1 Pakaiyin Mose henga hiti hin aseijin ahi.
And YHWH speaks to Moses, saying,

“Make two trumpets of silver for yourself; you make them of beaten work, and they have been for you for the convocation of the congregation, and for the journeying of the camps;
3 Hiche Pengkul teni chu ahung kimut ji teng mipi ho chu Houbuh lutna kotphung a nangma masang nga hungkhom ji ding u ahi.
and they have blown with them, and all the congregation has assembled to you at the opening of the Tent of Meeting.
4 Ahinlah pengkul khat bou chu ahung kimut tah vangleh Lamkai hobou - Israel phung lamkai jouse atahsa tah uva na masang a hung kilah cheh diu ahi.
And if they blow with one, then the princes, heads of the thousands of Israel, have assembled to you;
5 Nangma in hiche gin a chu hetsahna nanei teng, Houbuh a kon solam a ngahmun nei phung ho chun angahmun u chu aphet lhah uva malam a chu che jom ding ahiuve.
and you have blown—a shout, and the camps which are encamping eastward have journeyed.
6 Nangma in hiche gin a hetsahna anivei channa nanei teng lhanglam a ngahmun neihon ajui ding u ahi. Achejom jing ding u hetsahana a chu nangman agin chom naginsah ding ahi.
And you have blown—a second shout, and the camps which are encamping southward have journeyed; they blow a shout for their journeys.
7 Ahinlah mipi kikhom khom hen nati teng, pengkul chu awgin chomjep in mut in.
And in the assembling of the assembly you blow, and do not shout;
8 Aaron chilhah, thempu ho bou chun pengkolho amut thei ding u ahiye. Hiche hi nanga ding a akhang akhang a aumden jing ding leh nitjing ding dan chu ahi.
and sons of Aaron, the priests, blow with the trumpets; and they have been for a continuous statute to you throughout your generations.
9 “Nangma ho gamsung nga na hung lut uva, nangho doujing namelmateho sat ding a nakon doh ding teng uleh pengkulho kigottup nadia naginsah diu ahi. Hiche teng chu leh na Pakaiyin na hin geldoh ding, na melmate akonna nahuh doh ding ahi.
And when you go into battle in your land against the adversary who is distressing you, then you have shouted with the trumpets, and you have been remembered before your God YHWH, and you have been saved from your enemies.
10 Na pengkulho chu kipa thanop phat na jong na mut ging ding, kumsung a kipa golnop ho leh lha thah hung ki sim pan phat ho a jong namut ging ding ahi. Hiche pengkulho chu kipana maicham kisem phat hihen, pumgo maicham kibol sih hijongle hiche maichamho chung a chu namutging ding ahi. Hiche pengkulho gin chun na Pathen ana kitepna hin gel doh sah ding ahi. Keima na Pakai, Pathen chu ka hiye.”
And in the day of your gladness, and in your appointed times, and in the beginnings of your months, you have also blown with the trumpets over your burnt-offerings, and over the sacrifices of your peace-offerings, and they have been for a memorial to you before your God; I [am] your God YHWH.”

And it comes to pass, in the second year, in the second month, on the twentieth of the month, the cloud has gone up from off the Dwelling Place of the Testimony,

and the sons of Israel journey in their journeys from the wilderness of Sinai, and the cloud dwells in the wilderness of Paran;

and they journey at first by the command of YHWH in the hand of Moses.

And the standard of the camp of the sons of Judah journeys in the first [place], by their hosts, and over its host [is] Nahshon son of Amminadab.

