1 Mivaichate khoto ho chu anunnom ahi! Amaho chu Yahweh Pakai in boina ato nao a kon a ahuhdoh diu ahi.
For the leader; for Jeduthun. A psalm of David. Happy are those who consider the weak; in the day of misfortune the Lord will deliver them.
2 Yahweh Pakai in amaho chu ahoibit in ahinghoi jiu ve. Aman amaho chu gamsung ah phatthei aboh in galmiho akon na ahuhdoh ji e.
He will keep them safe, happy, and long in the land, and not give them up to the rage of their foes.
3 Yahweh Pakai in adam mo naova panpin tin adamdoh sahding ahi.
The Lord will sustain them on bed of languishing; tending their sickness, as long as they lie.
4 “O Yahweh Pakai”, katao ahi “eilungset in, neidamdoh sah in ajeh chu nangma dounan kachonsetai.”
For this cause I say, ‘Lord, show me your favour; heal me, because I have sinned against you.’
5 Ahinla kadougal ten keima dounan thilse jeng asei un ahi. “Itih tah le athin suhmil in aum tadem?” atiu ve.
My enemies speak of me nothing but evil, ‘When will he die, and his name pass away?’
6 Kagol kapai bang in eihung vil jiuvin, hinla chomloukah in kachungchang guhthim thu asei khom leuvin, eidalhah tengu le muntin in aphonjal ji taove.
When one comes to see me, their words ring hollow; their heart keeps gathering mischief the while; and when they go out, they give it speech.
7 Eihot bolten keichung chang a thilphalou ngan aseijun, kachung a thilse ahung lhun dingbou adei un ahi.
In secret they whisper together against me, all those who hate me plot evil against me.
8 “Amahi thina thei hiveija na ahi” atiuve. “Amahi damdoh joulou ding ahitai!” atiuve.
‘Some fatal disease has fastened upon him; and now that he lies, he will rise up no more.’
9 Katahsan pen kagol phapen, an kaneh khom pipa jeng jong keima eidouvin apang tai.
My most trusted friend, on whom I relied, who ate of my bread, has turned against me.
10 Yahweh Pakai neilungset in. Neidamdoh sah kitin amahohi kalethuh jou nadin!
But do you, Lord, graciously raise me up, that I may pay them their due reward.
11 Yahweh Pakai nangma kachunga nalung lhaije ti kahei ajeh chu nangin kamelmate kachungah gal nalel sahtai.
By this will I know you delight in me: if my foes may not shout over me in triumph.
12 Nangin kahinkho neihing hoipeh tai, ajeh chu keiman lhamonna kaneipoi, chuleh nangin atonsot a din na-angsung a neipui luttai.
For my innocence you uphold me, and set me forever before your face.
13 Israel Elohim Pathen Yahweh Pakai chu thangvah in umhen, Tonsot tonsot a hingjing pa chu. Amen chule Amen!
