La Bu 61

1 O Elohim Pathen ka kana neingaipeh in! Ka taona hi ngai in!

For the Leader; with string-music. A Psalm of David. Hear my cry, O God; attend unto my prayer.

2 Lungsung lunghemnan eilonkhum teng leiset kol kimvel a kon'in panpi ngaichan ka hin kou e. Hoidoh na songpi sang chung'ah neipuitou in,

From the end of the earth will I call unto Thee, when my heart fainteth; lead me to a rock that is too high for me.

3 ajeh chu nangma hi ka kiselna mun olna pen chu na hi, ka melmate'n ahin phahjoulouna kulpi chu nangma na hi.

For Thou hast been a refuge for me, a tower of strength in the face of the enemy.

4 Na mun theng'a tonsot'in neichensah in hilai chu na lha limnoi kiselna chu ahi.

I will dwell in Thy Tent for ever; I will take refuge in the covert of Thy wings. (Selah)

5 O Elohim Pathen ka kitepna chu nei jahpehtai, nangma gingte chan dia na gonpeh na goulona mun chu neipeh ahitai.

For Thou, O God, hast heard my vows; Thou hast granted the heritage of those that fear Thy name.

6 Lengpa hinkho hi kum tamtah pehben! Khangkit geiin jong hinghoi in!

Mayest Thou add days unto the king's days! May his years be as many generations!

7 Elohim Pathen hoidam na achun vai hom jing hen. Na mi ngailutna longlou le na kitahna chun kaihoi jing hen.

May he be enthroned before God for ever! Appoint mercy and truth, that they may preserve him.

8 Hiteng chuleh nitina ka kitepna suh bulhit ingkating tonsot'in na min thangvah jing tang e.

So will I sing praise unto Thy name for ever, that I may daily perform my vows.
