< Minbu 8 >
1 Pakaiyin Mose henga aseiyin,
Then the LORD said to Moses,
2 “Aaron in hiche hilchahna ho hi pe in: Thaomei khom sagi chu atunna a natundoh teng le, amalam ma thaomei khom mailah chu a salvah jou nading nading in tundoh in.”
“Speak to Aaron and tell him: ‘When you set up the seven lamps, they are to light the area in front of the lampstand.’”
3 Aron in chutichun aboltan ahi. Thaomei khom Sagiho chun amailam salvahna din Pakaiyin Mose henga asei bang bang chun atungdohtan ahi.
And Aaron did so; he set up the lamps facing toward the front of the lampstand, just as the LORD had commanded Moses.
4 Hiche thaomei khom aboncha a, akhombul apat ajem kisemna changei chu sana kikhen a kisemdoh ahi. Hiche hi Pathen in Mose alim umding dol avetsah bangtah a kisem a ahi.
This is how the lampstand was constructed: it was made of hammered gold from its base to its blossoms, fashioned according to the pattern the LORD had shown Moses.
5 Chuin Pakaiyin Mose henga ahisei in,
Again the LORD spoke to Moses, saying,
6 “Tun Israel mipi adangho jouse a kon in Levite tumkhen inlang, chonna dan ngai bang in sutheng sohkei in.
“Take the Levites from among the Israelites and make them ceremonially clean.
7 Kisuhtheng na tui chu nathinkhum ding, amaho apumpiuva atahsa uva amul jouseu kivoumui diu chule amanchah jing apon hou akisoptheng diu ahi. Hitia chu abolteng uleh chonna dol a atheng a ahitauve.
This is what you must do to cleanse them: Sprinkle them with the water of purification. Have them shave their whole bodies and wash their clothes, and so purify themselves.
8 Bongchal gol khat leh lhosohga maicham a kon a changbong Olive thao a kisunum chip chep, chule Bongchal golkhat mama toh chonset kilheina maicham a ding a ahin to dingu ahi.
Then have them take a young bull with its grain offering of fine flour mixed with oil, and you are to take a second young bull for a sin offering.
9 Chuteng Israel nam mite jouse chu nakhopkhom a Houbuh kotphung a umdia Levite chu na peh doh ding ahi.
Bring the Levites before the Tent of Meeting and assemble the whole congregation of Israel.
10 Pathen na dinga Levite chu napeh doh teng le, Israel miten amaho chunga chu akhut u angap diu ahi.
You are to present the Levites before the LORD and have the Israelites lay their hands upon them.
11 Aaron in akhut teni adopsanga Israel mipite lah a kon a Levite chu Pathen a dinga atumbeh a katohna aneiding, hitiachu Pathen lhacha natong ding a lhandohna anei ding ahi.
Aaron is to present the Levites before the LORD as a wave offering from the sons of Israel, so that they may perform the service of the LORD.
12 Hiche jouteng chule Levite jousen Bongnou achalni chung nga khut ngapna anei diu, Bongchalnou khat chu chule chonset maicham kisem chu pumgo maicham kisem na ding ahin, Pathen henga Levite chun ki suhtheng na anei diu cham dela umdiu ahiye.
And the Levites are to lay their hands on the heads of the bulls, and offer to the LORD one as a sin offering and the other as a burnt offering, to make atonement for the Levites.
13 Aaron le achaten Levite chu Amaho ma sanga adin sah uva, akhot u adop sang jou teng uleh Pathen masanga loupi tah’a maicham a sempeh diu ahi.
You are to have the Levites stand before Aaron and his sons and then present them before the LORD as a wave offering.
14 Levite chu Israel mipi telah akonna natum khandoh diu, ajeh chu amaho keija umjing diu ahi.
In this way you shall separate the Levites from the rest of the Israelites, and the Levites will belong to Me.
