1 Hahoi teh, Asaph, Heman, Jeduthun casak tangawn ni ratoung hoi tamawi, cecaknaw hoi tumkhawng hanelah Devit hoi ransabawinaw ni lengkaleng thaw a poe awh.

And David and the heads of the host separate for service, of the sons of Asaph, and Heman, and Jeduthun, who are prophesying with harps, with psalteries, and with cymbals, and the number of the workmen is according to their service.

2 Thaw ka tawk hane naw teh, Asaph casak dawk hoi Zakkur, Joseph, Nethaniah hoi Asarelah. Ahnimouh teh Asaph casaknaw siangpahrang ni kâpoe e patetlah lawk kadeikung Asaph e kâ rahim vah kaawm e naw doeh.

Of sons of Asaph: Zaccur, and Joseph, and Nethaniah, and Asharelah, sons of Asaph, [are] by the side of Asaph, who is prophesying by the side of the king.

3 Jeduthun dawk hoi Jeduthun casaknaw teh Gedaliah, Zeri, Isaiah, Hashabiah, Mattithiah hoi taruk touh a pha awh. Ratoung hoi BAWIPA koe lunghawinae lawk kadeikung a na pa e kâ rahim kaawm e naw doeh.

Of Jeduthun: sons of Jeduthun, Gedaliah, and Zeri, and Jeshaiah, Hashabiah, and Mattithiah, Shisshah, [are] by the side of their father Jeduthun; with a harp he is prophesying, for giving of thanks and of praise to Jehovah.

4 Heman dawk hoi Heman casaknaw teh Bukkiah, Mattaniah, Uzziel, Shubael, Jerimoth, Hananiah, Hanani, Eliathah, Giddalti, Romamtiezer, Joshbekashah, Mallothi, Hothir, Mahazioth.

Of Heman: sons of Heman: Bukkiah, Mattaniah, Uzziel, Shebuel, and Jerimoth, Hananiah, Hanani, Eliathah, Giddalti, and Romamti-Ezer, Joshbekashah, Mallothi, Hothir, Mahazioth;

5 Hotnaw pueng teh siangpahrang hanelah kahmawtkung Heman casak a ki ka tawmrasang e lah ao awh. Cathut ni Heman teh ca tongpa 14 touh hoi canu 3 touh a poe.

all these [are] sons of Heman — seer of the king in the things of God — to lift up a horn; and God giveth to Heman fourteen sons and three daughters.

6 Hotnaw pueng teh, BAWIPA im dawk cecak, tamawi, ratoung hoi Cathut e im dawk thaw ka tawk nahanelah, la ka sak naw a na pa e kâ rahim kaawm e naw doeh. Asaph, Jeduthun hoi Heman naw teh, siangpahrang kâtawnnae rahim kaawm e naw doeh.

All these [are] by the side of their father in the song of the house of Jehovah, with cymbals, psalteries, and harps, for the service of the house of God; by the side of the king [are] Asaph, and Jeduthun, and Heman.

7 Ahnimouh teh a hmaunawnghanaw hoi BAWIPA hanelah la ka cang naw, ka thoum tangcoung naw abuemlah 288 touh a pha awh.

And their number, with their brethren — taught in the song of Jehovah, all who are intelligent — is two hundred, eighty and eight.

8 Kathoung kalen, kacangkhainaw hoi, kacangnaw, a coe awh hane suetalah cungpam a khoe pouh.

And they cause to fall lots — charge over-against [charge], as well the small as the great, the intelligent with the learner.

9 Hottelah cungpam a khoe e apasueke teh Asaph e capa Joseph tak dawk a bo. Apâhni e teh Gedaliah hoi a hmaunawnghanaw capa 12 dawk a bo.

And the first lot goeth out for Asaph to Joseph; [to] Gedaliah the second; he, and his brethren and his sons, twelve;

10 Apâthum e teh Zakkur, a capanaw hoi a hmaunawnghanaw 12 touh dawk a bo.

the third [to] Zaccur, his sons and his brethren, twelve;

11 Apali e teh Izri hoi a capa hoi a hmaunawnghanaw 12 touh dawk a bo.

the fourth to Izri, his sons and his brethren, twelve;

12 Apanga e teh Nethaniah hoi a capa hoi a hmaunawnghanaw 12 touh dawk a bo.

the fifth [to] Nethaniah, his sons and his brethren, twelve;

13 Ataruk e teh Bukkiah hoi a capa hoi a hmaunawnghanaw 12 touh dawk a bo.

the sixth [to] Bukkiah, his sons and his brethren, twelve;

14 Asari e teh Jesharelah hoi a capa hoi a hmaunawnghanaw 12 touh dawk a bo.

the seventh [to] Jesharelah, his sons and his brethren, twelve;

15 Ataroe e teh Isaiah hoi a capa hoi a hmaunawnghanaw 12 touh dawk a bo.

the eighth [to] Jeshaiah, his sons and his brethren, twelve;

16 Atako e teh Mattaniah hoi a capa hoi a hmaunawnghanaw 12 touh dawk a bo.

the ninth [to] Mattaniah, his sons and his brethren, twelve;

17 Ahra e teh Shimei hoi a capa hoi a hmaunawnghanaw 12 touh dawk a bo.

the tenth [to] Shimei, his sons and his brethren, twelve:

18 Ahlaibun e teh Azarel hoi a capa hoi a hmaunawnghanaw 12 touh dawk a bo.

eleventh [to] Azareel, his sons and his brethren, twelve;

19 Ahlaikahni e teh Hashabiah hoi a capa hoi a hmaunawnghanaw 12 touh dawk a bo.

the twelfth [to] Hashabiah, his sons and his brethren, twelve;

20 Ahlaikathum e teh Shubael hoi a capa hoi a hmaunawnghanaw 12 touh dawk a bo.

at the thirteenth [to] Shubael, his sons and his brethren, twelve;
