< La Bu 83 >
1 O Elohim Pathen, thipbeh in umhih'in! Na-ngong in umhih'in. O Pathen Elohim thipsan jeng hih in.
A Song, a Melody of Asaph. O God, Do not keep quiet, Do not hold thy peace, Neither be thou still, O GOD!
2 Nagalmite cho leng lung khu najahlou ham? Kiletsah tah nagalmiho ahung kipatdoh khu nahet louham?
For lo! thine enemies, are tumultuous, And, they who hate thee, have lifted up the head;
3 Amahon namite douna dingin aguh in thil agong uvin, nangin napanhu mite dounan thilphalou agong uvin ahi.
Against thy people, they craftily devise a secret plot, And conspire against thy treasured ones.
4 Amahon aseijun “Hungun hiche nam mite hi sumang uhite akitiuve, chutileh Israel hi isuhmit heldiu ahi” atiuve.
They have said—Come, and let us wipe them out from being a nation, That the name of Israel may be remembered no more.
5 Hiche tohgon ahi amaho akinop to uvin nang dounan kiloikhomna khat anei taove.
For they have taken counsel with one heart, Against thee—a covenant, would they solemnize—
6 Ama hohi Edom mite, Ishmael mite, Moab mite, Hagrit mite,
The tents of Edom, and the Ishmaelites, of Moab and the Hagarenes;
7 Gebal mite, Ammon mite, Amelek mite chuleh Philistine leh Tyre akon mipiho ahiuve.
Gebal and Ammon, and Amalek, The Philistines, with the dwellers in Tyre;
8 Assyria miten jong ajopmun ahin, Lot chilhah hoto jong kiloikhom ahiuve.
Even Assyria hath joined herself with them, They have become an arm to the sons of Lot. (Selah)
9 Amahohi Midian, Sisera, Jabin mite Kishion vadunga nabol bang bangin boljengin.
Make them like Midian, like Sisera, like Jabin, by the torrent of Kishon;
10 Amaho chu Endor lah nasumang in chuleh atahsa'u monlha chu leiset leipha sosahnan akimang in ahi.
They perished at En-dor, They become manure for the soil!
11 Nang in alamkai hochu Oreb le Zoab nabolna bang in sumang in lang chuleh avaipo ho chu Zebah le Zalmunna nabolna bang in thatdoh tan,
Make them—their nobles—like Oreb and like Zeeb, And, like Zebah and like Zalmunna, all their princes:
12 ajeh chu amahon hitin aseijuve, “eihon hiche Elohim Pathen gam hohi eiho phatchom na dingin lahpeh-u hite” akitiuve.
Who said—Let us take a possession for ourselves, The pastures of God!
13 O Elohim Pathen amahohi huilah a changvai akithejal bangin thejaltan!
O my God, make them, As whirling [dust], As chaff before a wind;
14 Meijin gammang ahal bang in chuleh meikong in molle lhang ahal lhah bang in hallha jengin,
As a fire burneth a forest, —And as a flame setteth mountains ablaze,
15 Huile gon melse tah a adelmang bang in delmang'in, nakhopi huijin kichat sah in,
So, wilt thou pursue them with thy tempest, —And, with thy storm-wind, wilt terrify them:
16 Nasatah in sujumm in O Yahweh Pakai, namin a ahung kipehlut tokah un.
Fill thou their faces with dishonour, That men may seek thy Name, O Yahweh;
17 Amaho hi tonsotna jum ding leh kicha jing dingin melsetah'in thisah tan.
Let them turn pale, and be terrified to futurity, Yea let them blush, and perish:
18 Hiteng chuleh amahon nangbou hi Hatchungnung leiset chunga thunei chungnung nahi hi hin hetau vinte.
That men may know that, thou, Whose Name alone is Yahweh, Art Most High over all the earth.
