1 Pakai kom a kipathu sei in aloupina samphong’un. Vannoi leiset mihemte jousen ipi abol ham heuhen,
O give thanks unto the Lord; call on his name: make known among the people his deeds.
2 Aheng a la a sauvin; henge avahchoila saovin. Athilbol kidangho hi mijouse seipeh’un,
Sing unto, him, sing praises unto him: speak of all his wonderful works.
3 Amintheng hi domsang’un, nangho Pakai chibai bohte jouse kipah’un,
Glorify yourselves in his holy name: let the heart of those rejoice that seek the Lord.
4 Pakai athahatna chu kholchil in phattin’in amachu hol’un,
Inquire after the Lord and his strength: seek his presence evermore.
5 datmo um tahtah atohdoh ho chuleh thilkidang abolho, athupeh eipeh hou,
Remember his wonderful works which he hath done; his tokens, and the decrees of his mouth;
6 nangho asoh Abraham chate ho, Jacob chilhah ho alhendoh sate ho, geldoh’un.
O ye seed of Abraham his servant, ye children of Jacob, his elect.
7 Amahi Pakai Ipathen’u ahin, Ama thudih nahi gamsung jousea akimudoh sohkeijn
He is the Lord our God: over all the earth are his decrees.
8 Amahi akitepna itihchan hijongleh dingjing ahin, khang sangkhat dinga ana kipehdoh na,
He remembereth his covenant for ever, the word which he hath commanded, to the thousandth generation.
9 Abraham toh anasem kitepna chuleh Isaac kom a ana kihahselna,
Which he covenanted with Abraham; and his oath unto Isaac;
10 Aman Jacob kom ah daan khat apen anasuhdet in, chuleh Israel mipite dinga beithei lou kitepna ana sem in:
And which he established unto Jacob as a statute, unto Israel as an everlasting covenant:
11 “Keiman Canaan gam kapehding nahi, nang dinga jatchombeh’a kapeh natouphadiu gamchu ahi” anati.
Saying, “Unto thee will I give the land of Canaan, as the portion of your inheritance.”
12 Aman hichehi hon lhomcha ahipet’uva, Canaan gam'a kholjin hon lhomcha ahipet uva anasei ahi.
When they were but a few men in number; yea, very few, and strangers in it;
13 Amaho namkhat a kon a namkhat, lenggam khatna kona lenggam khat a akholjin pet’uva asei ahi.
And when they wandered from one nation to another, from one kingdom to another people:
14 Aman koimacha anasuh genthei sahpon ahi. Aman amaho huhnan namdang lengho chu anagih’in ahi.
He suffered no man to oppress them; yea, he reproved kings for their sake;
15 Kami lhentum hochu tongkha hih’un, chuleh kathemgao hojong tongkha hih’un,” anati.
[Saying, ] “Touch not my anointed, and do my prophets no harm,”—
16 Aman nehle chah hochu akhahtan’in Canaan gamah kel analhahsah’in ahi,
And he called for a famine over the land; every staff of bread he broke.
17 hiti chun amaho masanga Egypt gammachun mikhat anasol masan ahi, amaho soh a anajoh Joseph chu ahi.
He sent a man before them; for a servant was Joseph sold;
18 Amachu akengphang tenia thihkhao avouvin, angongchang’a thihkol a-opeh uve.
They forced into fetters his feet; in iron was his body put:
19 Amang lolhinna dinga thil ahung sodoh tokah’in Pakaiyin Joseph chu ahina tahbeh hetdohna dingin ana patepmin ahi.
Until the time that his word came to pass, [when] the saying of the Lord had purified him.
20 Hichejou chun Pharaoh’in amachu agakousah’in alhadohtai; Gamsung vaipopan songkul kotchu ahonpeh tai.
The king sent and unfettered him; the ruler of people, and let him go free.
21 Joseph chu lengpa insunga thil jouse chunga vaihom dingin apansahtan ahi. Hiti chun lengpa thil ho jouse chungah vaipon ahung pangtai.
He appointed him lord of his house, and ruler of all his possession:
22 Hiti chun aman adei bang tah in lengpa noi a vaihom pipuho chu avaihop in chule lengpa thumop lea pang ho chu ahil ji tai.
That he might bind his princes at his pleasure; and teach his ancients wisdom.
23 Hijouchun Israel chu Egypt gam alhungtan, Jacob chu Ham gamsunga chun gamchommi hinan anachengtan ahi.
Then came Israel into Egypt, and Jacob sojourned in the land of Ham.
