Let my prayer, come into thy presence, Bow down thine ear to my loud cry.
For my soul, is sated with misfortunes, And, my life—unto Hades, hath drawn near; (Sheol h7585)
4 Athisa bang bep kahitai, mithahat tah khat athahat na bei nungsang bep kahitai.
I am counted with them who descend into the pit, I have become as a man that is without help;
5 Amahon mithi lah'a eidalha uvin lhan ah mithi lup'in kalum e. Keima hi suhmil in kaum tai, nami kaihoina a kon in eiki lamang tai.
Among the dead, is my couch, —Like the slain that lie in the grave, Where thou rememberest them no more, Yea, they, from thy hand, are cut off;
6 Nang in kotong noinung pen athim pen ah neison lha e.
Thou hast laid me, In the lowest pit, In dark places, In the deeps:
7 Nalung han na gihtah chun eidelphan, hichu twi kinong bangin akinong'in eichup tai.
Upon me, hath rested thine indignation, And, with all thy breakers, hast thou caused affliction. (Selah)
8 Keima hi doumah in neisem in kagol kapai ho neidelmang peh gamtai. Keima hi thang'ah ka-oh in kitoldoh theilouvin kaum e.
Thou hast far removed mine acquaintances from me, —Thou hast made me an abomination unto them, Shut up, and I cannot go forth!
9 Kamit lhin kamit achupmin kho muthei louvin kaum e. O Yahweh Pakai niseh'in na panpina kathum in nami lungsetna ngaichan kakhut teni kahin sange.
Mine eye, hath dimmed through affliction; I have called upon thee, O Yahweh, all day long, I have spread out, unto thee, my hands.
10 Nathil kidang bol hohi mithi dinga phachom ding hinam? Mithi hungthodoh a nathangvah theiding hinam?
For the dead, wilt thou perform a wonder? Or shall, the shades, arising, give thee thanks? (Selah)
11 Lhankhuh a kon in amahon nami ngailutna longlou hi ahin phongdoh theina diuvem? Suhmangna mun'a umhon nakitah nahi aphongdoh theina diuvem?
Shall Thy lovingkindness be recounted in the grave? Thy faithfulness, in destruction?
12 Muthim'in nathilbol kidang hohi aseiphong nadiuvem? Thil suhmil delna gama umhon na chonphat na hochu aseiphong theina diuvem?
Shall any wonder of thine, be known in the dark? Or, thy righteousness, in the land of forgetfulness?
13 O Yahweh Pakai nangma kakouve, niseh-a nakom a katao jingding ahi.
But, I, unto thee, O Yahweh, have cried for help, And, in the morning, my prayer will confront thee!
14 O Yahweh Pakai, ibolla kei nei paidoh hitam? Ibol a kei a kon a naki heimang hitam?
Wherefore, O Yahweh, shouldst thou reject my soul? shouldst thou hide thy face from me?
15 Kakhang don lai a pat a, kanatna hin thina komcha eina lhutsa ahitan, nagim neina masanga hin thabei leh lungkham tah'in kading e.
Afflicted have I been, and dying, from youth, I have borne the terror of thee—I shall be distracted!
16 Nalunghan na tijat umtah chun eilonvuh'in, tijat naumna chun eithabei sah e.
Over me, have passed thy bursts of burning anger, The alarms of thee have put an end to me;
17 Hiche hochun sun nilhum in twisoh bangin kavel a eilon khum un ahi. Muthimhi kakinai pipen kagol in apang un ahi.
They have surrounded me like waters, all the day, They have come circling against me together:
18 Nang man ka mite le ka ngailut cheng neilahpeh tai, Thimjing hi kaki naipi pen ka loi chu ahi tai.
Thou hast far removed from me, lover and friend, Mine acquaintances, are in darkness.
