< Rome 2 >
1 Nangman hitobang miho chu themmo chan theiya lom ahi nati; hinla nangma tah hitobang maa chu phalouva nahi, hichea hin them nachanna ding aumpoi. Nangman amaho agilou le gimbolna chang dinga lom ahiuve, natina a chu nangma tah kithemmo chan nahitai. Ajeh chu, nangma midang thutan'a panga chun hitobangma chu nabol'in ahi.
For this reason, O man, each one of you who judges is inexcusable. For by that which you judge another, you condemn yourself. For you do the same things that you judge.
2 Chule eima hon Pathen Thutandih ahinaa chutobang bol ho chu koi hijongleh achungthu atanding ahi, ti iheuve.
For we know that the judgment of God is in accord with truth against those who do such things.
3 Nangman midang hochu hiche ho aboljeh'uva athu-u natan'a ahileh, chutobang ma a nangman nabol jeh a Pathen in nachung thu atan dinga kon'in hoidoh nange tia nakigel ham?
But, O man, when you judge those who do such things as you yourself also do, do you think that you will escape the judgment of God?
4 Nangman Pathen itobang tah a nachunga lungset them, thohhat le lung dehat hiya ham tihi hedoh louva nahim? Hichehi, ima hilouva nagel nahlai ham? Nangman hitobang lungsetna hi nachonset lung khelna ding ahi, ti mudoh loulai nahim?
Or do you despise the riches of his goodness and patience and forbearance? Do you not know that the kindness of God is calling you to repentance?
5 Hinlah nangma nalungtah a, chule nachonsetna kona nalung nahei louva ahileh, nangman lunghanna chu nakikhol khom ahitai. Ajehchu, Pathen thutan dihna alunghanna nikho chu hung lhung ding ahiye.
But in accord with your hard and impenitent heart, you store up wrath for yourself, unto the day of wrath and of revelation by the just judgment of God.
6 Pathen in amichang cheh chu athilbol totoh'a athu-u atan ding ahinalaiye.
For he will render to each one according to his works:
7 Aman thilpha bol'a pontho a lungdehat ho, chule loupina le jabolna chule thithei louna Pathen in agonpeh holjing ho, chu tonsot hinna apeh ding ahi. (aiōnios )
To those who, in accord with patient good works, seek glory and honor and incorruption, certainly, he will render eternal life. (aiōnios )
8 Ahivangin, Aman kichang khohsah a kichamsah ho, thutah thua nunglou ho chule chonphatlou thua nung ho chu achunguva alungsatna le alunghanna chuding ahi.
But to those who are contentious and who do not acquiesce to the truth, but instead trust in iniquity, he will render wrath and indignation.
9 Thilse bol miho chunga chu hesoh genthei le lungdonna khohtah chu amasa a Judah mite chunga chua chule aban'a chidang namdangte chunga lhung ding ahi.
Tribulation and anguish are upon every soul of man that works evil: the Jew first, and also the Greek.
10 Hinlah thilpha bol ho jouse chunga chu loupina le jabolna chule cham-lungmonna chu Pathen'a kon'a hung ding ahi, Judah mite masan tin chule chidang namdang ho hiding ahi.
But glory and honor and peace are for all who do what is good: the Jew first, and also the Greek.
11 Ajeh chu Pathen hin maipha avepoi.
For there is no favoritism with God.
12 Chidang namdangte chu achonset tenguleh Pathen Danthu kijih aneilou'u ahi vang'in, Danthu beiya kisumang ding ahiuve. Chule Judah mite Pathen Danthu neiho chu hiche Dan thu ajui lou nauva chu athu-u kitan ding ahi.
For whoever had sinned without the law, will perish without the law. And whoever had sinned in the law, will be judged by the law.
13 Ajeh chu Danthu moh ngailhah mai mai hin Pathen themchanna eisodoh peh dingu ahipoi. Danthu jui'a bolteho bou chu Amit mua chonpha eihisah dingu ahibouve.
For it is not the hearers of the law who are just before God, but rather it is the doers of the law who shall be justified.
14 Pathen Danthu kijih neilou chidang namdangte jeng'in bon apenpiu a-lungthim'u Danthua anungun, Danthu ajahkhahlou vang'un, amaho le amahon Danthu akisem'un ahi.
For when the Gentiles, who do not have the law, do by nature those things which are of the law, such persons, not having the law, are a law unto themselves.