24 Pakai in Israel mipite chu hapun’in apunsahtan hiti chun agalmite diuvin kichat aumleu tauvin ahi.
And he increased his people greatly, and made them stronger than their adversaries.
25 Hichun Egypt techu Israelte vetda dingin atildoh tan hijeh chun Pakai mite dounan tohgon aneitauvin ahi.
He turned their heart to hate his people, to deal subtilely with his servants.
26 Ahin Pathennin asoh Mose chu ahinsol’in aman ana lhendoh Aaron chutoh asolthan ahi.
He sent Moses his servant, Aaron also whom he had made choice of.
27 Amanin Egypt mite dounan melchihna kidangtah chuleh datmo um tahtah Ham gamsunga anatongdoh lhonnin ahi.
They displayed among them his effective signs, and wonders in the land of Ham.
28 Pakai in Egypt chu mu anathimsah tan ahi. Ajeh chu amahon Pakai thupeh Israelte soldoh dingchu ananom pouvin ahi.
He sent darkness, and made it dark; and they rebelled not against his word.
29 Aman twi thisan anasosah’in, ngaho dingin thina thei gu ahitan ahi.
He changed their waters into blood, and slew their fish.
30 Uphoh honjong agamsung’u alonvuh jengin lengpa lupna dansang jenga jong alhailut jengun ahi.
Their land brought forth frogs in abundance, in the very chambers of their kings.
31 Pakai in thu aseileh thousiho Egypt mite chunga ahung chu’uvin, Egypt gam pumpi thousi vaibong’in alo jengin ahi.
He spoke, and there came various wild beasts, lice also within all their boundary.
32 Aman go khel in gel anajuhsah’in, keh in agamsung’u anasepchap jengin ahi.
He gave them as their rain hail, and flames of fire in their land.
33 Aman alengpithei uleh atheichang ujong asuhmangpeh’in athingphung houjong asatchap jengin ahi.
And he smote their vines and their fig-trees, and broke the trees within their boundary.
34 Aman thu aseileh khaokhote ahung kitollutnun khaokho noute jong simsenlou ahung kitollut tauvin ahi.
He spoke, and the locusts came, and crickets, and that without number;
35 Amahon gamsunga ado eng jouse anechai jengun, loulai a anche louhing jouse jong achaidoh jengun ahi.
And they ate up all the herbs in their land, and ate up the fruit of their ground.
36 Hiche jouchun Aman Egypt te insung jousea chapa tahpen ho aban thapeh’in ahi. Hiti chun akitaipipen ule akipanapen hou asuhbei peh’in ahi.
And he smote all the first-born in their land, the first of all their strength.
37 Pakai in amite chu sana le dangka dimset pum in Egypt’a kon in ahin puidoh’in, Israel phung holah’a khat chajong akipallhua aumpouvin ahi.
And he brought them forth with silver and gold: and there was not one that stumbled among his tribes.
38 Egypt miten nana kichat behseh jeh’un apotdoh uchu ana kipapilheh jengun ahi.
Egypt rejoiced when they departed; for the dread of them was fallen upon them.
39 Pakai in sunleh meilom akhu khum sah’in janleh meikong in asalvah peh’in ahi.
He spread out a cloud for a covering, and fire to give light in the night.
40 Amahon sa athum uleh vamim alhalutpeh’in a-oivana diuvin van changlhah mama chu anapen ahi.
The people asked, and he brought quails, and with heavenly bread he satisfied them.
41 Aman songpi chu ahomsah’in twi ahung kiphidoh sah’in gamchai lah’a vadung bangin alondonsah’un ahi.
He opened the rock, and the waters gushed out: they ran in the dry places like a river.
42 Ajeh chu Aman asohpa Abraham kom a akitepna atheng chu ageldoh’in,
For he remembered his holy word given to Abraham his servant.
43 hijeh chun amite Egypt’a kon in amilhendoh chu kipah tah’in ahin puidoh’in ahi.
And he brought forth his people with gladness, with joyful song his elect.
44 Aman gamsung mite Pathen helou chitin namtinte chenna chu alahpeh’in ama mite hochu apen, hiti chun amahon mi tusa changlhah hochu aki-at’un ahi.
And he gave them the lands of nations; and the labor of people they obtained as an inheritance:
45 Hitiho jouse anachelhah sahchu amahon adaan thupeh leh athuhil ho dungjui a achon nadiu adeijeh ahi. Pakai chu thangvah’in umhen!
So that they might observe his statutes, and keep his laws. Hallelujah.
