The Lord loves the gates of Sion, more than all the tabernacles of Jacob.
3 O Elohim Pathen khopi, nangma chungchang ahi itibang thuloupi tahtah kisei a hitam!
Glorious things have been spoken of thee, O city of God. (Pause)
4 Keima eiheho lah'a hin, Egypt le Babylon chule Philistine leh Tyre chuleh gamlha tah Ethiopia jong kasimtha e. Amaho hi Jerusalem khomite ahitaove.
I will make mention of Raab and Babylon to them that know me: behold also the Philistines, and Tyre, and the people of the Ethiopians: these were born there.
5 Jerusalem chungchang a hitiahi kisei ding ahi, “amijousen nammi hina a thaneina chu akipapi cheh uve”, chule hatchungnung ama tah in khopi chu phatthei aboh ding ahi.
A man shall say, Sion [is my] mother; and [such] a man was born in her; and the Highest himself has founded her.
6 Yahweh Pakai in chitin namtin hi ajihlut teng, aseiding, “amaho jouse hi Jerusalem khomite ahitaove” atiding ahi.
The Lord shall recount [it] in the writing of the people, and of these princes that were born in her.
7 Mipi hochun theile amut'uva la asahdiu, “Kahinkho hung kipat nahi Jerusalem ahi” atidiu ahi.
The dwelling of all within thee is [as the dwelling] of those that rejoice.
