1 Panpi ding ngai in Yahweh Pakai chu lungneng tah in kangah jing e, aman kahenglam ahin ngan kataona eisanpih tai.
To the Chief Musician. David’s. A Melody. I waited patiently for Yahweh, —And he inclined, unto me, and heard my cry for help;
2 Aman lunglhah nathei kotong a kon in eikai doh in, buol sung a buon ngan lah a kon in eikai doh in tolgo chung a eidin sah in kakal sonna jong eisuh dih pih e.
So he brought me up, Out of the destroying pit, Out of the swampy mire, —And set, upon a cliff, my feet, Making firm my steps:
3 Kasah ding lathah khat eipen, I Pathen u Elohim vahchoi na ding la khat eipen ahi. Mitamtah in ana toh hin mu un tin adatmo ding u ahi. Hitia chu amahon Yahweh Pakai chu atah san diu ahi.
Then put he, into my mouth, a new song, Praise to our God, —Many shall see and revere, And shall trust in Yahweh.
4 O Yahweh Pakai tahsan na a ding det ho iti akipah tadiuvem, amahon mikiletsah ho chung a tahsan na anei pouvin ahilouleh semthu pathen limhou ho jong atahsan pouve.
How happy the man, Who hath made Yahweh his confidence, who hath not turned unto the haughty, nor gone aside unto falsehood.
5 O Yahweh Pakai, Elohim ka Pathen, nangin keiho ding in thil kidang tah tah neibolpeh taove. Neigon peh u thilho hi simjou sutjou hoi ahipoi. Nangto kibang ding koima cha aum poi. Na kidang natoh doh ho hi sim ding kagon, achaina gei kalhun lou ding kahei.
Mighty things, hast thou done—Thou, Yahweh my God, Thy wonderful doings and thy purposes towards us, There is no setting them in order unto thee—I would tell, and would speak!—They are too great to rehearse.
6 Nangman pumgo thilto ho a hin kipana nanei poi. Nei ngaisah thu ho chu tun kahechen tai, nangin chonset thoidam na thilto leh pumgo thilto jong nangeh poi.
Sacrifice and meal-offering, thou didst not delight in, Ears, didst thou pierce for me, —Ascending-sacrifice and sin-bearer, thou didst not ask:
7 Hichun keiman kaseijin, “Ven keima kahung e. Elohim Pathen lekhabu a kisun bang in:
Then, said I—Lo! I am come, In the written scroll, is it prescribed for me;
8 Nangma lungdei lam bolding hi katha anop na ahi, O Elohim Pathen, ajeh chu kalung sung a nangma Danthu hohi akisun lut tai.”
To do thy good-pleasure, O my God, is my delight, And, thy law, is in the midst of mine inward parts:
9 Namite jouse lah a nathutan dih je hi kaphongdoh tai. O het themna nei Yahweh Pakai, nangma bang in kichaloubeh in kasei doh tai.
I have told the good-tidings of righteousness in a great convocation, Lo! my lips, do I not restrain, O Yahweh, thou, knowest:
10 Nadih jedan kipana thupha hi keiman kachang a din kalungthim a selguh in kakoi poi; Nakitah na le nami huhhing na thu kasei e. Nahoubung mithengte lah a namingai lut na long lou le nakitah na chu tanglou in kasei phong jinge.
Thy righteousness, have I not hid in the midst of my heart, Thy faithfulness and thy salvation, have I spoken, I have not concealed thy lovingkindness and thy truthfulness from the great convocation.
11 Yahweh Pakai nangin tanglou vin neingailu jing jeng in. Nangailut nale nakitahna chu neihoi bit jing sah in.
Thou, O Yahweh, wilt not restrain thy compassions from me, Thy lovingkindness and thy truthfulness, shall continually watch over me.
12 Boinan eibom in sim a simjou hoi ahipoi! Kachonsetna akikhol sang in kalampi jong kamu thei tapoi. Kalujang a kasam sangin atamjo tan hansan na him him kanei jou tapoi.
For there have closed in upon me, misfortunes beyond number, Mine iniquities have overtaken me, and I cannot see, They have become more than the hairs of my head, And, my courage, hath forsaken me!
13 Yahweh Pakai lungsettah in neihuhdoh in! hung vah in Yahweh Pakai neipanpin.
Be pleased, O Yahweh, to rescue me, O Yahweh! to help me, make haste!
14 Eisumang gohohi jumson lang kisuhboi sah in, kahahsat nikho a kipah ho lungdong in nungjam sah in.
Let them turn pale and then at once blush, who are seeking my life to snatch it away, —Let them draw back, and be confounded, who are taking pleasure in my calamity;
15 “Aha tun akimaikhah tai” ti a asei jeh un, jum nan kichao hen.
Let them be astonished on account of their own shame, who are saying of me, Aha! Aha!
16 Nangkom hinbel jouse kipa nale thanop nan dimset uhen. Nami huhhing na kipapi hochun “Yahweh Pakai chu aloupi e” tin sam jing u hen.
Let all them be glad and rejoice in thee, who are seekers of thee. Let them say continually—Yahweh be magnified! who are lovers of thy salvation.
17 Keidin vang gentheile vaicha kahi jeh in, Yahweh Pakai in alung sung a eihoi jing hen. Yahweh Pakai nang chu eikithopi le eihuhhingpu nahi. O ka Pathen Elohim khongai sot hih in.
But, I, being oppressed and needy, May My Lord devise for me, —My help and my deliverer, thou art! O my God, do not tarry!
