1 Pakai hi aphatjeh’in thangvahna peuvin, Ami ngailutna dihtah hi tonsot’a dettou jing ahi.
Give ye thanks unto Jehovah; for he is good; for his loving-kindness [endureth] for ever.
2 Pakai in nalhatdoh hitam? Achutileh phongdoh’in! Aman namelma holah’a kon a nahoidohsahhi miho seipeh’in.
Let the redeemed of Jehovah say so, whom he hath redeemed from the hand of the oppressor,
3 Ajeh chu Aman gam tamtah'a kon in solamle lhumlam’a kon in, sahlam le lhanglam a kon in sohchangho ahin puikhom’in ahi.
And gathered out of the countries, from the east and from the west, from the north and from the sea.
4 Miloi khathi gamthip gammah avahmang’un in le lou beijin avahmang’un,
They wandered in the wilderness in a desert way, they found no city of habitation;
5 gilkil leh dangchah geovin thiding konchan aummun,
Hungry and thirsty, their soul fainted in them:
6 “Pakai neipanpin” tin ahahsat nauva Pakai akouvun, chuteng Aman agenthei nauva kon in ahuhdohjin ahi.
Then they cried unto Jehovah in their trouble, [and] he delivered them out of their distresses,
7 Aman amaho chu bitkei chan apuijin achenna theiju khopi khatna akoijin ahi.
And he led them forth by a right way, that they might go to a city of habitation.
8 Pakai chu angailutna thupitah jehleh thil kidang tahtah abolpeh jeh’un thangvahna peuhen.
Let them give thanks unto Jehovah for his loving-kindness, and for his wondrous works to the children of men;
9 Ajeh chu Aman adangchah ho adangnou sah’in, agilkil’ah thilpha tamtah tothon a-oiva sahjin ahi.
For he hath satisfied the longing soul and filled the hungry soul with good.
10 Miloikhat muthim lah athimlah pen a atouvin, lunggimna thihkhaovin ahen oh’in ahi.
Such as inhabit darkness and the shadow of death, bound in affliction and iron,
11 Amaho Pathen thu dounan akiphin un, Pathen thumop chu anelpeh’un ahi.
Because they had rebelled against the words of God, and had despised the counsel of the Most High; ...
12 Hijeh chun Aman amaho chu akhut hamtah in avolhun, amaho alhuh phatnun koima akithopidiu aumpon ahi.
And he bowed down their heart with labour; they stumbled, and there was none to help:
13 Ahahsat tenguleh Pakai akoujiuvin “Pakai neipanpin” atiuve. Hitengle chun Aman athohgim nauva kon in ahuhdohjin ahi.
Then they cried unto Jehovah in their trouble, [and] he saved them out of their distresses;
14 Aman amaho chu muthimleh ahahsatnau thimjin banga thimlah a kon in apui galkaijin akihennao asutlhappeh’in ahi.
He brought them out of darkness and the shadow of death, and broke their bands in sunder.
15 Pakai chu ami ngailutna thupitah jehleh thil kidangtah tah abolpeh jeh’in thangvah uhen,
Let them give thanks unto Jehovah for his loving-kindness, and for his wondrous works to the children of men;
16 ajeh chu Aman sum-eng songkul kotpi avohlhahpeh’in chuleh akihennao thihkhao avohtan pehtan ahi.
For he hath broken the gates of bronze, and cut asunder the bars of iron.
17 Mingol themkhat chun boina asemuvin achonset jeh’un thohgimna atoh’un ahi.
Fools, because of their way of transgression, and because of their iniquities, are afflicted;
18 An le twi ngaichatnan athohlel lheh’un hiti chun amaho chu athiding kon ahiuve.
Their soul abhorreth all manner of food, and they draw near unto the gates of death:
19 “Pakai neikithopin” tin ahahsat tenguleh Pakai akoujiuvin Aman athohgim nauva kon in ahuhdohjin ahi.’
Then they cry unto Jehovah in their trouble, [and] he saveth them out of their distresses;
20 Aman thu changkhat agahseijin aboldamjin, thina kotbul a kon in aloidohtan ahi.
He sendeth his word, and healeth them, and delivereth them from their destructions.
21 Ami lungsetna thupitah jehleh amaho dinga thil kidang tamtah anabolpeh jeh’in Pakai chu thangvahna peuhen.
Let them give thanks unto Jehovah for his loving-kindness, and for his wondrous works to the children of men,
22 Kilhaina gantha pummin thangvahna peuhen, chuleh athilbol kidangtah ho jeh’in thangvahna peuhen.
And let them offer the sacrifices of thanksgiving, and declare his works in joyful song.
