Zechariah 2
1 Keiman kavet kitleh, pasal khat in thiltena molkhat akichoi kamui
And I lifted up eyes my and I saw and there! a man and [was] in hand his a cord of measurement.
2 Hiti chun keiman hoilanga che ding nahim tin ka dong in ahileh aman, “Keima hin Jerusalem hi adung avai itiham tetoh dinga hunga kahi” ati.
And I said where? [are] you going and he said to me to measure Jerusalem to see how much? [is] breadth its and how much? [is] length its.
3 Hiche jou chun keiman ka komma um vantil chu ama komma hung vantil chu kimupi ding in achen ahi.
And there! the angel who was speaking with me [was] going out and an angel another [was] going out to meet him.
4 Vantil khatpa chun aseiye, hungloijin lang hiche gollhangpa komma chun seijin, Jerusalem hi phatkhat leh mipi leh ganchaho hung dimset diu ahindol loudiu ahi, hitia chu mipi tamtah khopi polanga hung cheng diu ahi.
And he said (to him *Q(k)*) run speak to the young man this saying open regions it will remain Jerusalem from [the] multitude of person[s] and livestock in [the] midst of it.
5 Chu teng keima tah in Jerusalem kimvel chu meikong palla ka kolkhum ding ahi tin Pakaiyin aseiye. Chuleh keiman khopi sung chu kaloupina kahi sah ding ahi,” ati.
And I I will be to it [the] utterance of Yahweh a wall of fire all around and glory I will become in [the] middle of it.
6 Pakijin aseiye,” Babylon sahlanga konin hung jamdoh un, nanghohi leiset kol ning lia konna thecheh na hiuve.
Alas! alas! flee from [the] land of [the] north [the] utterance of Yahweh that like [the] four [the] winds of the heavens I have scattered you [the] utterance of Yahweh.
7 Zion mipite hungpot doh uvin, nangho Babylon gamma ana jam lut ho!”
Alas! O Zion escape O inhabitant[s] of [the] daughter of Babylon.
8 Loupi Pathen hatchung nung Pakai chun nangho nachom gamma namite chu doudinga eihinsol ahi, nangho nabolse hochun kei eibolset a kalah ahi. Keiman kakhut hinlam ingting amaho chu kasuhchip ding chuteng asoh houvin amaho achomdiu ahi. Chuteng leh hat chungnung Pakaiyin eihin sol ahi ahet diu ahi tin,
For thus he says Yahweh of hosts after honor he has sent me to the nations who plundered you for the [one who] touches you [is] touching [the] pupil of eye his.
9 Pakaiyin aseiye, Vo khopi hoitah Jerusalem kipah tahin kho asam un, ajeh chu nangho lah a cheng dinga kahung ding ahi.
For here I [am] about to brandish hand my on them and they will be plunder for own slaves their and you will know that Yahweh of hosts he has sent me.
10 Hiche nikho teng chuleh namtamtah in Pakai keima eihin jop diu chuleh amaho chu kamite hidiu ahi. Keima nangho lah a kachen ding chu teng leh hat chungnung Pakaiyin Keima nangho komma eihinsol hi nahetdingu ahi.
Shout for joy and rejoice O daughter of Zion for here I [am] about to come and I will dwell in midst of you [the] utterance of Yahweh.
11 Gamthenga chu Judah gamchu Pakaiyin Ama gam tumbeh a dinga alahkut ding chu leh Jerusalem chu amatah in akhopi dinga alhen kit ding ahi.
And they will join themselves nations many to Yahweh in the day that and they will become for me a people and I will dwell in midst of you and you will know that Yahweh of hosts he has sent me to you.
And he will inherit Yahweh Judah portion his on [the] land of holiness and he will choose again Jerusalem.
13 Pakai angsunga mihem jouse thipbeh chan umhen ajeh chu Amachu amunthenga konna hung kipat doh ding ahitai.
Hush! O all flesh from before Yahweh for he has roused himself from [the] dwelling place of holiness his.
