1 Keiman nangma kangailui Yahweh Pakai; Nangma hi kathahatna nahi.
To him that excelleth. A Psalme of Dauid the seruant of the Lord, which spake unto the Lord the wordes of this song (in the day that the Lord delivered him for the hande of all this enemies, and form the and of saul) and sayd, I will loue thee dearely, O Lord my strength.
2 Yahweh Pakai hi kasongpi, kakulpi, chuleh eihuhhingpu ahin, Elohim ka Pathen hi kasongpi ahin eiveng tup jing ahi. Amahi kalumdal, eihuhhinga thahat chu ahin, chuleh kahoidohna munpi chu ahi.
The Lord is my rocke, and my fortresse, and he that deliuereth me, my God and my strength: in him will I trust, my shield, the horne also of my saluation, and my refuge.
3 Keiman thangvah dinga lomtah Yahweh Pakai chu kakouvin, aman kamelmatea konnin eihuhdoh'in ahi.
I will call vpon the Lord, which is worthie to be praysed: so shall I be safe from mine enemies.
4 Thina khoisatna chun eiumkimvel tan, manthahna twipi chun eichup tan ahi.
The sorowes of death compassed me, and the floods of wickednes made me afraide.
The sorowes of the graue haue compassed me about: the snares of death ouertooke me. (Sheol h7585)
6 Ka lungkham val phatnin Yahweh Pakai chu kakouvin, Elohim ka Pathen komma chun panpi ngaichan kataovin Aman ahouin thenga konnin kataona asangin ahi.
But in my trouble did I call vpon the Lord, and cryed vnto my God: he heard my voyce out of his Temple, and my crye did come before him, euen into his eares.
7 Hi jouchun leiset akilingin akihot e. Molbul ho jeng jong kihot e ajeh chu Elohim Pathen lunghang a ahi.
Then the earth trembled, and quaked: the foundations also of the mountaines mooued and shooke, because he was angrie.
8 Yahweh Pakai nah hom a meikhu ahung potdoh in, meikou gimneitah akam a konnin ahungkou doh'in chuleh Mei-am al lenglung Ama-a konnin ahung koudoh'in ahi.
Smoke went out at his nostrels, and a consuming fire out of his mouth: coales were kindled thereat.
9 Aman vanho chu ahongdoh'in meilom thimletlut chu ahin chotphan ahung kumsuh in,
He bowed the heauens also and came downe, and darkenes was vnder his feete.
10 Yahweh Pakai chu vantil pipui khat chunga atouvin, huipi chu alhavingin amangin alengin ahi.
And he rode vpon Cherub and did flie, and he came flying vpon the wings of the winde.
11 Yahweh Pakai chu muthim in ahung kitom in, meilom twi jingletlut pumin ahung lhungin ahi.
He made darkenes his secrete place, and his pauilion round about him, euen darkenesse of waters, and cloudes of the ayre.
12 Yahweh Pakai vah'in ahintom chu meilom satah'in ahinkhu khum in gelchang le mei-am chu gojuh'in ahung julhan ahi.
At the brightnes of his presence his clouds passed, haylestones and coles of fire.
13 Yahweh Pakai chu vanna konnin ahung kisen in hatchungnung ogin chu gelchang leh mei-am koulah achun akithongin ahi.
The Lord also thundred in the heauen, and the Highest gaue his voyce, haylestones and coales of fire.
14 Aman athalpi ahin kapmin agalmiho chu athe cheh'in, avah em lahlah chun amaho chu asuboi gamtan ahi.
Then hee sent out his arrowes and scattred them, and he increased lightnings and destroyed them.
15 O Yahweh Pakai nangin nagalmi ho napho a lunghangtah a nakisen chun twikhanglen ato geijin akikangin, leiset bulpi jouse jong akeuvin aumjie.
And the chanels of waters were seene, and the foundations of the worlde were discouered at thy rebuking, O Lord, at the blasting of the breath of thy nostrels.
