< Rome 8 >
1 Hitichun, tun Christa Yeshua a hiho (tahsa thua chonlou lhagaova chonho) dingin themmo channa ding aumtapoi.
There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus;
2 Ajehchu nangma Amaa nahitah jeh in, hinna pea Lhagao chun chonset thuneina thinaa kon'a nachamlhat sah ahitai.
for the Spirit's Law-- telling of Life in Christ Jesus--has set me free from the Law that deals only with sin and death.
3 Mose Dan chun eihuhhing jou pouve, ajehchu ichonset nomnau imihinau alhahsam jal jeh ahi. Hijehchun, Danthun atoh joulou chu Pathen in Achapa chang khat eiho tahsa melpua ahin sol'a atohdoh ahitai. Chule hiche tahsa achu Pathen'in eihoa um ichunguva chonset thuneina chu suhbeina dinga Achapa chu kilhaina a apehdoh ahitai.
For what was impossible to the Law--powerless as it was because it acted through frail humanity--God effected. Sending His own Son in a body like that of sinful human nature and as a sacrifice for sin, He pronounced sentence upon sin in human nature;
4 Aman hiche abol chu Danthu in dihna angehna chu eihoa lungna chamkim sahna dinga ahin, eihon ichonset nom nau thua inun louna dingu ahi.
in order that in our case the requirements of the Law might be fully met. For our lives are regulated not by our earthly, but by our spiritual natures.
5 Chonset'in avaihom ho chun chonset thil bou agel jiuvin, hinla Lhagao Theng'in athunun miho chun Lhagao lunglhaina ho agel ding'u ahi.
For if men are controlled by their earthly natures, they give their minds to earthly things. If they are controlled by their spiritual natures, they give their minds to spiritual things.
6 Hijeh chun, nachonset nomnau lungthim chun na-thununuva ahileh thinaa napuilut ding'u ahi. Hinla, Lhagao Theng'in nalungthim'u athunun a ahileh, hinna le lungmonna hiding ahi.
Because for the mind to be given up to earthly things means death; but for it to be given up to spiritual things means Life and peace.
7 Ajehchu chonsetna lungthim hin Pathen adou jinge. Hichu Pathen Danthu toh kikal ahi, chule juijong ajuilou ding ahi.
Abandonment to earthly things is a state of enmity to God. Such a mind does not submit to God's Law, and indeed cannot do so.
8 Hiti ahijeh chun, achonset nomnau lunggel'in athujo miho chun Pathen alunglhai thei louhel dingu ahi.
And those whose hearts are absorbed in earthly things cannot please God.
9 Hinlah nangho nachonset nom nau lungthim in na-thunun'u ahitapoi. Nasung uva Pathen Lhagao achen vangleh nangho Pathen Lhagao chun na-thunun'u ahitai. (chule nahetdiu chu, asunga Christa Lhagaovin chenna a aneilou chengse chu ama a hilou hel ahiuve.)
You, however, are not devoted to earthly, but to spiritual things, if the Spirit of God is really dwelling in you; whereas if any man has not the Spirit of Christ, such a one does not belong to Him.
10 Chule Christa nasung uva cheng ahi, hijeh a chu chonset jeh in natahsau thiding hijong leh, Lhagao chun hinna napeh u ahi ajeh chu Pathen a kisudih nahi tauve.
But if Christ is in you, though your body must die because of sin, yet your spirit has Life because of righteousness.
11 Yeshua athi lah a kon'a kaithoupa Pathen Lhagao nasung uva chenga ahitai. Chule Pathen in Christa Yeshua chu athia kona akaithou banga, nasung uva Lhagao um Ama chu amanchah a natahsau thithei chu Hinna apeh ding ahi.
And if the Spirit of Him who raised up Jesus from the dead is dwelling in you, He who raised up Christ from the dead will give Life also to your mortal bodies because of His Spirit who dwells in you.
12 Hijehchun sopi deitahte, nachonset lung ngaichat'u thua nunna dingin imacha a mopohna nakilah dingu aumpoi.
Therefore, brethren, it is not to our lower natures that we are under obligation that we should live by their rule.
13 Ajehchu chonset thua nanun le nathi teiding ahi. Hinlah Lhagao Theng thahatna jal'a nachonset lungngaichat chu natha vangleh nahin ding ahi.