15 Amahon alung sunguva Danthu natoh kisim ahi chu asulang'un ahi, ajehchu selepha hetna alungthimun ahettohsah-u ahi. Chutichun, amaho le amaho lunggel chun themmo sahna ahilouleh them chansahna aumsah uvin ahi.
For they reveal the work of the law written in their hearts, while their conscience renders testimony about them, and their thoughts within themselves also accuse or even defend them,
16 Chule thuhil kiseiphong le chu hiche hi ahi; Pathen in Yeshua Christa amanchah a, amichang cheh hinkho thuguh atanding nikho chu hung um ding ahi.
unto the day when God shall judge the hidden things of men, through Jesus Christ, according to my Gospel.
17 Nangho Judah mia kiseiya Pathen Danthua kinem nahiuvin, chule Amatoh kiguijopna phatah neija kisonna nei nahiuve.
But if you are called by name a Jew, and you rest upon the law, and you find glory in God,
18 Alungdeilam naheuvin, Adanthua kihil'a nahi jeh uva, adih ipi ahi chu nahet-u ahitai.
and you have known his will, and you demonstrate the more useful things, having been instructed by the law:
19 Nangma mitcho lamhil'a panga chule muthim lah a lamvaiho khomusah dinga kigel'a nahi.
you become confident within yourself that you are a guide to the blind, a light to those who are in darkness,
20 Nangman michinglou ho chihsah a chule chapang ho Pathen henglam jotna hiltheiya kigel'ah nahi. Ajeh chu Pathen Danthu hetna bulhingset le thutah hetna neiyin nakingaiton ahi.
an instructor to the foolish, a teacher to children, because you have a type of knowledge and truth in the law.
21 Chuti ahileh midang hil'ah nangma, nangma tah kihil louva nahim? Nangman midang guhchat louding natia nangman naguhji ham?
As a result, you teach others, but you do not teach yourself. You preach that men should not steal, but you yourself steal.
22 Nangman jonbol adihpoi natia, hinla nangman jon nabol em? Nangman milim hou themmo nachan'a, hinla nangman milim houna kon'a kigudoh thil ho namanchah em?
You speak against adultery, but you commit adultery. You abominate idols, but you commit sacrilege.
23 Nangman Danthu nahet nakiletsahpi lheh jengin, hinla, nangman Danthu napalkeh jeh in Pathen jalou nahi.
You would glory in the law, but through a betrayal of the law you dishonor God.
24 Pathen thun asei, “Nangho jeh in chidang namdang hon Pathen min ataitomuve,” kiti hi datmo hih un.
(For because of you the name of God is being blasphemed among the Gentiles, just as it was written.)
25 Judah mite chonna ngai cheptan hi Pathen Danthu ahi tia najui lebou naphatchompi ding ahi. Hinlah nangman Pathen Danthu chu najui louva ahileh cheptanlou chidang namdang ho sanga naphat chompina joh aum dehpoi.
Certainly, circumcision is beneficial, if you observe the law. But if you are a betrayer of the law, your circumcision becomes uncircumcision.
26 Chule chidang namdang ho chun Pathen Danthu ajuiyuva ahileh Pathen in amaho chu Amitea aphondoh lou dingu ham?
And so, if the uncircumcised keep the justices of the law, shall not this lack of circumcision be counted as circumcision?
27 Tahbeh mongin, cheptan louchidang namdang Pathen Danthu juiho chun nangho Judah mi cheptanho chule Pathen Danthu neiho hijongleu chun najuilounau chun themmo nahin chanlou ding'u ham?
And that which is by nature uncircumcised, if it fulfills the law, should it not judge you, who by the letter and by circumcision are a betrayer of the law?
28 Ajeh chu nangma Judah mi hina atahbeh chu nule pa akon'a peng nahi jeh, ahilouleh cheptan chonna chu najui jeh a nahi ahipoi.
For a Jew is not he who seems so outwardly. Neither is circumcision that which seems so outwardly, in the flesh.
29 Judah mi tahbeh chu alung put Pathen mitvet'a dih a ahije. Chule cheptan dihtah jong chu Danthu kijih jui mai mai chu ahipoi. Chusangin, Pathen Lhagaova kon'a alunggel kikhel na ahinsodoh ahibouve. Chule alunggel kikhel chun miho pachat ding hollouvin, Pathen vahchoina asoding chu aholjoh ding ahi.
But a Jew is he who is so inwardly. And circumcision of the heart is in the spirit, not in the letter. For its praise is not of men, but of God.