16 Aman vanna konnin akhut ahin lhangin eihin kaidoh'in, twipi thuh lah'a kon in jong eikaidoh'in ahi.
He hath sent downe from aboue and taken mee: hee hath drawen mee out of many waters.
17 Aman kagalmi hattah tah ho a konin eihuh doh in, kasang a hatjo ka dougal hoa kon in eihuhdoh'in ahi.
He hath deliuered mee from my strong enemie, and from them which hate me: for they were too strong for me.
18 Hahsatna kato pettah'in amahon eihin delkhum un ahinlah Yahweh Pakai in eipanpin ahi.
They preuented me in the day of my calamitie: but the Lord was my stay.
19 Aman kahoidohna mun nah eipuilut in eihuhdoh tai ajeh chu ama kipana kahi.
Hee brought mee foorth also into a large place: hee deliuered mee because hee fauoured me.
20 Yahweh Pakai in thildih kaboljeh in kipaman eipen mona kaneilou jeh'in eikiledohsah tai.
The Lord rewarded me according to my righteousnes: according to the purenes of mine hands he recompensed me:
21 Keiman Yahweh Pakai lampi kajui in, thilse lam jon'in Elohim Pathen'a kon'in kakiheimang poi.
Because I kept the wayes of the Lord, and did not wickedly against my God.
22 Keiman Yahweh Pakai chonphatna lampi kajui jingin, a Dan thupeh ho kapaidoh khapoi.
For all his Lawes were before mee, and I did not cast away his commandements from mee.
23 Elohim Pathen masangah nolnabei kahin, chonsetna kon'in kaki kangse jing e.
I was vpright also with him, and haue kept me from my wickednes.
24 Yahweh Pakai in thildih kaboljeh in Aman kipaman eipejin ahi. Aman themmonabei kahi amui.
Therefore the Lord rewarded me according to my righteousnesse, and according to the purenes of mine hands in his sight.
25 Mikitah kom'ah nangmatah jong nakitah'in, monabei ho kom'ah monabei nahi.
With the godly thou wilt shewe thy selfe godly: with the vpright man thou wilt shew thy selfe vpright.
26 Milungtheng ho kom'ah nalungtheng in ahinlah miphalouho kom'ah nakhohjin ahi.
With the pure thou wilt shewe thy selfe pure, and with the froward thou wilt shewe thy selfe froward.
27 Nangin mikineosah ho nahuhdohjin ahinla mikiletsah ho nasujumjin ahi.
Thus thou wilt saue the poore people, and wilt cast downe the proude lookes.
28 Nangin thaomei neidetpeh'in, Yahweh Pakai, Elohim ka Pathen'in kamuthim jong neisalvah peh e.
Surely thou wilt light my candle: the Lord my God wil lighten my darkenes.
29 Nangma hatna chun kagalmi hi neisuhchip peh'in Elohim ka Pathen toh kapankhom poupou leh itobang bang sang hijongleh kakal ngapchan ahi.
For by thee I haue broken through an hoste, and by my God I haue leaped ouer a wall.
30 Elohim Pathen lampi chu nolnabei ahi! Yahweh Pakai kitepna jouse alolhing jinge. Amahi ahuhdoh ding ngaicha jouse dinga lum le pho ahi.
The way of God is vncorrupt: the worde of the Lord is tried in the fire: he is a shield to all that trust in him.
31 Yahweh Pakai tailou pathen dang um'am? Elohim Pathen tailou songpi det dang um'am?
For who is God besides the Lord? and who is mightie saue our God?
32 Hiche Elohim Pathen hin eihatdoh sah'in kalampi jong hoibitnapen ahisah ahi.
God girdeth me with strength, and maketh my way vpright.
33 Aman molsang hahsa chung dunga kadindet theina din kakeng jong sakhi keng bang'in atah sah e.
He maketh my feete like hindes feete, and setteth me vpon mine high places.