For if you so live, death is near; but if, through being under the sway of the spirit, you are putting your old bodily habits to death, you will live.
14 Ajeh chu Pathen Lhagao puihoiya umjouse chu Pathen chate ahiuve.
For those who are led by God's Spirit are, all of them, God's sons.
15 Hijehchun nangho Lhagao nachan'u chun kichatsetna soh channa nasou ahipoi. Chusang'in Pathen Lhagao changa nahiuvin, hiche jal'a chu chapa-lamthu hina nachan'u ahitai. Hitia chu, tua eihon Ama chu Abba Hepa tia ikouvu ahitai.
You have not for the second time acquired the consciousness of being--a consciousness which fills you with terror. But you have acquired a deep inward conviction of having been adopted as sons--a conviction which prompts us to cry aloud, "Abba! our Father!"
16 Ajehchu Ama Lhagao le eiho lhagao akijopmat chun Pathen chate ihiu aphotchen ahitai.
The Spirit Himself bears witness, along with our own spirits, to the fact that we are children of God;
17 Chule eiho Achate ihitah jeh uva goulo ding jong ihitauve. Tahbeh in, Christa to Pathen loupina chu lokhom ding ihitauve. Hinla eihon aloupina ichan khompi dingu ahileh, agimthoh jong hi ichankhompi dingu ahi.
and if children, then heirs too--heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ; if indeed we are sharers in Christ's sufferings, in order that we may also be sharers in His glory.
18 Tupet'a ithohgim nau hi khonunga Aman ahin phondoh ding loupina chutoh tekah thei ahipoi.
Why, what we now suffer I count as nothing in comparison with the glory which is soon to be manifested in us.
19 Ajehchu thilsem jouse hin khonunga hung lhung ding, Pathen chateho kiphondoh nading nikho chu kinemtah'a ngah jing'a um'u ahi.
For all creation, gazing eagerly as if with outstretched neck, is waiting and longing to see the manifestation of the sons of God.
20 Thilsem jouse hi ama lungdeilou lam'a Pathen gaosapna chang ahitauve. Ahin kinem tah'a,
For the Creation fell into subjection to failure and unreality (not of its own choice, but by the will of Him who so subjected it).
21 thilsem hohin Pathen chate thina leh amonmang thei a kon chamlhatna loupia ahinkhom nading'u nikho chu galdot jing ahiuve.
Yet there was always the hope that at last the Creation itself would also be set free from the thraldom of decay so as to enjoy the liberty that will attend the glory of the children of God.
22 Ajehchu eihon athilsem jouse ngahlel a, naosonat thoh tobanga penga tuchan geiya um uva ahi, ti iheuve.
For we know that the whole of Creation is groaning together in the pains of childbirth until this hour.
23 Chule eiho atahsan ho jong isunggil uva Lhagaotheng inei jaluva khonunga loupina hung lhung ding galdot'a ihiuve. Ajehchu, eiho itahsau hi chonset le gimthohna a kona ontholna imu diu kinem'a ngah a ihiuve. Eiho jengin jong kinepna neija Pathen in Acha-lamthute hina a ngansena lhingset tahsaa vouthah eithutep'u jong ngah a ihiuve.
And more than that, we ourselves, though we possess the Spirit as a foretaste and pledge of the glorious future, yet we ourselves inwardly sigh, as we wait and long for open recognition as sons through the deliverance of our bodies.
24 Eiho huhhing'a i-um'u hin hiche kinepna hi eipeh-u ahi (eihon ineisau ipi ham khat chu mudinga kinem ihipouve).
It is in hope that we have been saved. But an object of hope is such no longer when it is present to view; for when a man has a thing before his eyes, how can he be said to hope for it?
25 Hinlah eihon ipiham khat ineilouvu chu ngah a ihiuleh eihon thoh hattah le kinem'a ingadiu ahi.
But if we hope for something which we do not see, then we eagerly and patiently wait for it.
26 Chule Lhagaotheng chun eiho ilhahsamnauva eipanhu jinguve. Avetsahnan, eihon adoltah a Pathen'a iti itao diu eideipeh uchu ihepouve. Hinlah Lhagao Theng hi eiho dingin athuchenga seitheilouvin apeng peng'in taopehna eineiyun ahi.
