< Revelation 18 >

1 Hicheng jouse nung chun keiman vantil chomkhat vana kon'a thuneitah'a ahung kum lhah kamun, chule leiset chu avah in asaljengin ahi.
And after these things I saw another agent coming down out of heaven having great authority, and the earth was illuminated from his glory.
2 Ama chun aw gingtah in asam in: “Babylon chu achimtai, Khopi lentah chu achimtai! Ama lhagao phalou chenna ahung hitai. Ama lhagao namse ho kiselna mun ahung hin, muthong namse ho kiselna mun ahung hin chule anamse le kichat umsa-ho umna mun ahitai.
And he cried out in a mighty voice, saying, Babylon the great has fallen, has fallen, and became a habitation of demons, and a hold of every unclean spirit, and a hold of every unclean and hated bird.
3 Ajeh chu chitin namtin vaipi chu amanu jonthan hoina lung ngaichatnaa chonchatvaina ju'a alhutai. Vannoi lengho amanutoh ajong khomun ahi. Amanu nopsahval a kon'a vannoi leiset sumkol veiho haodoh gam'a ahitauve,” ati.
Because all the nations have drunk from the wine of the wrath of her fornication. And the kings of the earth fornicated with her, and the merchants of the earth became rich from the power of her wantonness.
4 Chutah in keiman aw chomkhat vanna konin kajai, “Kamite, amanua konin hungdoh un, amanu chonsetnaho chu kikoppi hih un, achuti louva ahileh amanutoh gimbolna nathoh khom diu ahi.
And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out from her, my people, so that ye may not participate with her sins, and that ye may not receive from her plagues.
5 Ajeh chu amanu chonsetna ho chu van sang in asangin, chule Pathen in amanu thilse bolho chu ageldoh in ahi.
Because her sins have reached as far as heaven, and God has remembered her iniquities.
6 Amanun michunga abolna tobang'in achunga boluvin, athilse bolho jeh in ajatnin lethuh un. Aman midang dingin kichatna ju'a kisem chol jaona chu khon-a ahaltai, hiti chun amadingin chan-ni akisemben ahi.
Render to her as she also rendered to you, and double to her two-fold according to her works. In the cup that she mixed, mix two-fold for her.
7 Ama akichoi sanga chule kinom sahtah'a hinkho amanjeh chun, tun atotoh dingin gimthohsahna le lunghemna lhutpeh un. Amanu hin alungsunga kithang atna neitah in, keima kalaltouna a lengnu kahi, keima hi panpibei meithai kahihih in, hitia chu keima kalunghemna ding aumpoi, ati.
In an amount she glorified herself and lived wantonly, give her so much torment and grief, because she says in her heart, I sit a queen, and am no widow, and will, no, not see grief.
8 Hijeh a chu hiche gamna hoise ho hin, nikhat sunga ahinphah ding–thina le lunghemna chule kel'in ahinphah ding ahi. Amanu hi meiyin akahvamhel ding ahi, ijeh ham itileh Pakai Pathen amanu thutanpa chu hatchungnung ahi,” ati.
Because of this her plagues will come in one day, death, and grief, and famine. And she will be utterly burned with fire, because strong is the Lord, the God who judged her.
9 Chule vannoi lengho amanu jonpiho le ama kinomsahna thanoppi ho chun amanu kigona meikhu kitungdoh chu amu tenguleh alung hempi diu ahi.
And the kings of the earth who fornicated and lived wantonly with her, will weep and will beat their breasts for her when they see the smoke of her burning,
10 Amaho chu gamlatah a ding'uva amanu thohgim chu tijatah'a avet diu ahi. Amaho chun ahinsapdoh uva, “Iti gimneiya nagimnei hitam! Vo Babylon, khopi lentah nu! Phat khatsung sehseh in Pathen thutanna nachunga alhung jenge,” ati diu ahi.
having stood from afar because of the fear of her torment, saying, Alas, alas, the great city, Babylon, the mighty city! Because thy judgment has come in one hour.
11 Vannoiya kiveimiho chu hungkap uva chule alunghem pidiu ahi, ijeh ham itileh athilhou chodinga koima akidalha aumtapoi.
And the merchants of the earth will weep and mourn for her, because no man buys their merchandise any more,
12 Amanu hin sana, dangka, khisong mantam, twikoh chang, tupatponnem, ponsandup, lungpon, chule ponsanthip, thinga kisem gimnamtwi, saihaa kisem thil ho, thingmantam'a kisem thilho, sum eng, thih, chule songval-a kisem kong le bel hicheng hohi atam'a tam ana choh ahi.
merchandise of gold, and silver, and precious stone, and pearl, and fine linen, and purple, and silk, and scarlet, and all thyine wood, and every ivory vessel, and every vessel of most precious wood, and of brass, and iron, and marble,
13 Amanu hin thingthal, amui-al, thingnai, thao anamtui, bego, lengpitwi, olive thao, changbong, suhlouchang, bong le kelngoi, sakol le sakol kangtalai, chule mihem soh'a kivul ho chengse jong hi anachohdoh ahi.
and cinnamon, and incense, and ointment, and frankincense, and wine, and olive oil, and fine flour, and wheat, and sheep, and cattle, and horses, and chariots, and bodies and souls of men.
