< La Bu 109 >
1 O Elohim Pathen koiham kathangvah ding, kei a kon in thipbeh leh gamla tah in umdan lang,
Unto the end. A Psalm of David.
2 miphalouten eihousetna thujou eiseikhum teng u jong le thipbeh in umdan.
O God, do not be silent toward my praise, for the mouth of the sinner and the mouth of the deceitful one have been opened against me.
3 Thet umtah thucheng ho pum in eiumkim vel un, ajeh beihel'in eikisat piuvin ahi.
They have spoken against me with deceitful tongues, and they have surrounded me with hateful words, and they fought against me over nothing.
4 Keiman amaho hi kangailui amaho dinga kataolai hin amahon thepmosah teiding leh suhmang dingin eigong jingun ahi.
Instead of choosing to act on my behalf, they detracted me. But I gave myself to prayer.
5 Amahon thilpha kabol ho thilse jengin eilethuh'un, kangailutna hi vetda nan eithuh'un ahi.
And they set evil against me, instead of good, and hatred, in return for my love.
6 Amahon asei un, “Ama doudin miphalou khat hintungdoh un, achungthu kitan theina dinga athepmo sahding hinsol'un” atiuve.
Establish the sinner over him, and let the devil stand at his right hand.
7 Achungthu akitan teng amahi thepmosah uhitin, ataona chu chonsetnin simmu hite,
When he is judged, may he go forth in condemnation, and may his prayer be counted as sin.
8 Akum lhomsah uhite, michomkhat ama munna dinsah'u hite,
May his days be few, and let another take his episcopate.
9 achate paneilou hisah uhitin aji meithai hisah'u hite,
May his sons be orphans, and his wife a widow.
10 achate khutdo a moh vahlele hiu henlang, inn gem in vah mang jeng uhen.
May his sons be carried by those who walk unsteadily, and may they go begging. And may they be cast out of their dwelling places.
11 Bat le tham houvin a in alou chuleh anei agou kichom u hen, kholgam mihon asum lodoh jouse lahpeh uhen,
May the money lenders scrutinize all his belongings, and let foreigners plunder his labors.
12 koimachan lungset dauhen; koimachan paneilouva um achate chu khoto dauhen.
May there be no one to assist him, nor anyone to be compassionate to his orphaned children.
13 Ason apah jouse thisoh hen. A inn sung pumpiu min jong akhang cheh a din lah doh in um mai hen.
May his posterity be in utter ruin. In one generation, may his name be wiped away.
14 Yahweh Pakai in apateu chonsetna ngaidam hihbeh hen, anu-u chonsetna jong lekhabua kon in kikahdoh hihbeh hen,
May the iniquity of his fathers return in memory before the sight of the Lord, and do not let the sin of his mother be wiped away.
15 Yahweh Pakai in achonsetnau geldoh jinghen, chuleh aminjong mihemten geldoh hihbeh hen.
May these be opposite the Lord always, but let their memory perish from the earth.
16 Ajeh chu mi koima ngailut aneipoi, aman mivaichaho leh tahlelte abol genthei e, chuleh lung gentheite thina a adellut e.
For certain things are not remembered about them, in order to be merciful.
17 Ama mi samset athanom in; tun nang ama sugoi tan. Aman midang phatthei aboh khapoi; tun nangman ama jong phatthei boh hih in.
And so the destitute man was pursued, with the beggar and the remorseful in heart, so as to be put to death.
18 Mi sapset hi amadinga aponsil, atwidon, abuneh tobang a angaito ahitai.
And he loved a curse, and it came to him. And he was unwilling to have a blessing, and it went far from him. And he clothed himself with curses like a garment, and it entered his inner self like water, and it entered his bones like oil.
19 Tun amisapsetna chu hung kile henlang ama chunga pon bangin behdoh henlang angonga kong gah bangin kikhit chah hen,
May it be to him like a garment that covers him, and like a belt that always cinches him.
20 Tun hiche sapsetna hochu eiseise hole eidem demho chungah Yahweh Pakai engbolna chujohen.
This is the work of those who detract me with the Lord and who speak evils against my soul.
21 Hinla O thaneipen Yahweh Pakai neidin pi in, nangma min khoto najal chun! Neihuh doh in ajeh chu nangma hi chutobangtah a pha le kitah nahi.
But as for you, Lord, O Lord: act on my behalf for your name’s sake. For your mercy is sweet.
22 Ajeh chu keimahi mivaicha le tahlel tah kahin kalungthim hi ana behseh jenge.
Free me, for I am destitute and poor, and my heart has been disquieted within me.
23 Nilhah langa nisa lim achemang bang a mangthah ding kahi, min khaokhopi apaidoh banga eikipaidoh ahitai,
I have been taken away like a shadow when it declines, and I have been shaken off like locusts.
24 Ka ann ngol na-a kon in kakengpah ho kisan atha aumtapon kavunleh kagu keubou kahitai.
My knees have been weakened by fasting, and my flesh has been replaced by oil.
25 Keima hi muntin a mi totnopna bep kahitan amahon eimu tenguleh noisena'in alu-u eiheikhum jiuvin ahi.
And I have become a disgrace to them. They saw me, and they shook their heads.
26 Nei kithopin O Yahweh Pakai, ka Pathen Elohim! Nami ngailutna longlou chun neihuhdoh'in.
Help me, O Lord, my God. Save me according to your mercy.
27 Yahweh Pakai nangin ka chung ahi nangma natoh mong ahiti ahetchet nadiuvin musah'in.
And let them know that this is your hand, and that you, O Lord, have done this.
28 Hiteng chuleh amahon eisapset nom u jongleh eisamseuhen ajeh chu nangman phatthei neiboh ding ahinai. Amahon eihin delkhum tenguleh jumna akimudiu ahi. Ahinla nasoh keimavang kipah a kagalkai ding ahi.
They will curse, and you will bless. May those who rise up against me be confounded. But your servant will rejoice.
29 Eitaitom jingho vang jumna ponbanga akikhu khumdiu ahin, suhnem a aum nao chun ponbanga atomkhudiu ahi.
May those who detract me be clothed with shame, and may they be covered with their confusion, as if with a double cloak.
30 Ahinla kenvang Yahweh Pakai kom a kipathu kasei jingding mijouse kom a kasei choile ding ahi.
I will confess exceedingly to the Lord with my mouth. And I will praise him in the midst of the multitude.
31 Ajeh chu Aman tahlelte adinpi jingin suhmang ding gohoa kon in ahuhdoh jingin ahi.
For he stands at the right hand of the poor, in order to save my soul from persecutors.
