La Bu 54

1 O Elohim Pathen thaneitah in hung'in lang neihuhdoh in! Na thahatnan nei veng'in.

To the chief Musician. On stringed instruments: an instruction. Of David; when the Ziphites came, and said to Saul, Is not David hiding himself with us? O God, by thy name save me, and by thy strength do me justice.

2 O Elohim Pathen ka taona ngaijin, ka thumna hi neihin gelkhoh peh'in,

O God, hear my prayer; give ear to the words of my mouth.

3 Ajeh chu gamdang mite'n eihin delkhum uvin, mi engse ten tha ding'in eihol'un ahi, amahon Elohim Pathen imachan agel pouve.

For strangers are risen up against me, and the violent seek after my life: they have not set God before them. (Selah)

4 Ahinlah kei ding'in Elohim Pathen hi eipanpi ahin, Yahweh Pakai hin eihinghoi ahi.

Behold, God is my helper; the Lord is among them that uphold my soul.

5 Ka galmi ten thilse agon jouse'u hi amaho chunga le chuh hen! Na dei dan tah in achung uva na tong'in lang amaho khu subei in.

He will requite evil to mine enemies: in thy truth cut them off.

6 Keiman naheng a kiphal tah in thilpeh hinchoi ing e; Keiman namin hinthang vah ing kate Yahweh Pakai, ajeh chu hichu apha ahi.

I will freely sacrifice unto thee; I will praise thy name, O Jehovah, because it is good.

7 Ajeh chu Yahweh Pakai nang'in ka hesohna a kon'in neihuhdoh tan, ka galmite chung'a jong galjona neimusah tan ahi.

For he hath delivered me out of all trouble; and mine eye hath seen [its desire] upon mine enemies.
