La Bu 63
1 O Elohim Pathen nang bou ka Pathen na hi; ken lungil tah in nang kahol e. Kalhagao in nadangchah in; twi veilouna mun gotna gamgo ahin ka tahsa pumpin nang ka hin lhangai e.
A psalm of David when he was in the desert of Edom. O God, my God, to thee do I watch at break of day. For thee my soul hath thirsted; for thee my flesh, O how many ways!
2 Na mun theng'a kon'in ka hin mun na loupina leh na thaneina chu ka hin mun ahi.
In a desert land, and where there is no way, and no water: so in the sanctuary have I come before thee, to see thy power and thy glory.
3 Na mi ngailutna longlou chu mihem hinkhoma ma sang a phajo ahi; nang ka hin thangvah chim theipoi.
For thy mercy is better than lives: thee my lips shall praise.
4 Hinkho ka nei laisen nangma thangvah ing kating, nahenga taonan ka khut teni hin domsang ing kate.
Thus will I bless thee all my life long: and in thy name I will lift up my hands.
5 An twipen ka neh sang'in nang'in neihin lunglhaisah jon. Kipah tah in nangma thangvahnan la sangnge.
Let my soul be filled as with marrow and fatness: and my mouth shall praise thee with joyful lips.
6 Kalupna mun a limgeh chan nang kagel gel jin, janteng jongle nangma lungel ho kangaito ji e.
If I have remembered thee upon my bed, I will meditate on thee in the morning:
7 Nangma eikithopi nahijeh in, na lhaving lim noi ah kipah tah in vahchoila ka san ahi.
Because thou hast been my helper. And I will rejoice under the covert of thy wings:
8 Na ban thahat tah jet lang in det tah in neituh in ahileh keiman nang ka tuhchah in ahi.
My soul hath stuck close to thee: thy right hand hath received me.
9 Keima eisumang goho chu hung mangthah diu ahi. Amaho chu leikotong athuhlai pena chu lhalut ding ahiuve.
But they have sought my soul in vain, they shall go into the lower parts of the earth:
10 Amaho chu chemjam a thidiu sial ho anchah a pang diu ahi.
They shall be delivered into the hands of the sword, they shall be the portions of foxes.
11 Ahinla lengpa chu Elohim Pathen a kipah ding ahi. Koi hileh Ama tahsan chan chun athangvah ding, mijouho vang suhthip a umdiu ahi.
But the king shall rejoice in God, all they shall be praised that swear by him: because the mouth is stopped of them that speak wicked things.