14 “Thil mantam nangman nangailut lheh jengho jong chu amangthah in, na kinomsah na le na loupina ho jong a-itih'a din amangthah tai,” tia asap diu ahi.
And the fruit of the lust of thy soul have departed from thee. And all the fat and bright things are destroyed from thee. And thou will, no, not find them any more.
15 Kivei miho, amanu koma hicheng thil joh ho chu gamlatah a ding diu, athohgimna khoh chungnung chu atijat pilheh jeng diu ahi. Amaho kap uvintin chule ahin sapdoh diu,
The merchants of these things who became rich from her will stand from afar because of the fear of her torment, weeping and mourning,
16 “Chuche khopi lenchungnung dinga tijat iti um hitam! Amanu hin ponsandup le ponsanthip tonjih ponnem hoipen pen akisila, hitia chu sana le songmantama, chule twikohchanga kijem'a ahi.”
and saying, Alas, alas, the great city, which was clothed in fine linen and purple and scarlet, and adorned with gold and precious stone and pearls!
17 “Mitphet kahlouvin khopi haona jouse chu amahthah jenge!” Chule kiveina konglen tol lamkaiho le asunga touho jouse chule atol-a panghole avesuiya pang jouse chu gamlatah a dingdiu ahi.
Because in one hour such great wealth was devastated. And every shipmaster, and every man who sails anywhere, and sailors, and as many as work by sea, stood from afar
18 Amahon avetvetpet uva Meikhu ahung kitundoh phattengleh amahon, “Hiche khopi tobang khopi len chungnung achom dang khat hoiya uma hitam!” ati diu ahi.
and cried out seeing the smoke of her burning, saying, What is like the great city?
19 Chutia amaho kap diu chule alunghemnau vetsahna a aluchunguva vutvai atheuva, chule hung pengdoh jeng diu, “Chuche khopi lenchungnung dinga itobang tah a tijat um hitam! Konglen neiho chu ahaona thil ho twikhanglen'a polea apanjeh uva hung haodoh uva ahin, tun mitphet kahlouvin amahthah jenge,” atiuvin ahi.
And they cast dust on their heads, and cried out, weeping and mourning, and saying, Alas, alas, the great city in which all who had ships in the sea became rich from her luxuriance! Because in one hour she was devastated.
20 Amanu chan chunga khun kipah uvin, Vanin, Pathen miten, solchah hole themgao ho chengsen. Ijeh inem itileh nangho jal in, anunung penah Pathen in amanu chungthu atantai.
Be glad over her, thou heaven, and the sanctified, and the apostles, and the prophets, because God has decreed your judgment of her.
21 Chujouchun vantil hattah khat chun songtum khat sumhei tebep alan, hichu twikhanglen'a alehlut in chuin ahinsamin, “Hiche tobang banga hi Babylon khopi chungnung chu hoisetah'a suhchim hung hiding chule kimukit talou ding ahitai,” ati.
And one mighty agent took up a stone like a great millstone and cast it into the sea, saying, Thus in violence Babylon the great city will be thrown down, and will, no, not be found any more.
22 Selangdah kitumgin, lasaho awgin, theilegin, chule sumkon gin hohi nangmaa kon'a kijadoh kit talouhel ding ahitai. Khut them thilbol hole kiveiho nangmaa kimudoh kit talouhel diu ahi. Sumhei changsuh gin nangmaa kijadohkit talou helding ahitai.
And a sound of harpers and minstrels and flute-players and trumpeters will, no, not be heard in thee any more. And every craftsman of every craft will, no, not be found in thee any more. And a sound of a millstone will, no, not be heard in thee any more.
23 Thaomeivah nangmaa kon'a hungvah doh kit talou helding ahitai. Akicheng ding moulang le mounu kipa awgin kijadoh kit talouhel ding ahi. Ijeh ham itileh akivei miho hi vannoiya athupipen ahitauvin, chule nangman chitin namtin chu doihoa nalheplhah gam ahitai.
And the light of a lamp will, no, not shine in thee any more. And a voice of a bridegroom and of a bride will, no, not be heard in thee any more. Because thy merchants were the chief men of the earth, because all the nations were led astray by thy enchantments.
24 Nalamlen lhongpiu ho'ah themgaoho le Pathen mithengte thisan alongin, chule miho kithana thisan chu vannoi muntin'a alonglhan ahi.
And in her was found blood of prophets, and of the sanctified, and of all who have been killed upon the earth.
