1 O Pakai, ka ocheng ho neingaipeh’in, Kalungthim a kataona jong neigelkhoh peh’in.
“To the chief musician upon Nechiloth, a psalm of David.” To my words give ear, O Lord, have regard to my mediation.
2 Panpi ngaija kakana neigelkhohpeh’in, kalengpa le ka Pathen; ajeh chu nangma kom’a bou taova kahi.
Listen unto the voice of my loud cry, my King, and my God, when unto thee I pray.
3 O Pakai, jingkah teng kataona nei ngaipeh’in, jingkah seh leh nangma lam sangingtingkangaichat jouse nakom kahinlhut a kinemtah a ngah jingding kahi.
O Lord! in the morning do thou hear my voice: in the morning will I set in order [my prayer] before thee, and 1ook up with hope.
4 Nangma thil phalouho chunga kipah ji Pahen nahipon, migilou ho jong na angsuna aumthei ji pouve.
For thou art not a God that hath pleasure in wickedness: evil cannot abide with thee.
5 Nangma angsunga mikiletsah ho adingjou jipon; Pakai nang man gitlou nale chonset bol jouse nathet soh hel e.
The arrogant cannot stand up before thy eyes: thou hatest all workers of wickedness.
6 Nangin jouthu sei ho nasuh mang ding ahi; Pakai in mijoulhep holeh tolthat ho athet ahi.
Thou wilt destroy those that speak lies: the man of blood and deceit the Lord abhorreth.
7 Keima din vang, Nangailut na bulhingsetjal chun na hongsung hunglut nange; Chule nangma ginle jana a nahouin theng mai a bohkhup a chibai kabohding nahi.
But as for me—in the abundance of thy kindness will I enter thy house: I will bow myself down before thy holy temple in the fear of thee.
8 O Pakai, kamelma ten eijo lounadin nalamdih a neipui in. Kamasanga um lampi hi kajuidih nadin neihin lhun jang peh in.
O Lord, lead me in thy righteousness because of those that regard me enviously; make straight before me thy way.
9 Ajeh chu kamelmate kamsung'a thutah apotthei tapon, asunglam’u jong setnajeng ahitai; Alol sung ujong lhankhuh abangin, alei ujong chuchi a kilhunglut kalbi abang e.
For there is not in their mouth any sincerity; their inward part is full of deception; an open sepulchre is their throat: they flatter with their tongue.
10 O Pakai ama ho khu gotna petan. Aduhabol nauhi amaho lhuh na hihen! Achonsetnao ho jeh’in delmang jeng’in, ajeh chu amahohin nangma dounan na atong’un ahi.
Condemn them, O God: let them fall through their own counsels; for the multitude of their transgressions cast them down; for they have rebelled against thee.
11 Ahin koihileh nangma lhalim noi’a umho chu thanom’u hen! Nangma thangvahna lachu kipahtah’in sajingu hen! Amaho chunga nalhajah in hoidoh jing in lang, Nangma min ngailu jing ho jong kipa na lodim jing’u hen.
Then will rejoice all those that put their trust in thee; for ever will they shout for joy, when thou protectest them: and then will exult in thee those that love thy name.
12 O Pakai, nang’in michonpha ho phatthei naboh tei in. Nalungtoh te ngailut na ompho phatah achun nahoibit jing e.
For thou wilt bless the righteous, O Lord; as with a shield wilt thou encompass him with favor.
