< La Bu 82 >
1 Van a thutan na chunga Elohim Pathen in vai ahomin Van mite chunga athutan na aphondoh e.
A Melody of Asaph. God, hath taken his place in the august assembly, In the midst of the gods, will he judge.
2 Nangman itihchan hi miphalouho napanpia thudihlou ho nachelhah sah dingham?
How long will ye judge perversely, And, the countenances of the lawless, uplift? (Selah)
3 “Chaga leh vaichate chungah thudih chepin lang; tahlel tele engbolla umte chungah thudih phongdoh in.
Vindicate the weak and the fatherless, The oppressed and the poor, see righted;
4 Panpi bei tele engbolla umte huhdoh in, miphalouho khut a konin huhdoh-in.
Deliver the weak and the needy, Out of the hand of the lawless, make rescue.
5 Hinla mibolse ten imacha ahepouve; ama hokhu hetna lhasam ahiuve. Muthim noi a avah leuvin, leiset sungil lamgei in ahotling tai.
They know not, neither can they perceive, In darkness, they wander, All the foundations of the earth do shake.
6 Keiman kasei in, ‘Nang ho Pathen nahiuve; nangho hatchungnung chilhah te nahiu ve.
I, said, Gods, ye are, Yea, sons of the Highest, are ye all;
7 Hinlah nangho mihem tabang bep a nathi diu, thunei vaihom dang ho banga nalhuh tei diu ahi.’”
But indeed, like the earth-born, shall ye die! And, like one of the princes, shall ye fall!
8 Hung kipatin, O Elohim Pathen vannoi leiset hi athu tannin, ajeh chu chiding namdangho jouse jonghi aboncha nanga ahi.
Arise! O God, judge thou the earth, For, thou, wilt inherit all the nations.