23 Mi phabep chu kong innei mangchan twikhanglen’ah vannoi leiset kiveina lampi ajotnun akitollun ahi.
They that go down to the sea in ships, that do business in great waters,
24 Amaho jonghin twikhanglen athuhlang tah’a Pakai thuneitah’a anatoh naleh thil thupi tahtah abolna ho amu’vin ahi.
These see the works of Jehovah, and his wonders in the deep.
25 Aman thu aseijin hui ahungnung doh’in twikhanglen ahin kinongsah’in ahi.
For he speaketh, and raiseth the stormy wind, which lifteth up the waves thereof:
26 Kong innei hochu vanlanga anuh touvin chule twi thuhlah’a ahung kilehlut kitjin kongtol hochu kichatnan akileh leleuvin ahi.
They mount up to the heavens, they go down to the depths; their soul is melted because of trouble;
27 Amaho jukhamho bangin a-onle leuvin kichat tijatjnin adim’un ahi.
They reel to and fro, and stagger like a drunken man, and they are at their wits' end:
28 “Pakai neihuh’un” tin ahahsat phatnun Pakai akouvun, Amanjong agimnauva kon in ahuhdohjin ahi.
Then they cry unto Jehovah in their trouble, and he bringeth them out of their distresses;
29 A-o neochakhat’in hui le guo kithochu athipsah’in chuleh twi kinong jong asutang’in ahi.
He maketh the storm a calm, and the waves thereof are still:
30 Hiche athip theina chu ichan gei a pha a phatthei bohna hitam? Kongchu kong mun’ah bitkeichan apuilut in ahi.
And they rejoice because they are quiet; and he bringeth them unto their desired haven.
31 Pakai chu angailutna thupitah jehleh thilkidang tamtah abolpehjeh’un thangvahna peuhen.
Let them give thanks unto Jehovah for his loving-kindness, and for his wondrous works to the children of men;
32 Nam lamkaiho masangleh, mipi kikhomho masangah japi hetthei doltah’in thangvahna peuhen.
Let them exalt him also in the congregation of the people, and praise him in the session of the elders.
33 Aman vadung jong neldigam asosahjin, twisam putna munho jong gamgo leh adangchahna asosahjin ahi.
He maketh rivers into a wilderness, and water-springs into dry ground;
34 Aman ga phatah sona gamphatah jong ima sodoh louna chitwi-al gamgo asosah thei in ahi, agamsunga cheng mipite phatmo jeh’a hitia chu abolji ahi.
A fruitful land into a plain of salt, for the wickedness of them that dwell therein.
35 Ahinlah Aman neldigam chu twikul asosah’in, chuleh gamgo jong twiputna mun asosahjin ahi.
He maketh the wilderness into a pool of water, and the dry land into water-springs;
36 Aman gilkel dangchah techu khopi semdoh dinga hiche mun a chu achensah ding ahi.
And there he maketh the hungry to dwell, and they establish a city of habitation;
37 Amahon aloulai uva muchi kitheuvin tin lengpigui tu uvintin ga lhingsetna akilodiu ahi.
And sow fields, and plant vineyards, which yield fruits of increase;
38 Aman ichan gei a phatthei aboh hitam? Amahon insungmi tamtah atungdoh’un chuleh aganchahou ninglhingset ding ahi.
And he blesseth them, so that they are multiplied greatly; and he suffereth not their cattle to decrease.
39 Ijemtia bolgentheina jal le, boina le hahsatna jal'a umho mihem a akemsuh uva avaichat phatnuleh,
And they are diminished and brought low, through oppression, adversity, and sorrow:
40 Pakai in alengteu hinpaidoh intin amaho gamgo laiya pannabei in umsah leleu vintin,
He poureth contempt upon nobles, and causeth them to wander in a pathless waste;
41 hinla Pakai in mivaichaho ahahsat nauva kon in kelngoihon phatah bangin ainsunga hinpunsah intin,
But he secureth the needy one on high from affliction, and maketh [him] families like flocks.
42 Miphahon hiche thilsoh hohi hinveu vintin kipahdiu ahinla miphalou hochu suhthipma umdiu ahi.
The upright shall see it, and rejoice; and all unrighteousness shall stop its mouth.
43 Michingho jousen hitia thilsoh hohi lunggiltah’in hinheu vintin, amahon hitobang ikhankhouva kon a hi Pakai mingailutna dihtah chu ahin mudohdiu ahi.
Whoso is wise, let him observe these things, and let them understand the loving-kindnesses of Jehovah.