15 Hi chengse kichai teng, Houbuh sunga chu lut diu ana toh diu ijakai ajom thei diu ahi tai. Ajeh chu Pakaiyin amaho chu asuh thenga na pehdoh ahi tan nangma heng nga loupi tah ana peh doh ahi tai.
After you have cleansed them and presented them as a wave offering, they may come to serve at the Tent of Meeting.
16 Israel mipite ding in Levite hi keima dinga kikoisa ahin Israelte chi lhah’a pang masa pen ho chu keima kona phondoh le lhen doh tum ahi tai. Levite chu numei chilhah apat kilah doh ahiye.
For the Levites have been wholly given to Me from among the sons of Israel. I have taken them for Myself in place of all who come first from the womb, the firstborn of all the sons of Israel.
17 Israel mipite lah’a peng masapen mihem pasal ahin gancha hi jong leh keima ahi soh keiyin, Egypt mite pasal chapa masapen jouse kana suhmang nia pat chun keima dinga kana gontup sa ahi tai.
For every firstborn male in Israel is Mine, both man and beast. I set them apart for Myself on the day I struck down all the firstborn in the land of Egypt.
18 Levite phung hi keiman Israelte lah’a chapa peng masa penna ka koi ahi tai.
But I have taken the Levites in place of all the firstborn among the sons of Israel.
19 Aaron le achate ho hi Levite vetup ding nga ki sem ahi tai. Israelte tha khel lah maicham Houbuh a kin theng na tong ding ahiuvin, pumgo maichamma kisuh thengna kin thenga a na tong le ding mong mong ahiuve.
And I have given the Levites as a gift to Aaron and his sons from among the Israelites, to perform the service for the Israelites at the Tent of Meeting and to make atonement on their behalf, so that no plague will come against the Israelites when they approach the sanctuary.”
20 Mose Aaron chule Israel mipi jousen Levite chu alheng doh un Pathen in amaho thu apeh dung juiyin abol tauvin ahi.
So Moses, Aaron, and the whole congregation of Israel did with the Levites everything that the LORD had commanded Moses they should do.
21 Leviten achonset na’u chu aki soptheng uvin chule aponsil ho jong aki noilhah un. Pathen masang nga loupi tah in maicham asem peh tai. Aaron in amaho chu maicham athengsel na ding uvin abolpeh in ajeh chu Pathen toh chamdela aum na diu ahiye.
The Levites purified themselves and washed their clothes, and Aaron presented them as a wave offering before the LORD. Aaron also made atonement for them to cleanse them.
22 Chu teng Levite chu Houbuh maicham’a sunglha diu kintheng na toh apat diu, Aaron le achaten aki thopi diu ahiye. Amaho thu nit ding aki pat jouse Pathen in Levite jui dinga Mose ahin hetsah ho chun anit soh keiyun ahi.
After that, the Levites came to perform their service at the Tent of Meeting in the presence of Aaron and his sons. Thus they did with the Levites just as the LORD had commanded Moses.
23 Chu in PakaiyinMose hengah hiti hin aseiyin ahi.
And the LORD said to Moses,
24 Hiche dan hi Leviten anit’u ngaijin, Houbuh sunga chu kintheng na toh apat na diuva chu kum-somni le nga beh alhin’u ngaiding ahiye.
“This applies to the Levites: Men twenty-five years of age or older shall enter to perform the service in the work at the Tent of Meeting.
25 Chule Levite chu kum-somnga alhin teng ule kichol thei ding ahitauve.
But at the age of fifty, they must retire from performing the work and no longer serve.
26 Levite chu akichol joulam teng ule asopiu aloi agol hon Houbuh kimvella ajenle a jong pangthei nalaiju ahi. Ahin lah akintheng na tong vang pang thai ta lou ding ahi. Hi chengse hi Levite kin theng natoh na muna aman chah diu dan ahiye.
After that, they may assist their brothers in fulfilling their duties at the Tent of Meeting, but they themselves are not to do the work. This is how you are to assign responsibilities to the Levites.”
