< Revelation 8 >
1 Kelngoinou chun sinkhana sagi lhinna lekha jol chu alhap a ahileh van mun pumpia nidan keh khat tobang chu athip chettai.
When the Lamb broke the seventh seal, there was silence in Heaven for about half an hour.
2 Chuin Pathen masanga ding jing vantil sagi ho chu kamun chule amaho chu sumkon sagi akipen ahi.
Then I saw the seven angels who are in the presence of God, and seven trumpets were given to them.
3 Chutah chun vantil chomkhat gimnamtwi halna sanabom kichoiyah ahungin, chuin maicham muna chun adingin ahi. Chule gimnamtwi tamtah chu Pathen mite taona chuto haltha a sana maicham muna laltouna maiya sunlhah dingin ama chu akipen ahi.
And another angel came and stood close to the altar, carrying a censer of gold; and abundance of incense was given to him that he might place it with the prayers of all God's people upon the golden altar which was in front of the throne.
4 Gimnamtwi kihalna meikhu chu Pathen mithengte taona chuto maichama vantil chun asunlhahna muna konin Pathen koma akaltouvin, alhungtai.
And the smoke of the incense rose into the presence of God from the angel's hand, and mingled with the prayers of His people.
5 Chutah in vantil chun gimnamtwi kihalna boma chun maichama mei chu akoilut'in chuin leiset chunga aseplhai; chutah chun aw tampi ahung gingin, van aginglul lulin, kol aphejap jap'in chule lingpi tijat umtah chu akihot'in ahi.
So the angel took the censer and filled it with fire from the altar and flung it to the earth; and there followed peals of thunder, and voices, and flashes of lightning, and an earthquake.
6 Chuphat in vantil sagi chun asumkon cheh u chu gingtah a mutcheh dingin akigo tauve.
Then the seven angels who had the seven trumpets made preparations for blowing them.
7 Vantil akhatna chun asumkon amut in ahileh gelchang le meikou thisanto kihal chu leiset chunga ahung kisep lhatai. Leiset hop-thum'a hop-khat meiyin akatai, thingho hop-thum'a hop-khat akalhan, chule hamhing jouse jong hop-thum'a hop-khat akavamtai.
The first blew his trumpet; and there came hail and fire, mixed with blood, falling upon the earth; and a third part of the earth was burnt up, and a third part of the trees and all the green grass.
8 Chujouvin vantil nina in asumkon amut'in ahileh, meikou moul lentah tobang chu twikhanglen'a akilehlut tai. Hiti chun twikhanglen'a twi chu hop-thum'a hop-khat thisan akisohtai.
The second angel blew his trumpet; and what seemed to be a great mountain, all ablaze with fire, was hurled into the sea; and a third part of the sea was turned into blood.
9 Hiti chun twikhanglen'a hinna nei jouse hop-thum'a hop-khat athigam tai, chule twikhanglen'a konglen jouse jong hop-thum'a hop-khat akisuse gamtai.
And a third part of the creatures that were in the sea--those that had life--died; and a third part of the ships were destroyed.
10 Chuphat in vantil thumna chun asumkon chu amut in ahileh ahsi lentah khat vana konin ahung lenglhan, kolphemeivah tobang'in asal jenge. Hichu vadung ho chunga le twinah ho hop-thum'a hop-khat chunga achun ahi.
The third angel blew his trumpet; and there fell from Heaven a great star, which was on fire like a torch. It fell upon a third part of the rivers and upon the springs of water.
11 Ahsi min chu akha akiti. Hichun twi hopthum a hop-khat akhatsah in, chule twi akhat jeh chun adon ho atama tam athitauve.
The name of the star is 'Wormwood;' and a third part of the waters were turned into wormwood, and vast numbers of the people died from drinking the water, because it had become bitter.
12 Chujouvin vantil-lina chun asumkon chu amut in ahileh Nisa chu hop-thum'a hop-khat, Lha chu hop-thum'a hop-khat, chule Ahsi ho jong hop-thum'a hop-khat chengse chu abonun athimtai. Chule nikho jong chu hop-thum'a hop-khat athimtan ahi. Chule jan jong hop-thum'a hop-khat chu athimtai.
Then the fourth angel blew his trumpet; and a curse fell upon a third part of the sun, a third part of the moon, and a third part of the stars, so that a third part of them were darkened and for a third of the day, and also of the night, there was no light.
13 Chujouvin keiman kaven, chule mulaopi khat huilah a alengle chun alenpumin gingleng lungin ahinsamin: “Vantil thum achaina hon asumkonu ahinmut tenguleh hiche vannoiya chengho dingin tijat aume, tijat aume, tijat aume,” ati.
Then I looked, and I heard a solitary eagle crying in a loud voice, as it flew across the sky, "Alas, alas, alas, for the inhabitants of the earth, because of the significance of the remaining trumpets which the three angels are about to blow!"
