1 Thangvah na Yahweh Pakai peh a, chung nungpen vah choi ding hi thil pha ahi.
“A psalm or song for the sabbath day.” It is a good thing to give thanks unto the Lord, and to sing praises unto thy name, O Most High:
2 Jingkah le nami ngailut na longlou sap phong a, nilhah le nakitah na sap phong hi thil pha ahi.
To tell in the morning of thy kindness, and of thy faithfulness in the nights.
3 Tumging jangsom to tho a lyre gin ngai tah to tho dia pha tah ahi.
Upon a ten-stringed instrument, and upon the psaltery; and with the sweet sound of the harp.
4 O Yahweh Pakai nei bol peh thil loupitah hochun kalung lai atong kha in, natohdoh ho jehchun keiman kipa la kasan ahi.
For thou hast caused me to rejoice, O Lord, through thy doing: because of the works of thy hands will I triumph.
5 O Yahweh Pakai nanatohdoh hohi iti loupi hitam! nalunggel ngeito ho jong iti gil a gil jeng hitam.
How great are thy works, O Lord! exceedingly profound are thy thoughts.
6 Mihem mai mai het jou hoi ahipon, chih na a lhasam hon jong hedoh jou pouvin te.
A brutish man knoweth it not, and a fool cannot understand this.
7 Migilou hochu hamhing bangin khangtou'un tin, thilse bolho chu pungthei jong leu, tonsot a suhmanga umdiu ahi.
When the wicked spring up like herbs, and when all the workers of wickedness do flourish; it is that they may be destroyed evermore.
8 Hinla Yahweh Pakai, nangma vang, tonsot a dopsang a naum jing ding ahi.
But thou art exalted to eternity, O Lord!
9 Namel ma te jouse mangthah tei diu ahi; chule gitlou na bol jouse suh chat vai a um diu ahi.
For, lo, thy enemies, O Lord, for, lo, thy enemies shall perish: all the workers of wickedness shall be scattered.
10 Nangin keimahi bongchal bangin neihatdoh sahtan, chuleh nangin kipanan neimalsom tan ahi.
But thou exaltest my horn like that of a reem: I am anointed with fresh oil.
11 Kamit hin kagal mite lhuh amun; kana kol in jong eidou a migiloute gallel na thu ajai.
And my eye looketh on [the punishment of] those that regard me with envy: of the evildoers that rise up against me my ears shall bear it.
12 Michonphate chu chahthing bangin khangtou untin, Lebanon a Cedar thing banga hat tah khangtoudiu ahi.
The righteous shall spring up like the palm-tree: like a cedar in Lebanon shall he grow high.
13 Amahohi Yahweh Pakai inn a kehdoh thingphung likeh ahiuvin, iPathen'u Elohim angsung a khangtouva ahiuve,
Planted in the house of the Lord, in the courts of our God shall they spring up.
14 Teh nung jeng a jong ga aso nalai diu; chuleh phattin'a noujingleh hatjing diu ahi.
They shall still flourish in high old age; they shall be vigorous and covered with foliage;
15 Amahon aphon doh uva hitia hi asei diu ahi, “Yahweh Pakai chu adih jingin! Amachu kasong pi ahi! Ama a chun set na aumpoi!”
To declare that the Lord is upright: he is my rock, and there is no faultiness in him.
