< Rome 12 >
1 Chule hiti chun sopi deitahte, kahin ngeh nahiuve, Pathen in ijakai nabolpehtah jeh uvin Amadin natahsau chu peuvin. Hichu ahing chule athengsel kilhaina–Pathen santhei dol tah hihen. Hiche hi adihlam'a Ama houtheina chu ahi.
I entreat you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies to Him as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God. This is your reasonable service of worship.
2 Nanghon tulai vannoi chonna le umchan khosahna ho jom hih-un, ahin Pathen'in mithah hina lungthah napeu henlang nalunggel ngaitonau khel hen. Chutengleh Pathen in nangho dinga apha le lunglhaina chule chamkimna nagonpeh-u chu nahin het ding'u ahi. (aiōn )
And be not conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your minds, so that you may prove what is the good and acceptable and perfect will of God. (aiōn )
3 Pathen in chanpha le thuneina eipeh jal a hiche thua hi kahilchah nahiuve: Nangho nahina tahbeh-u kalval'in phajon kigel hih-un. Nangho tah nakigel nauva Pathen in tahsan eipeh dung juiyun ahibepchan kigel'un.
For, through the grace that was given to me, I tell every man among you not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but so to think, as to think soberly, according to the measure of faith which God has given him.
4 Itahsauvin tibah tampi anei cheh in chule tibah khatcheh in panna aneicheh-un ahi.
For even as we have many members in one body, and not all members have the same function;
5 Hitobangma chun Christa tipum jong chutima ahi. Eiho tipum khat chung'a tibah tampi ihiu ahin, chule eiho ibonchauva khat cheh hi khat tibah ihiu ahi.
so we, who are many, are one body in Christ, and we are severally members of one another.
6 Alungsetna'a Pathen in thilpeh jatchom chom cheh eipeh-u ahin, hichu phatah a iboltheina dingu ahi. Hijeh a chu Pathen in gao thusei theina napeh a ahileh, Pathen in napeh tahsan nanei dungjuiyin seijin.
But we have gifts differing according to the grace which was given to us. He that has the gift of prophecy, let him prophesy according to the proportion of his faith.
7 Lhagao thilpeh nachan chu midang kithopina dinga ahileh, phatah in kithopinan bol'in. Nangma mihil'a napanleh, phatah in hil'in.
If it is the gift of administration, let us give ourselves to our service.
8 Lhagao thilpeh nachan chu midang tilkhouna ahileh, tilkhouvin; hongphalna lama thilpeh nachan ahileh hongphal tah in pedoh in. Pathen in lamkai hina boltheina napeh leh, namopohna chu gelkhohna neijin. Chule nangma milungset themna thilpeh nachan'a ahileh kipah tah in bol'in.
Let the teacher give himself to his teaching; and he who exhorts others to his exhortation. He who gives, let him do it in singleness of mind. He who rules, let him rule with diligence; and he who shows mercy must be cheerful.
9 Midang chu angailu tobang bep'in umhih'un, ngailutahbeh uvin. Adihlou chu thetbol'un, thutah chu kolchah kheh-un.
Let love be without insincerity. Abhor what is evil; wed yourselves to what is good.
10 Nangho khat le khat kingailutna dihtah in kihepito them'un, chule khat le khat kijabolna thanop piuvin.
As for brotherly love, be tenderly affectionate one to another, in honor preferring one another.
11 Thase hihbeh un, ahin natoh ponthouvin chule Pakai kinbol chu thanopnan neiyun.
In your diligence be free from sloth. Be glowing in spirit. Slave for the master.
12 Ama a ikinepnauva kipah thanom'un. Hahsatna a thoh hat-un, chule taojom jing'un.
Rejoice in hope; be patient under affliction; continue stedfast in prayer.
13 Pathen mite ngaichatna a kithopina neiyun. Jindot them dan kichuh jinguvin.
Be liberal to needy saints. Practise hospitality.
14 Nabolse teu chu phattheiboh un. Amaho chu gaosap hih un, Pathen in phatthei abohna dingin taopeh un.
Bless your persecutors, bless, and curse not.
15 Akipahho kipapiuvin, chule akap ho kapiuvin.
Rejoice with those who rejoice, and weep with those who weep.
16 Khat le khat kitoh del'in cheng khomun. Milham hotoh kiloikhomna neina dinga kiletsah hoitho bolhih un. Chule ijakai hesoh keiyin kigel hih un.
Have full sympathy with one another. Set not your minds on high affairs, but associate with lowly folk. Do not be wise in your own conceits.
17 Miphalou chu aphalou cheh a lethuh hih un, nangho ja umtah nahiu chu mijousen amuna dingin bolun.
Do not pay back evil for evil. Aim to do what is honorable in the eyes of all.
18 Nabol jouseu chu amichang cheh to kichamna dingin bol'un.
If it be possible, so far as it lies with you, be at peace with all men.
19 Gol lepaite, phuba lah bol hih'un, Pathen dihtah lung hanna chu otdoh jouvin. Ajehchu Pathen thubu in, “Keiman phuba kalah ding ahi. Keiman amaho chu lethuh nange” ati.
Never revenge yourself, beloved, but leave the field clear for God’s wrath; for it is written, "Vengeance is mine, I will repay," says the Lord.
20 Chusangin, “Namelmateu chu agil akelleh vahva set-un, amaho adang'u achah leh adon ding peuvin. Hitia chu naboluva ahileh alujanguva mei-am setkhompeh nahi dingu ahi.”
On the contrary, therefore, If your enemy is hungry, feed him; if he is thirsty, give him drink; for by so doing you will be heaping burning coals on his head.
21 Setna chun najou hih uhen, hinla setna chu thilpha in jou jouvin.
Do not be overcome by evil, but be overcoming evil with good.
