1 Pakaiyin thu hichengse hi Mose hilchahna anei e:
And YHWH speaks to Moses, saying,
2 “Israel mipite lah a koi hijong leh tiphah nei, boina nei, ahilouleh mithilong suhkhah jeh a chonna dan dungjui a athenglou a uma ahileh, ngahmun chu adalhah sah nading uvin thu pen.
“Command the sons of Israel, and they send out of the camp every leper, and everyone with discharging, and everyone defiled by a body;
3 Hiche thupeh hi numei leh pasal chung a umgel ding ahi. Ngahmun a amaho lah a cheng kahin, asuhboh lou nading un amaho chu koidoh un.”
you send out from male even to female; you send them to the outside of the camp and they do not defile their camps in the midst of which I dwell.”
4 Hichun Pakaiyin Mose thu apeh bang chun Israel mipiten hitobang hochu ngahmun a kon in akoimang, hiti chun aboltauve.
And the sons of Israel do so, and they send them out to the outside of the camp; as YHWH has spoken to Moses so the sons of Israel have done.
5 Chuin Pakaiyin Mose henga thu aseiyin,
And YHWH speaks to Moses, saying,
6 Anoija hilchahna chengse hi Israel mipite pen: Pasal hihen, numei hihen, koi hijeng jongleh, midang chung a thilphalou bol a Pathen joulhep a chu themmo chang a ahitai.
“Speak to the sons of Israel: Man or woman, when they do any of the sins of man, by committing a trespass against YHWH, and that person [is] guilty,
7 Amahon achonsetnau aphondoh teitei diu chuleh athilbol khel cheng chu aboncha a aledit ding ahi. Hiche chungvum a asuhkhel na pachu asuhkhelna jakhat lah a 20 abelap peh nalai ding ahi.
and they have confessed their sin which they have done, then he has restored his guilt in its principal, and is adding its fifth to it, and has given [it] to him in reference to whom he has been guilty.
8 Ahinlah aki suhkhel napa chu athi tah a, asuhkhel ho dit nading asopi a-u, a-nao aumtah louva ahile, pehdinga umjouse chu Pathen ding ahitan chuleh thempuho kipe ding ahiuve. Themmona neiho vang chun Pakai henga kilheina dia kelngoinou ahin kai ding, chuteng suhtheng a umdiu, Pathen toh kicham diu ahi.
And if the man has no redeemer to restore the guilt to, the guilt which is restored [is] to YHWH for the priest, apart from the ram of the atonements, whereby he makes atonement for him.
9 Israelten pumgo thilto ahin poh jouseu aboncha a ama chanding ahi.
And every raised-offering of all the holy things of the sons of Israel, which they bring near to the priest, becomes his;
10 Atheng a kipehna a hung kitohho jouse aman asan chan chu, ama ama thempu cheh chun akikoi ding ahiye.
and any man’s hallowed things become his; that which any man gives to the priest becomes his.”
11 Chuin Pakaiyin Mose kom a aseiyin ahi.
And YHWH speaks to Moses, saying,
12 “Israel mite chu hiche hilchahna ho hohi pen. “Vetsahnan pasal khat ji chu achon chavei tan, chuleh ajipa a ding in kitahlouvin aum tan
“Speak to the sons of Israel, and you have said to them: When any man’s wife turns aside, and has committed a trespass against him,
13 chule Pasal dang toh ajong tan, ahin ajipa ahin midang ahin koimacha in ahedoh tapon ahi. Koimacha ahetoh umlouva, ajon bolpettah a akimat lou jeng vang a, amanu chu ama le ama kisuboh a ahitai.
and a man has lain with her [with] the seed [from] intercourse, and it has been hid from the eyes of her husband, and concealed, and she has been defiled, and there is no witness against her, and she has not been caught,
14 Itiham khat a ajipa chun ajinu chu aginmo a athangthip a, amanu akisuhboh akisuhbohlou hettei ding agot leh,
and a spirit of jealousy has passed over him, and he has been jealous [for] his wife, and she has been defiled—or a spirit of jealousy has passed over him, and he has been jealous [for] his wife, and she has not been defiled—
15 ajipa chun ajinu chu thempu ang a ahin puilut ding ahi. Chuleh chang suhbongsa pucha ni chu amanu khel a ahinto ding ahi. Hiche chu Olive thao le gimnamtui toh nahel lou ding ahi, ajehchu hiche kilhaina hin a in-neipi chu kisuboh aham, kisubohlou ham ti photchetna dinga thangtomna a kibol ahi.
then the man has brought in his wife to the priest, and he has brought in her offering for her—a tenth of the ephah of barley meal; he does not pour oil on it, nor does he put frankincense on it, for it [is] a present of jealousy, a present of memorial, causing remembrance of iniquity.
16 “Chuteng Thempupan Numeinu chu Pakai thutanna ang a adinsah ding ahiye.
