< La Bu 10 >
1 O Yahweh Pakai, idia gam lhatah'a ding nahim? Genthei kathoh jiteng ibol'a kisel jia nahim?
Why, Jehovah, standest thou afar off? [Why] hidest thou thyself in times of distress?
2 Migilouten noise tah'in migentheite adel mangjiu vin, mi-o nadinga asem'u thang a chun amahojoh hin-o sah'in.
The wicked, in his pride, doth hotly pursue the afflicted. They shall be taken in the devices that they have imagined.
3 Ajeh chu amhon thilselam a alung ngaichat hou akiletsah piuvin, mikilose ho apah chauvin, Yahweh Pakai chu ataitom-un ahi.
For the wicked boasteth of his soul's desire, and he blesseth the covetous; he contemneth Jehovah.
4 Migilou te vang Elohim Pathen holdin akiletsah val un, alungthim pumpiu vin jong Elohim Pathen aum poi atiuve.
The wicked [saith], in the haughtiness of his countenance, He doth not search out: all his thoughts are, There is no God!
5 Ahinlah amaho hi abol-lam lam uvah alolhing'un ahi. Achung uva hunglhung ding eng-bolna ho jonghi amupha jipouve. Amahon agal-mihou jouse chu ataitom-un ahi.
His ways always succeed; thy judgments are far above out of his sight; [as for] all his adversaries, he puffeth at them.
6 Amahon, kachung'uva thilse kiti chulouding ahi tin atahsan un; boina hoa kona aitih a ongthol ding kahitaove atiuve.
He saith in his heart, I shall not be moved; from generation to generation I shall be in no adversity.
7 Akam-uvah sapsetna, joule nal, chule gihsalna adimset ui. Alei muh uva jong thilse le thilphalou jeng aum e.
His mouth is full of cursing, and deceit, and oppression; under his tongue is mischief and iniquity.
8 Amahon khopam lam gamthip lah hoa mi achanglhi jiuvin, them-mona neilouho thading agojiuve. Amit un alhasam te umna aching lhi jingun ahi.
He sitteth in the lurking-places of the villages; in the secret places doth he slay the innocent: his eyes watch for the wretched.
9 Keipi bahkaiho bang'in akisel'un lhasam le hatloute mat jeng dingin angahun ahi. Sachangho bang'in tah-lelte chu len akhu khum un amandoh jitaove.
He lieth in wait secretly, like a lion in his thicket; he lieth in wait to catch the afflicted: he doth catch the afflicted, drawing him into his net.
10 Lhasam a bolsetna toh te chu asugep jiuvin; miphalouho thahatna noi a chun alhalut jitaove.
He croucheth, he boweth down, that the wretched may fall by his strong ones.
11 Migilou ten Elohim Pathen in eimupha pouve atiuve! Aman amit sing intin, “Eihon ibol uhi mu hih beh inte” atiuve!
He saith in his heart, God hath forgotten, he hideth his face, he will never see [it].
12 Hung kipat tan O Yahweh Pakai, migiloute hi gotna petan, O Elohim Pathen! Hatlou lhasam te hin sumil hih beh in.
Arise, Jehovah; O God, lift up thy hand: forget not the afflicted.
13 Migiloute Elohim Pathen sam se pum puma iti ongthol diu ham? Amahon Elohim Pathen in eithemmosah pouvinte tin angai touve.
Wherefore doth the wicked contemn God? He hath said in his heart, Thou wilt not require [it].
14 Ahinlah Yahweh Pakai nangin athilse bol-houhi namusoh keije. Nangin hicheho hi melchih inlang amahohi gotna pen. Hatlou lhasam ten atahsan nao nanga akoi un, nulou palou te jong nangin vengbit in.
Thou hast seen [it], for thou thyself beholdest trouble and vexation, to requite by thy hand. The wretched committeth himself unto thee; thou hast been the helper of the fatherless.
15 Hiche migilou mi-engseho hi abanjang-u heh bongin! abon-uva nasuhmang kahsen anung u deljingin.
Break thou the arm of the wicked, and as for the evil man, seek out his wickedness [till] thou find none.
16 Yahweh Pakaihi atonsot tonsot leng ahi! Elohim Pathen neilou nam mitechu gamsung akon a mangthah ding ahiuve.
Jehovah is King for ever and ever: the nations have perished out of his land.
17 Yahweh Pakai nangin tah-lelte kinepna hi nahetsa ahi, nangin thon louva akana-u najahpeh'a nahin lhamon ding ahi.
Jehovah, thou hast heard the desire of the meek, thou hast established their heart: thou causest thine ear to hear,
18 Nangin nulou palou te leh bolgentheija umho chungthu adih'a natanpeh ding, chuteng athi thei mihem in amaho hi asuh lengvai theilou diu ahitai.
To do justice to the fatherless and the oppressed one, that the man of the earth may terrify no more.
