< La Bu 94 >
1 O Yahweh Pakai, phulaji Elohim Pathen, O phula ji Elohim Pathen nathutanna dihtah chu loupitah chu hung kilang doh hen.
O God, of vengeance, Lord! O God of vengeance, shine forth.
2 Hungthou doh in, vainoi thutan pa. Mi kiletsah hochu achanding dol u chansah in!
Lift up thyself, O judge of the Earth! bring a recompense upon the proud.
3 Miphalou hohi itih chanpi kipah diuham, ichan gei in em Yahweh Pakai?
How long shall the wicked, O Lord—how long shall the wicked exult?
4 Itih chan kiletsah tah a thu asei diu ham? Hiche migilou hohi itih chanpi kihatsah diu ham?
They sputter, they speak hard things: all the workers of wickedness boast themselves.
5 Yahweh Pakai amahon namite asuchip gamtauve. Nangma mite hohi amahon asugenthei' un ahi.
Thy people, O Lord! they crush, and thy heritage they afflict.
6 Amahon meithai hole gamdang mi chule chaga ho athat gam un ahi.
The widow and the stranger they slay, and the fatherless they murder.
7 Amahon asei un, “Yahweh Pakai in eive pouve chule, Israel Elohim Pathen in anasah poi”.
And they say, The Lord will not see, and the God of Jacob will not take notice of it.
8 Kigel pha kit un, mingol ho! Itihleh tahle nahin hethei diuvem?
Understand, ye brutish among the people: and ye fools, when will ye become intelligent!
9 Na nakol sempa chu a nangong ham? Namit sempau chu amitcho a ham?
He that hath planted the ear, shall he not hear? or he that hath formed the eye, shall he not see?
10 Aman chitin namtinte ana engbol in ahi, nangjong na engbol louding ham? Aman imajouse ahesoh kei in ahi, nangin ipi naboljong ahetsohkei louding ham?
He that admonisheth nations, shall he not correct? is it not he that teacheth man knowledge!
11 Yahweh Pakai in mitin lunggel ahesoh kei e, imacha phatchomna neilou ahi ahesoh kei¬ e.
The Lord knoweth the thoughts of man, that they are nought.
12 Yahweh Pakai, nadanthu a nahil hole nasuhdih ho chu iti kipah u hitam?
Happy is the man whom thou admonisheth, O Lord, and teachest him out of thy law:
13 Migilou te kimat nading leiko tong akilai kah sen nangman amaho chu boina akon in lung ol na nape e.
That thou mayest grant him repose from the days of evil, until the pot be dug for the wicked.
14 Yahweh Pakai in amite nungsun ponte; Aman ami deitumte donlou in koi ponte.
For the Lord will not cast off his people, and his inheritance will he not forsake.
15 Thutan na mun a thudih kimuding chuleh michonpha ho jousen apanhu diu ahi.
For unto righteousness will justice return; and it shall be followed by all the upright in heart.
16 Gitlou na akon a koiham eidal ding? Miphalou ho masang a ei din peh ding koi ham?
Who will rise up for me against evil-doers? or who will stand forward for me against the workers of wickedness?
17 Yahweh Pakai in eina kithopi lou hile, keima thina lhankhuh mun a thipchet a ana kicholdo tading kahi.
Unless the Lord had been a help unto me, but a little would have been wanting that my soul had dwelt in the silence of death.
18 “Keima kalhutai” tin kakap jah in, O Yahweh Pakai nami ngailutna longlou chun eiphong dingin ahi.
When I said, My foot hath slipped: thy kindness, O Lord, sustained me.
19 Keima lungdon na a kadim teng, nami lungmon nachun kinep nale kipa na eipe ji e.
In the multitude of my [painful] thoughts within me, thy consolations delight my soul.
20 Dandih lou a natong lamkai ho chun Yahweh Pakai kalang a pangding hi ati ngam nadiu vem?
Can there be associated with thee the throne of destructive wickedness, which frameth mischief as a law?
21 Themmo nabei ho dou din amaho akipun khom un mona neilou chungah thina chan in athepmo sah uve.
They band themselves together against the soul of the righteous, and innocent blood do they condemn.
22 Ahin Yahweh Pakai, ka Pathen Elohim hi kakisel na songpi kakulpi chu ahi.
But the Lord is become my defence, and my God, the rock of my refuge.
23 Elohim Pathen in migiloute achonset nau chu ale thuh ding ahi. Achonset nau jeh a asuh gam ding ahi. Yahweh Pakai, iPathen uvin asuh gam ding u ahi.
And he will bring back upon them their own injustice, and in their own wickedness will he destroy them: [yea], he will destroy them—the Lord our God.