34 Aman kakhut teni jong galsatna a manthei dingin agongin, kabanjang jong sum-eng thalpi loithei dingin ahatsah'in ahi.
He teacheth mine hands to fight: so that a bowe of brasse is broken with mine armes.
35 Nangman nagaljona lum chu neipetan nabanjetnin neipanhun ahi. Neikithopina hin eithupi sah'in ahi.
Thou hast also giuen me the shield of thy saluation, and thy right hand hath stayed me, and thy louing kindenes hath caused me to increase.
36 Nang man kakeng phang tenin alhonal louna dingin kalampi neikehlet peh'in ahi.
Thou hast enlarged my steps vnder mee, and mine heeles haue not slid.
37 Keiman kagalmite kadel'in kaman'in ahi; amahohi kajo kahsen katangpon ahi.
I haue pursued mine enemies, and taken them, and haue not turned againe till I had consumed them.
38 Amahohi ahung ki thodoh jou louna diuvin kasat lhun kakeng noijah akijammun ahi.
I haue wounded them, that they were not able to rise: they are fallen vnder my feete.
39 Nangin kagalsatna dingin thahatnan neivon in; Nangman kagalmite chu kakengphang noi a neikoipeh e.
For thou hast girded me with strength to battell: them, that rose against me, thou hast subdued vnder me.
40 Nangin angongchang'u neichotpha sah'in eivetda ho jouse chu kasumang sohtan ahi.
And thou hast giuen me the neckes of mine enemies, that I might destroy them that hate me.
41 Amahon panpi athummun koiman ahung huhdoh pouve. Amahon Yahweh Pakai akouvun ahinla Aman adonbut pon ahi.
They cryed but there was none to saue them, euen vnto the Lord, but hee answered them not.
42 Keiman amaho chu huilah a vutvai kithethang bangin tol ah kagoibong sel'in, bonlhoh lah'a kasunat gamatai.
Then I did beate them small as the dust before the winde: I did treade them flat as the clay in the streetes.
43 Nangin eihouse jing ho chungah galjona neipetan ahi. Nangin namtin vaipi chungah vaihom'in neipansah tan ahi. Kanahet phahlou miho jeng jong kalhachan ahungpang tauvin ahi.
Thou hast deliuered me from the contentions of the people: thou hast made me the head of the heathen: a people, whom I haue not knowen, shall serue me.
44 Kamin ajah jah'un kanoijah alut un gamchommi hojeng jong ka-anga akisunem gamtauvin ahi.
As soone as they heare, they shall obey me: the strangers shall be in subiection to me.
45 Hansanna aneijou tapouvin kithing pumpum'in ka-ang ahinbel tauvin ahi.
Strangers shall shrinke away, and feare in their priuie chambers.
46 Yahweh Pakai ahing jinge, kasongpia apanjeh'in kathangvah e! Ka sochatna Elohim ka Pathen chu loupi jing tahen!
Let the Lord liue, and blessed be my strength, and the God of my saluation be exalted.
47 Amahi eibolse ho lethuh jinga Elohim ka Pathen chu ahin, aman namtin vaipi hi eisuhnem peh'in kanoijah eikoipeh tai.
It is God that giueth me power to auenge me, and subdueth the people vnder me.
48 Chuleh kagalmitea konnin eihuhdoh'in nangman kagalmiten aphah joulouna munnah neikoijin, eidouva mi-engse hoa konnin neihoidohsah tan ahi.
O my deliuerer from mine enemies, euen thou hast set mee vp from them, that rose against me: thou hast deliuered mee from the cruell man.
49 Hichejeh hin O Yahweh Pakai namtin vaipi lah'a nathangvah ingkate, na min vahchoinan la sang nge.
Therefore I will prayse thee, O Lord, among the nations, and wil sing vnto thy Name.
50 Nangin leng a natun pa din goljona loupitah chu napetai; Chuleh nathaonupa David leh achilhahte chunga nalungset longlou namusah e.
Great deliuerances giueth hee vnto his King, and sheweth mercie to his anoynted, euen to Dauid, and to his seede for euer.
