reigned over Israel, were forty years, —in Hebron reigned he seven years, and in Jerusalem, reigned he, thirty-three.
28 A kum kacuepoung lah matawng totouh a hring teh a hring nathung a tawnta e hoi pholennae, oupnae hoi a due. A capa Solomon ni amae yueng lah a uk.
And he died in a good old age, satisfied with days, riches and honour, —and Solomon his son reigned in his stead.
29 Khenhaw! siangpahrang Devit kong teh, kamtawngnae koehoi a pout totouh kahmawtkung Samuel cauk dawk profet Nathan e cauk dawk, kahmawtkung Gad e cauk naw dawk hai a thut awh na a.
Now, the acts of David the king, first and last, behold them! written in the records of Samuel the seer, and in the records of Nathan the prophet, and in the records of Gad the seer:
30 A uknaeram pueng hoi, a bawilennae naw pueng hoi, ama hai Isarelnaw, ramnaw pueng a uknae dawkvah, ka tho e hno pueng teh ka kuepcalah thut e lah ao.
with all his reign, and his might, —and the times which passed over him, and over Israel, and over all the kingdoms of the lands.