And the priest has brought her near, and has caused her to stand before YHWH,
17 Thempu chun leikhonlen a tuitheng themkhat asodoh a Houbuh mai leitol a konna leivui alahdoh chu asunkhum ding ahi.
and the priest has taken holy water in an earthen vessel, and the priest takes of the dust which is on the floor of the Dwelling Place, and has put [it] into the water,
18 Thempu pan hiche numeinu chu Pathen henga ahin kilahsah teng, amanu sam chu alheplhah peh ding chule akhutteni chu hettohsah kilhaina a chu akoipeh ding ahi - hichu inneipu ginmona chu atah alhem ahi hetthei na dinga kibol ahi. Hiche teng Thempu chu numeinu nunglam a ding, athemmo pen pen gaosap chan na ding tuikha umna leikhonlen, chu ahin dop ding ahi.
and the priest has caused the woman to stand before YHWH, and has uncovered the woman’s head, and has given the present of the memorial into her hands (it [is] a present of jealousy), and the bitter waters which cause the curse are in the hand of the priest.
19 Hiche teng chule Thempupan numeinu kitepna noi a aumsah a, “Najipa thunoiya naum sung a Pasal dangtoh nana chonset khah louva, nana chonchatvei louva nana kisuhboh lou leh, hiche gaosapna tuikhatah hi nathoh jou ding himei tahen” tia asei ding ahi.
And the priest has caused her to swear, and has said to the woman, If no man has lain with you, and if you have not turned aside [to] uncleanness under your husband, be free from these bitter waters which cause the curse;
20 Ahinlah na in-neipu adia kitahjou lou jeh a nana chekhel khah tah a, pasal dang toh nana chonset a nana kisuhboh khah tah a ahileh,'
and you, if you have turned aside under your husband, and if you have been defiled, and a man commits his intercourse with you besides your husband—
21 “Thempu pan numeinu chu kitepna noi a aum sah ding, hitia hi asei ding ahi, ‘Pakaiyin chaneithei louva nakoi a, nanaobun panna aneilouva, nathong apomsah teng mipi jousen Pakai sapsetna nachunga lhung ahitai ti hehen.
then the priest has caused the woman to swear with an oath of execration, and the priest has said to the woman—YHWH gives you for an execration and for a curse in the midst of your people, in YHWH’s giving your thigh to fall and your belly to swell,
22 Tuhin hiche sapsetna tuihi nasung a lut henlang, nathong pomsah hen lang, naobu jong pannabei himai tahen.’ Chuleh numeinu chu, ‘Henge, hung lhung tahen’ atisah ding ahi.
and these waters which cause the curse have gone into your bowels to cause the belly to swell and the thigh to fall; and the woman has said, Amen, Amen.
23 Chule Thempupa chun hiche sapsetna thucheng ho chu savun chunga ajihdoh a hiche tuikha a chu a sop lhah ding ahi.
And the priest has written these execrations in a scroll, and has blotted [them] out with the bitter waters,
24 Hiche sapsetna polut tuikha chu numeinu adonsah ding ahi. Itiham khat a hiche numei chu themmo chang ahikhah leh tui chun amanu oisung aphah teng, hiche chun khajenjun a athohlelsah ding ahi.
and has caused the woman to drink the bitter waters which cause the curse, and the waters which cause the curse have entered into her for bitter things.
25 Thempu pan hiche thangtom kilhaina chu numeinu khutna kon a alahdoh a, Pakai masang a dopsang ding, chuleh maicham phung a achoi ding ahitai.
And the priest has taken the present of jealousy out of the hand of the woman, and has waved the present before YHWH, and has brought it near to the altar;
26 Thempupa chun hiche changbong khutsip dim khat chu mangmo thilto ding a ahamdoh a maicham phunga ahalvam ding, tui chu numei adonsah teitei ding ahi.
and the priest has taken a handful of the present, its memorial, and has made incense on the altar, and afterward causes the woman to drink the water;
27 Hiche numeinu chu a jipa angsung a kitah joulouva ana kisuboh khah tahleh, hiche sapsetna po tui chun numeinu chu khajenjun a atholelsah ding ahi. athong hung poh ding chule anaobu jong panna bei hiding, chuteng chuleh amanu min chu amite lah a sapsetna hiding ahitai.
indeed, he has caused her to drink the water, and it has come to pass, if she has been defiled and commits a trespass against her husband, that the waters which cause the curse have gone into her for bitter things, and her belly has swelled, and her thigh has fallen, and the woman has become an execration in the midst of her people.
28 Ahinlah amanu chu anathen jinga kisuhbuh khah lou ahileh, imacha tilou ding, naosen jong aneithei ding ahi.
And if the woman has not been defiled, and is clean, then she has been acquitted, and has been sown [with] seed.
29 “Hiche hi ginmona thu suhlhepna dinga chonna dan ahi. Numei chu ajipa thuneina noiya aum sung a akisuhboh khah a ana chon chatvei khah tah a,
This [is] the law of jealousies when a wife turns aside under her husband and has been defiled,
30 ahilouleh Pasal khat chun ajinu chu kitahjoulou ding a ahin ginmo khah tahleh, ajipa chun ajinu chu Pakai angsung a apui ding, chuteng Thempu chun hiche chonna dan jouse hi abol ding ahi.
or when a spirit of jealousy passes over a man and he has been jealous of his wife, then he has caused the woman to stand before YHWH, and the priest has done to her all this law,
31 Hiche thua vang ajipa themmona itobang hijong leh ongthol ding, ajinu vang achonsetna dungjuiya themmo chang ding ahi.”
and the man has been acquitted from iniquity, and that woman bears her iniquity.”
