1 O Elohim Pathen, phat sottah masanga kapu kapateo khanglai a nanatoh nathil bolho eina seipeh u chu keiho tah in kanakol un kanajaove:
To the Chief Musician. For the Sons of Korah. An Instructive Psalm. O God! with our own ears, have we heard, Our fathers, have recounted to us, —The work thou didst work, In their day, In the days of aforetime:
2 Nangin nangma helou namtin vaipi ho naban thahat in nana deljam in agam leiset uchu kapu kapateo nanapen ahi. Nangin agalmiteo nana suhlhuh peh in kapu kapateo chu nana chamlhat sah in ahi.
Thou thyself, with thine own hand—Didst dispossess, nations, and didst plant them, Didst break peoples in pieces, and didst spread them out:
3 Amahon achemjam uva gal anajouva gam analah u ahipoi; aban thahat uva jong gal anajou ahipoi. Amavang nangma ban thahat leh namaivah chun gal nana jopeh ahibouve ajeh chu nangin amaho chu nana ngailun ahi.
For, not by their own sword, gat they possession of the land, Nor did, their own arm, win victory for them, —But thine own right hand, and thine own arm, and the light of thy face, Because thou hadst accepted them.
4 Nangma kalengpa le Elohim ka Pathen nahin nangin Israel te dingin gal nana jo peh tai.
Thou thyself, art my king, O God, Command thou the victories of Jacob.
5 Nangma thahatna jal a bou kagal miteo kanungno jouvu ahin naming a bou keihon eidouhou kachotphao ahibouve.
By thee, will we thrust at, our adversaries, In thy Name, will we tread down our assailants;
6 Keiman kathalpi kasongpoi, kachemjamin eihuhdoh dingjong kakinempoi.
For, not in my bow, will I trust, Nor shall, my sword, give me victory;
7 Nangma bouvin kagalmi teo chunga galjona neipeh u ahibouve, hitihin nangin eihotbol teo chu jumna napejin ahi.
For thou hast saved us from our adversaries, And, them who hated us, hast thou put to shame.
8 O Elohim Pathen naloupina ho hi tantih neilou va ka samphon jing diu, chule a kumkho a ka thangvah jing diu ahi.
In God, have we boasted all the day, And, thy Name—unto times age-abiding, will we praise. (Selah)
9 Ahinla tunvang nangin jumthetna neipaidoh u ahitai. Nangin ka sepia hou jengjong neilamkai peh tapouve.
But nay thou hast rejected, and confounded us, And wilt not go forth with our hosts;
10 Nangin kagalmi teu va kon in neinung jamsah un chuleh eidou houchu kagamsung u nalosah tai.
Thou sufferest us to turn back from the adversary, And, they who hate us, have plundered at will:
11 Nangin kelngoiho bangin eikisat chen chen sah gamtaovin chitin vaipi lah a neithe thang gamtaove.
Thou dost give us up like sheep to be devoured, And, amongst the nations, hast thou scattered us.
12 Nangin nasahlut namitehi manbai tah in najohdoh in man neilouhel toh nabah sahtai.
Thou dost sell thy people for, no-value, And hast not made increase by their price.
13 Nangin kaheng kakomhou noise neichansah taovin kavelluva mite taitom le houset dingbep in neikoitaove.
Thou dost make us, A reproach to our neighbours, A mockery and a derision to them who are round about us:
14 Nangin amaho totthang hoina bepseo neihisah taovin isahlou tah in alu eihih khum taovin ahi.
Thou dost make us, A by-word among the nations, —A shaking of the head among the peoples.
15 Ki taitom jingna a konhin kakile doh jouta pouvin kamai uva jumleh jachat mel kapu den taove.
All the day, is my confusion before me, And, the shame of my face, hath covered me:
16 Kajah uhi eitaitomteo housetna thucheng ngen ahin, kamit uva kamu houhi ahileh kachunguva phula nom dougal mite ngen ahiuve.
At the voice of him who reproacheth and revileth, At the face of the foe and avenger.
17 Hichenghi kathoh jeng vangun keihon nangma kasumil deh pouvin ahi. Kitepna thuchengho jong kasukeh deh pouve.
All this, hath come upon us, Yet had we not forgotten thee, Neither had we dealt falsely with thy covenant;
18 Kalung thim un nangma kanuse deh pouvin nalampia konin jong kajam mangdeh pouve.
Our heart had not drawn back, Nor had our goings swerved from thy path;
19 Hinlah nangin sial chenna neldi gam anei suchipden taove, nangin thina le muthim neikhu khum taove.
That thou shouldst have crushed us down in the place of wild dogs, And covered us over with a deadly shadow.
20 I jemtia keihon Elohim ka Pathen u min kasuh mil uva ahilouleh gamdang semthu pathen houna a kakhut u kalhandoh khah uva ahileh,
If we had forgotten the Name of our God, And had spread forth our hands unto the GOD of the foreigner,
21 Elohim Pathen in ahet teiding ahi ajeh chu Aman mihem lungthim a thuguh jouse ahet ahi.
Would not, God, have searched into this, Seeing that, he, knoweth the secrets of the heart?
22 Ahin, nangma jal in niseh in eiki thatnun; kelngoi bangin eiki that taove.
Surely, for thy sake, have we been slain all the day, We have been accounted as sheep for slaughter.
23 O Yahweh Pakai hung thoudoh in ibol a na imut ham? Hung thoudoh in! neipaidoh pai pai hihbeh un.
Awake thou! wherefore shouldst thou sleep, O Lord? Bestir thee! do not reject us altogether!
24 Ipidinga namai naheimang ham? Kathohgim naoleh eibolset naohi nanahsah lou hitam?
Wherefore shouldst thou hide, thy face? Shouldst forget our humiliation and our oppression?
25 Keiho leivui lah a kalhumat gam taove, bonlhoh lah a akhupbon kakijam taove.
For our soul, sinketh down to the dust, Our body, cleaveth to the earth.
26 Hung kipatdoh inlang! Neikithopiuvin! Nami ngailutna longlou chun neihung lhatdoh taovin.
Arise to our help, And ransom us, because of thine own lovingkindness.
