Adonai spoke to Moses [Drawn out] in the wilderness of Sinai [Thorn], in the first month of the second year after they had come out of the land of Egypt [Abode of slavery], saying,
2 Kalchuh kut kiman na ding phat kitepna a hi aman ding uvin Israel mite chu seipeh tan,
“Moreover let the children of Israel [God prevails] keep the Pesac ·Passover· in its appointed season.
3 hichu lha masa pen nisom le nili lhina a khojin chip chep phat hiding ahi. Hiche kipathanop kibol ding dan thupeh ho leh dan umho phate a najui sah ding ahi.
On the fourteenth day of this month, at evening, you shall keep it in its appointed season— according to all its statutes, and according to all its judgments, you shall keep it.”
4 Mosen jong mipi henga kalchuh kut kipa golnop abol ding uvin aseipeh tan ahi,
Moses [Drawn out] spoke to the children of Israel [God prevails], that they should keep the Pesac ·Passover·.
5 ajeh chu Sinai lhang gamthip lah a nisomle nili ahung lhin a khovah chip chep in ahinphah den un ahitai. Pathen in Mose thu apeh bang bang chun amahon jong kipagolnop chu aboltauvin ahi.
They kept the Pesac ·Passover· in the first month, on the fourteenth day of the month, at evening, in the wilderness of Sinai [Thorn]. According to all that Adonai enjoined Moses [Drawn out], so the children of Israel [God prevails] did.
6 Ahinlah ama ho lah a mi phabep chun mithi long ana thamkhah jeh un, chonna ngai bang in akisuboh a ahitauvin, hiche nikho a Kalchuh kut kipa golnop a chun alha thei tapouve. Hiche nikho chun Mose leh Aaron kom a ahung un
There were certain men, who were unclean because of the dead body of a man, so that they could not keep the Pesac ·Passover· on that day, and they came before Moses [Drawn out] and before Aaron [Light-bringer] on that day.
7 “keihon mithi long ka tham khah tah jeh un, chonna ngai banga atheng louva ka hi tauve. Hijong leh Israel mipin asem leng a keihon jong Pathen ang a maicham kasem mo diu ham?” ahungtiuvin ahi.
Those men said to him, “We are unclean because of the dead body of a man. Why are we kept back, that we may not offer the offering of Adonai in its appointed season among the children of Israel [God prevails]?”
8 Mose chun a donbut, “Nangho ding a Pathen a kon a hilchahna kamu kah khongai un” ati.
Moses [Drawn out] answered them, “Wait, that I may sh'ma ·hear obey· what Adonai will enjoin concerning you.”
9 Pakaiyin Mose ahin donbutna chu hiche hi ahi.
Adonai spoke to Moses [Drawn out], saying,
10 “Hiche hilchahna ho hi Israel mipite seipeh in: Tukhang hihen lang khang hunglhung ding ho hijongleh chonna ngai bang a akisuhboh kha hihen, kholgam a chedoh ho hijongleh Kalchuh kut kipa golnop a pangthei ding u ahi.
“Say to the children of Israel [God prevails], ‘If any man of you or of your generations is unclean by reason of a dead body, or is on a journey far away, he shall still keep the Pesac ·Passover· to Adonai.
11 Kalchuhkut kipa golnop kichai lhakhat lhin teng kalchuh kut maicham thilto abol ding u ahi, hichu lhani lhinna a nisom le nili lhinna khojin chip chep phat hiding ahi. Hicheteng chuleh Kalchuh kut kelngoi sa chu anche kha le cholsolou changlhah toh aneh tha dingu ahi.
In the second month, on the fourteenth day at evening they shall keep it; they shall eat it with matzah ·unleavened bread· and bitter herbs.
12 Amahon kelngoi chu jingkah khovah geija akoi thei lou ding u, chuleh hiche agu jong asuh boh thei lou dingu ahiye. Kalchuh kut kiman na chungchang a dan umho hi ajui cheh ding u ahi.
They shall leave none of it until the morning, nor break a bone of it. According to all the statute of the Pesac ·Passover· they shall keep it.
13 “Ahin Israelmi hiya chon na ngai a aboh jong hilou, kholche a jin doh jong hilou, ahivang a Kalchuh kut nahsah lou miho chu Israel nampi akonna kah lhah’a umding ahi. Pathen maicham jong aphat tah ahin todoh lou leh achonsetna jal a themmo chang a um ding ahiuve.
