< Thuchihbu 9 >
1 Chihna kiti hin a-in akisahdoh in, khompi sagi jen atungdoh tan ahi.
Wisdom has built her house, She has hewn out her pillars—seven.
2 Chihna kiti hin, neh le chah ding gancha phabep akitha jin, lengpi twi jong lhumkeijin ahel-in, chule chihna kiti hin an-nehna ding dokhang jeng jong atungdoh tan ahi.
She has slaughtered her slaughter, She has mingled her wine, Indeed, she has arranged her table.
3 Munsang laija kon'in khopi sung mihoa kon chun, mikou din asohte asol in ahi.
She has sent forth her girls, She cries on the tops of the high places of the city:
4 Koi hileh milham a um jouse, “Kakom'a hung hen,” tin akousah in ahi. Chule koi hileh alungthim bei tapou chu, kou-un, ati.
“Who [is] simple? Let him turn aside here.” Whoever lacks heart: she has said to him,
5 “Hung un, kaneh ding khel in neuvin, kadon ding khel in lengpitwi don un.
“Come, eat of my bread, And drink of the wine I have mingled.
6 Milham in um hih un, giltah in hetkhenna neijin hinkho mang un,” ati.
Forsake the simple and live, And be blessed in the way of understanding.”
7 Mi munem'a noisea, adih bolsah teiding gopan jong kisuh khahna aneilo-bep ahi.
The instructor of a scorner Is receiving for it—shame, And a reprover of the wicked—his blemish.
8 Hijeh chun mi munem pum-a adih bolsah teiding go-hih in, ajeh chu nahin mudalo thei ahi. Hinlah miching chu hil lechun nangailua pang jo-ding ahi.
Do not reprove a scorner, lest he hate you, Give reproof to the wise, and he loves you.
9 Miching chu nahil chan'a ching cheh cheh ding, hibang chun mikitah jong nahil chan'a ching cheh ding ahi.
Give to the wise, and he is wiser still, Make known to the righteous, And he increases learning.
10 Yahweh Pakai ginna hi chihna bulpi ahin, mithengpa hetna nei chan chun giltah'a thu ahetdoh ahi.
The commencement of wisdom [is] the fear of YHWH, And a knowledge of the Holy Ones [is] understanding.
11 Ajeh chu keima jal'a na hinkho sao chom ding, na hinkho sunga nakum jong kibe tei ding ahi.
For by me your days multiply, And years of life are added to you.
12 Na chihna chu nangma goh-keuseh ding ahin, midang noisena nanei le mona chu na changseh a nakipoh ding ahi.
If you have been wise, you have been wise for yourself, And you have scorned—you bear [it] alone.
13 Numei ngol kiti chu akam tam in, amanu chu pannabei le jum helou ahi.
A foolish woman [is] noisy, Simple, and has not known what.
14 Amanu chu a-in kot phunga atoujin, kholai jenga jong mundoh lai a bou atoujin ahi.
And she has sat at the opening of her house, On a throne—the high places of the city,
15 Amanun mi ama kincheh a kisalel akom'a hung kijot hochu “akou jin,”
To call to those passing by the way, Who are going straight [on] their paths.
16 Chule milham ho koma chun kakom'a hung un tin, akouvin, lungthim beija um jouse tin akoujin ahi.
“Who [is] simple? Let him turn aside here.” And whoever lacks heart—she said to him,
17 “Aguh'a kidon twi hi alhum in, aguh a kineji changlhah jong lungkim umtah ahi,” ati.
“Stolen waters are sweet, And hidden bread is pleasant.”
18 Hinlah golhangpa chun hiche mun hi thina ahi ti, aheji pon, numeinu insunga lhung jinhon jong noimi-gam mithi kholna'a lhalut ahilam-u, akihet phahji tapouve. (Sheol )
And he has not known that Rephaim [are] there, Her invited ones in deep places of Sheol! (Sheol )