In the same way the Spirit also helps us in our weakness; for we do not know what prayers to offer nor in what way to offer them. But the Spirit Himself pleads for us in yearnings that can find no words,
27 Chule lunggel jouse hesoh a Pa chun, Lhagaovin athusei chu ahen ahi, ajehchu Lhagao chun atahsan eiho dingin Pathen lunglam chuto kitoh dingin eithumpeh uve.
and the Searcher of hearts knows what the Spirit's meaning is, because His intercessions for God's people are in harmony with God's will.
28 Chule Pathen in Ama ngailuho le Ama lunggon a akouho dingin imalam jousea aphatna dingu abolpeh ahi, ti iheuve.
Now we know that for those who love God all things are working together for good--for those, I mean, whom with deliberate purpose He has called.
29 Ajeh iham itileh Pathen in Amite ahet masah ahi, chule hichu Ama asopite lah a apeng masapen ahitheina ding hunghia ahitai.
For those whom He has known beforehand He has also pre-destined to bear the likeness of His Son, that He might be the Eldest in a vast family of brothers;
30 Chuin Aman amaho alhendoh jouvin, amaho chu akoma akouvin ahi, chule Aman akou jouvin amaho chu Amato dinmun thakhat'in asem'in, chule dinmun thakhat'a asem ho chu Aloupina jong apetai.
and those whom He has pre-destined He also has called; and those whom He has called He has also declared free from guilt; and those whom He has declared free from guilt He has also crowned with glory.
31 Hitobang loma kidangtah thil abol thudol hi ipi isei dingu hitam? Pathen chu eiho lama apanle koi eiho dou dia pang thei ding ham?
What then shall we say to this? If God is on our side, who is there to appear against us?
32 Aman a-Chapa tahbeh bon chu khen dehlouva, chusanga eiho jouse dinga eihungpeh doh jengtah uva ahileh, thildang jouse jong eipehlou dingu ham?
He who did not withhold even His own Son, but gave Him up for all of us, will He not also with Him freely give us all things?
33 Pathen in Amite alhendoh ho dinga chu koiyin themmo eichan ngam dingu ham? Koimacha umlou ahi; Ajehchu Pathen Amatah in kichamna einabol peh-u ahitai.
Who shall impeach those whom God has chosen? God declares them free from guilt.
34 Chuti ahileh koiyin themmo eichan tauvintem? Koima cha umlou, ajehchu Christa Yeshua eiho din anathin chule thina a kon'in eiho dingin athoudohtai, chule Ama Pathen jetlam jabolna mun'a atouvin, eiho dingin eithumpeh jinguve.
Who is there to condemn them? Christ Jesus died, or rather has risen to life again. He is also at the right hand of God, and is interceding for us.
35 Christa ngailutna'a kona eikhenthei dingu aumdem? Eihon hahsatna ahilouleh settona ahilouleh gimbolna ahilouleh gilkelna ahilouleh kiphahsamna ahilouleh settona ahilouleh thichan geiya gihsalna ho itou hin, Aman eingailu tapouve tia isei dingu ham?
Who shall separate us from Christ's love? Shall affliction or distress, persecution or hunger, nakedness or danger or the sword?
36 (Pathen lekhabun asei dung juiyin, “Ajehchu nangma jal'in niseh in eikithat un, keiho hi kelngoi bangin eikithat jiuve,” ati).
As it stands written in the Scripture, "For Thy sake they are, all day long, trying to kill us. We have been looked upon as sheep destined for slaughter."
37 Achutipoi. Hicheho jouse chungvuma chun ei hon galjona loupitah, eingailupau Christa jal'in ineithei tauve.
Yet amid all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who has loved us.
38 Chule keiman kigel lhahna kicheh kanei hi, koimachan Pathen ngailutna'a kona eikhen theilou ding ahitai. Thina hihen, hinna hijongleh, vantilte hihen, lhagao engseho hijongleh, imachan eikhen theilou ding ahi, tia dettah a katahsan ahitai.
For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither the lower ranks of evil angels nor the higher, neither things present nor things future, nor the forces of nature,
39 Chunga Van mun'a thaneina hihen, leichunga hijongleh-tahbeh a sei dingin, thilsem jouse lah a imachan Pathen ngailutna'a kona eikhen theilou dingu ahi tihi i-Pakaiyu Christa Yeshua a kiphongdoh a ahitai.
nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God which rests upon us in Christ Jesus our Lord.