And over the host of the tribe of the sons of Issachar [is] Nathaneel son of Zuar.
16 Chule Zebulun chilhah hon ajom un, Helon chapa Eliab chu ahinlamkai in ahi.
And over the host of the tribe of the sons of Zebulun [is] Eliab son of Helon.
17 Hichun Houbuh chu aphet lha uvin Levite sung a kon a Gershon te le Merari te chun houbuh apo uvin abanjom in acheuvin ahi.
And the Dwelling Place has been taken down, and the sons of Gershon and the sons of Merari have journeyed, carrying the Dwelling Place.
18 Reubente ho aloiloi a umho chun aponlap noi uva abanjom un, Sheduir chapa Elizer chun amaho ahin lamkai in ahi.
And the standard of the camp of Reuben has journeyed, by their hosts, and over its host [is] Elizur son of Shedeur.
19 Aban achu Semeonte aloiloi a umhon ahinjuiyun, amaho Lamkai pachu Shelumiel, Zunishadai chapa ahi.
And over the host of the tribe of the sons of Simeon [is] Shelumiel son of Zurishaddai.
20 Chule aloiloi a um Gadte ahiuvin, Elisab kitipa, Deuel chapan ahin lamkai in ahi.
And over the host of the tribe of the sons of Gad [is] Eliasaph son of Deuel.
21 Hiche banjom chu Levite lah a kon a Kohathte ahiuvin houbuh sung a manchah atheng ho jouse ahin po un ahi. Ngahmun thah alhun masang un Houbuh chu Ngahmun thah a chun tun dohsan ana um jitan ahi.
And the Kohathites have journeyed, carrying the Dwelling Place, and the [others] have raised up the Dwelling Place until their coming in.
22 Hiche banjomma chun Ephraimte chu aponlop noiuvah aloiloi in ahung kitol un ahi. Amaho Lamkai a hungpang a chu Amihud chapa Elishama ahi.
And the standard of the camp of the sons of Ephraim has journeyed, by their hosts, and over its host [is] Elishama son of Ammihud.
23 Amaho chu Manasseh te aloiloi a umho chun ahinjui un, Pedahzur chapa Gamaliel kitipan ahin lamkai un ahi.
And over the host of the tribe of the sons of Manasseh [is] Gamalial son of Pedahzur.
24 Chuleh Benjamin phung a kon aloiloi a umho ahiuvin, Abidan chapa Gideon in ahin lamkaiyin ahi.
And over the host of the tribe of the sons of Benjamin [is] Abidan son of Gideoni.
25 Anunung pen chu Dan phung a aponlap noi a aloi loi a kitolho ahiuvin, amaho hi phungho jouse ngahmun vengtup a ahiuve. Amaho Lamkai pachu ahi leh Ahiezel, Ammishaddai chapa ahiye.
And the standard of the camp of the sons of Dan has journeyed (rearward to all the camps), by their hosts, and over its host [is] Ahiezer son of Ammishaddai.
26 Amaho Banjomma hung kitol ho chu ahileh Okran chapa Piegel lamkaina a Asherte aloiloi a umho ahiuve.
And over the host of the tribe of the sons of Asher [is] Pagiel son of Ocran.
27 Chuleh Enan chapa Ahira in ahin lamkai, Naphtali te aloiloi a umhon ahin jui un ahi.
And over the host of the tribe of the sons of Naphtali [is] Ahira son of Enan.
28 Hitia hi agol gol a Israel chilhahte, ama ama kihopkhen dol cheh a hung kitol jiu ahi uve.
These [are] the journeys of the sons of Israel by their hosts when they journey.
29 Nikhat chu Mose’n ajinu sopi pa, Median mipa Reuel chapa Hobab kom a aseiyin, “eiho hi Pakaiyin ei tep pehnao lam chu jot jing ihiuve, ajehchu Pakaiyin asei chu, 'ka pehding nahiuve'. Nangma keima holah hung tan, keihon nangma ngailut tah a kabol diu ahi, ajehchu Pakaiyin Israelte chu kidangtah phattheina ho bohding kitepna anei ahi' ati.
And Moses says to Hobab son of Raguel the Midianite, father-in-law of Moses, “We are journeying to the place of which YHWH has said, I give it to you; go with us, and we have done good to you, for YHWH has spoken good concerning Israel.”

And he says to him, “I do not go; but I go to my land and to my family.”

And he says, “Please do not forsake us, because you have known our encamping in the wilderness, and you have been to us for eyes;

and it has come to pass, when you go with us—indeed, it has come to pass—that good which YHWH does kindly with us, we have done it kindly to you.”

And they journey from the mountain of YHWH a journey of three days; and the Ark of the Covenant of YHWH is journeying before them [for] the journey of three days, to spy out a resting place for them;

and the cloud of YHWH [is] on them by day, in their journeying from the camp.

And it comes to pass in the journeying of the Ark, that Moses says, “Rise, O YHWH, and Your enemies are scattered, and those hating You flee from Your presence.”
36 Chule thingkong chu akikoi lhah teng, “Simsenlou asang sang umna Israelte heng a hung ki le kit tan Pakai” tia aman aseikit ding ahi.
And in its resting he says, “Return, O YHWH, [to] the myriads, the thousands of Israel.”
