Matthew 4

Then Jesus was led up into the wilderness by the Spirit to be tempted by the devil.

And having come the [one] tempting he said to Him; If Son You are of God, (do speak *NK(O)*) that stones these loaves of bread may become.
4 Hinlah Yeshuan ajah a, “Ahipoi! Pathen Thubun aseiye, Mihem changlhah bouva hingthei ahipoi, Pathen kam sunga kon hung potdoh Thua bou chu hing ding ahi,” ati.
But answering He said; It has been written: Not by bread alone will live (the *no*) man, but (by *NK(o)*) every declaration coming out through [the] mouth of God.’
5 Chuin Diabol chun khopi theng, Jerusalem hou in ting vuma chun adinsah kit in,
Then takes Him the devil to the holy city and (set *N(k)O*) Him upon the pinnacle of the temple
6 ajah a, “Nangma Pathen Chapa nahileh, ki chomlhan!” Ajeh chu Pathen Thubun aseiye, “Aman avantil te nangma hongbit dinga thu apeh ding, chule amahon nangma akhut uva nadop doh dingu chutia chu nangman nakeng phang jeng jong songa nakita khah lou ding ahi,” ati.
and says to him; If Son You are of God, do throw Yourself down; it has been written for that To the angels of Him He will give orders concerning You, and in [their] hands will they bear up You otherwise otherwise You may strike against a stone the foot of You.’
7 Yeshuan adonbut in, “Pathen Thubun hitin jong aseiye, nangman Pakai na Pathen chu lhem patep hih in,” ati.
was saying to him Jesus; Again it has been written: Not you will test [the] Lord the God of you.’
8 Chujouvin Diabol in molsang chungvum a chun apuiyin chule vannoi lenggam jouse le aloupina ho avetsah in ahi.
Again takes Him the devil to a mountain high exceedingly and shows to Him all the kingdoms of the world and the glory of them
9 Aman ajah a, “Nangma naboh khup'a chule keima nei houva ahileh, keiman nangma aboncha hi kapeh ding nahi,” atikit in ahileh,
and (he says *N(k)O*) to Him; These things to You all will I give, if falling down You shall worship me.
10 Yeshuan ajah a, “Satan, hichea kon hin potdoh'in. Ajeh chu Pathen Thubun aseiye, nangman Pakai na Pathen chu nahouva chule Amabou najen ding ahi,” ati.
Then says to him Jesus; do go away (behind me *O*) Satan; it has been written for: [The] Lord the God of you you will worship and Him alone will you serve.’
11 Chutah in Diabol chu ache mang in, chuin Vantil te ahung un, Yeshua chu ahung jen le tauve.
Then leaves Him the devil, and behold angels came and they were ministering to Him.
12 Yeshua chun John aman tauve tithu ajah phat in, Judea gam adalhan Galilee gama ahung kile kittai.
Having heard now (Jesus *k*) that John was delivered up He withdrew into Galilee.
13 Ama amasatah in Nazareth chen, chuin chu mun chu adalhan, Zebulun le Naphtali gamkai sung Galilee twipi panga, Capernaum khoa aga cheng in ahi.
And having left Nazareth, having come he dwelt at Capernaum which [is] on the sea-side in [the] region of Zebulun and of Naphtali,
14 Hichu Isaiah Themgao kam a Pathen thusei:
that it may be fulfilled that having been spoken through Isaiah the prophet saying:
15 “Zebulun le Naphtali gam, twipi pam, Jordan vadung gal'a Galilee gam, chidang nam dang tampi umna mun,
Land of Zebulun and land of Naphtali, way of [the] sea beyond the Jordan, Galilee of the Gentiles —
16 muthim lah a touho chun vah loupi tah amu tauve, chule thina gam le alim a touho chu achung'uva kho avah tai,” ati chu agui lhunna ahi.
The nation the [one] sitting in (darkness *NK(o)*) light have seen great, and to those sitting in [the] land and in a shadow of death a light has dawned on them.
17 Hichea pat chun Yeshuan thu asei phong in, “Na chonset nauva kon in lung heiyun chule Pathen lama hung ki heiyun, ijeh inem itileh Van gam anai tai,” ati.
From that time began Jesus to proclaim and to say; do repent; has drawn near for the kingdom of the heavens.
18 Nikhat hi Yeshua Galilee twipi pam'a achea avale pet in, aman uchani—Simon, Peter jong kitipa le Andrew in twi lah a len asepet lhon agatoh e, ajeh chu amani ngaman a kivah lhon ahi.
Walking now (Jesus *k*) beside the Sea of Galilee He saw two brothers, Simon the [one] being named Peter and Andrew the brother of him casting a net into the sea; they were for fishermen.
19 Yeshuan amani chu akouvin, “Hung lhon in, kanung hinjui lhon in chule keiman miho iti mat ding ahi navetsah lhon inge,” ati.
And He says to them; Come after Me, and I will make you fishers of men.
20 Chuin amanin apet tah chun alen lhon adalha lhon in chule Ama nung ajui lhon tai.
And immediately having left the nets they followed Him.
21 Chule Ama chukom'a kon chun ache pai in ahileh, ucha dang mini Jacob le anaopa John kong sunga apau Zebedee toh atou khom uva len akhui phat pet'u aga mun, chuin Aman amani jong chu akouvin ahi.
And having gone on from there He saw others two brothers, James the [son] of Zebedee and John the brother of him in the boat with Zebedee the father of them mending the nets of them, and He called them.
22 Amanin chupet tah chun kong le apa adalha lhon in, anung ajui pai jeng lhon tai.
And immediately having left the boat and the father of them they followed Him.
23 Chule Yeshua chu Galilee gamkai sea akhol jin in, Judah te kikhopna intin ah thu ahil in, Lenggam Kipana Thupha aseiphong len ahi. Chule Ama chun miho natna jouse le adamlou jouse chu aboldam in ahi.
And He was going (through *no*) (all Galilee *N(k)O*) (Jesus *ko*) teaching in the synagogues of them and proclaiming the gospel of the kingdom and healing every disease and every sickness among the people.
24 Ama chung chang thu chu Syria geiyin aki thang doh in, hiti chun miho chun ana damlou jouse chu akom a ahin puiyuve. Chule itobang natna le hivei neiya nat thoh lel ho, thilha vop ho le alung chavai ho hihen, chule langthi ho hijong leh Ama koma ahin puiyun, aman amaho chu aboncha uvin aboldam sohkeiyin ahi.
And went out the news of Him into all Syria; And they brought to Him all the sick having various diseases and by pains oppressing, and those being demonised and those being epileptic and those paralytic; and He healed them.
25 Ama chena chan a chun Galilee, Decapolis (Khopi som kitina), Jerusalem chule Judea gama kon le Jordan gal lama kon in, mipi tamtah'in anung ajui tauvin ahi.
And followed Him crowds great from Galilee and [the] Decapolis and Jerusalem and Judea and beyond the Jordan.