But the man who is clean, and is not on a journey, and fails to keep the Pesac ·Passover·, that soul shall be cut off from his people. Because he didn’t offer the offering of Adonai in its appointed season, that man shall bear his sin.
14 Nangho lah a nam dangmi Kalchuh kut golnop a jaonom aumleh, nit ding leh jui ding a kipe jouse hi anit ngaiyin, hiche dan hin Israel nam chilhah a kon hihenlang, gamdang chilhah a kon a koi hijongle akan soh kei ding ahi.
“‘If a foreigner lives among you, and desires to keep the Pesac ·Passover· to Adonai; according to the statute of the Passover, and according to its ordinance, so shall he do. You shall have one statute, both for the foreigner, and for him who is born in the land.’”
15 Houbuh ahin phudoh nikho uchun, meilom in Houbuh chu atom tan ahi. Houbuh chung nga meilom nilhah apat jingkah geiya umchu meikong lomtoh abang jeng in ahi.
On the day that the tabernacle was raised up, the cloud covered the tabernacle, even the Tent of the Testimony: and at evening it was over the tabernacle as it were the appearance of fire, until morning.
16 Hiche meilom houbuh chung a um, jan tengle meikong alom a hung kilah ji tobang chun aum jing tan ahi.
So it was continually. The cloud covered it, and the appearance of fire by night.
17 Houbuh chunga meilom chu akihohdal ji teng, Israel mipiten hiche amaicham ponbuh chu aphet lhah jiuvin meibol lom chu ajui ji uvin ahi. Chuleh hiche meilom akingah ngah na a chun Israel mipi ten ngahmun akisemkit jiuvin ahi.
Whenever the cloud was taken up from over the Tent, then after that the children of Israel [God prevails] traveled; and in the place where the cloud remained, there the children of Israel [God prevails] encamped.
18 Hitichun che ding a Pathen thupeh amu dung juiyin lam ajot un, ngahmun asa jiuvin ahi. chuleh houbuh chung a meilom aum chan chun ngahmun dalhalouvin aum jiuvin ahi.
At the order of Adonai, the children of Israel [God prevails] traveled, and at the order of Adonai they encamped. As long as the cloud remained on the tabernacle they remained encamped.
19 Hiche meilom chu Houbuh chung nga nisot tah aum ji teng Israel techu akichol jiuvin Pathen Houna dinga atoh ding umho chu atong jiuvin ahi.
When the cloud stayed on the tabernacle many days, then the children of Israel [God prevails] kept Adonai’s charge, and didn’t travel.
20 Phatkhat khat teng Pathen thupeh dungjui in meilom chu Houbuh chung nga ni chom chacha bou akingaji in, amaho jong ni chomcha bou akichol jiuve. Chuteng Pathen thupeh dung in ngahmun chu aphet lha uvin ache jomkit jitauvin ahi.
Sometimes the cloud was a few days on the tabernacle; then according to the order of Adonai they remained encamped, and according to the order of Adonai they traveled.
21 Phat chomkhat kit teng Meilom chu jankhovah in aum in Jingkah teng akichon doh jin ahi. Ahinlah sun hihen jan hita jong leh hiche meilom chu ahung ki hohdoh teng ngahmun chu aphetlha jiuvin ache jom jingji un ahi.
Sometimes the cloud was from evening until morning; and when the cloud was taken up in the morning, they traveled: or by day and by night, when the cloud was taken up, they traveled.
22 Houbuh maicham chunga meilom chu ni ni umhen, lhakhat umhen, ahilouleh kumkhat umjong leh, Israel mipite chu ngahmun na chun aki chol jing jiuvin apotdoh jipouvin ahi. Amavang Meilom chu Houbuh chunga ahung kihoh dal teng ngahmun chu aphet un achejom kit jitauvin ahi.
Whether it was two days, or a month, or a year that the cloud stayed on the tabernacle, remaining on it, the children of Israel [God prevails] remained encamped, and didn’t travel; but when it was taken up, they traveled.
23 Hitichun Pakai thupeh bangtah in akichol un, akalsong jing un ahi, chule Pathen in Mose a kon a athupeh jouse chu abolkim soh jing un ahi.
At the order of Adonai they encamped, and at the order of Adonai they traveled. They did what Adonai charged them to do through Moses [Drawn out].
