1 Elohim Pathen ang a thipbeh chan ka ngah e, ajeh chu Ama a kon a ka galjona hung kipan ji ahi.
For the end, a Psalm of David for Idithun. Shall not my soul be subjected to God? for of him is my salvation.
2 Ama bou hi kasongpi le kakihuhhing na ahin, longlou hel a kaum thei kakingai na kulpi ahi.
For he is my God, and my savior; my helper, I shall not be moved very much.
3 Mi khatseh douding melma tamtah ahiuvin-abon'un keima eithat gouve. Amaho ding hin keima hi bang chimsa le tho kigen achimsa tobang ka hi bouve.
How long will you assault a man? you are all slaughtering as with a bowed wall and a broken hedge.
4 Amahon munsang a kon a sotlhah di eigouve. Ka chung chang a jouthu sei athanom un ahi. Amahon kamasanga eipahchao vin alungsung uvah eigaosap un ahi.
They only took counsel to set at nothing mine honor: I ran in thirst: with their mouth they blessed, but with their heart they cursed. (Pause)
5 Keiman ka hina jouse pum in Elohim Pathen angsung a thipbehchan ka ngah e, ajeh chu ama a hin ka kinepna aumjing e.
Nevertheless do you, my soul, be subjected to God; for of him [is] my patient hope.
6 Ama bou hi ka sochatna leh ka kulpi chuleh ka songpi ahin keima sotlinghoi ka hi tahlou ding ahitai.
For he [is] my God and my Saviour; my helper, I shall not be moved.
7 Ka galjona leh ka minphatna Elohim Pathen a kon jeng bou ahi. Ama hi ka kiselna le ka songpi ahin, ka melma hon eihin maiphah lou diu ahi.
In God [is] my salvation and my glory: [he is] the God of my help, and my hope is in God.
8 O ka mite phat tinin Ama bou tahsan jingin na lungthim a na pohgih ama chuga sung lhan, ajeh chu Ama hi ikiselna u ahi.
Hope in him, all you congregation of the people; pour out your hearts before him, for God is our helper. (Pause)
9 Milham ho hi hainahu khat hui bap a phachom lou ahibou uve, chule mithahat ho jong alim u va amelsou toh akibang deh pouve. Amahokhu lepton lang vele chun hainahu khat sanga jong jangjo ahibou uve.
But the sons of men are vain; the sons of men are false, so as to be deceitful in the balances; they are all alike [formed] out of vanity.
10 Nang in na inchen na hinkho hi hunam a lah le guhchat in kivah hih in. Na nei na gou ahung punbe a ahijongleh hiche a chun kisong hih in.
Trust not in unrighteousness, and lust not after robberies: if wealth should flow in, set not your heart upon it.
11 Elohim Pathen in ol heuvin thu asei in hichu keiman phat tin in ka na jajin ahi. O Elohim Pathen thaneina jouse hi nang a ahi.
God has spoken once, [and] I have heard these two things, that power is of God;
12 O Yahweh Pakai ngailutna longlou hi nang a ahi, tahbeh in nang in mijouse hi atoh dungjui cheh a na lethuh ahi.
and mercy is your, O Lord; for you will recompense every one according to his works.
