< Mark 9 >
1 Yeshuan aseibe nalaiyin, “Keiman tahbeha kaseipeh nahiuve, tua hichea dingho kimkhat hi Pathen gam thaneitah'a ahung lhun amu kahseuva thina tepkhalou ding aumuve!” ati.
He said to them, "Truly I tell you, there are some standing here who will in no way taste death until they see the Kingdom of God come with power."
2 Nigup jouvin Yeshuan Peter, James chule John atumbeh in molsang chungah apui touvin ahi. Chuah amaho angsung laitah-a Yeshua avou akikheltan,
After six days Jesus took with him Peter, James, and John, and brought them up onto a high mountain privately by themselves, and he was changed into another form in front of them.
3 Aponsil chu vah bangin aemleng jengin, leiya koiman pon hitobanga chu asop bang theilou khop'in abangin ahi.
His clothing became glistening, exceedingly white, such as no launderer on earth can whiten them.
4 Chuin Elijah le Mose ahung kilah lhonin Yeshua chu ahoulimpi lhonin ahi.
Elijah and Moses appeared to them, and they were talking with Jesus.
5 Chuin Peter in, “Houhil, hikoma iumuhi eiho din anom ngeiye! Geldoh jingna din lhambuh thum song uhite—Nang ding khat, Mose ding khat chule Elijah ding khat,” atin ahi.
Peter said to Jesus, "Rabbi, it is good for us to be here. Let us make three tents: one for you, one for Moses, and one for Elijah."
6 Hiche asei hi akichat behseh jeh'a seiding hetmoa asei ahi.
For he did not know what to answer, for they became very afraid.
7 Chuin meilhang khat'in amaho chu ahin lekhun, meilah-a konin aw ahung gingin, “Hichehi ka-Chapa deitah chu ahi, athu ngaiyun!” ati.
A cloud came, overshadowing them, and a voice came out of the cloud, "This is my beloved Son. Listen to him."
8 Chuin akimvelu avet uleh, koimacha amutahih un, Mose le Elijah chu anachemang tan, Yeshua changseh le amaho changbou aumtauvin ahi.
Suddenly looking around, they saw no one with them anymore, except Jesus alone.
9 Molla kon'a ahung kumsuh jing laiyun, Yeshuan athilto-u chu Mihem Chapa athia kon'a athodoh kit kahsea koima jah-a aseidohlou diuvin akhamgah-in ahi.
As they were coming down from the mountain, he commanded them that they should tell no one what things they had seen, until after the Son of Man had risen from the dead.
10 Athusei chu alunguva aching jingun, athia kon'a athodoh kit chu ipi aseina ahidem, tin akidongto jiuvin ahi.
They kept this saying to themselves, questioning what the "rising from the dead" meant.
11 Chuin amahon adongun, “Ibola danthusunhon Messiah hung masanga Elijah hung kit masa ding ahi atiuham?” atiuleh Aman adonbut in,
They asked him, saying, "Why do the scribes say that Elijah must come first?"
12 “Elijah chu hungmasa'a ijakai ahung semphat ding mong ahi. Ahinla Pathen Thubun Mihem Chapan gimhesoh tamtah athoh ding chule mite nahsahmoa um ding ati ham?
And he said to them, "Elijah indeed comes first, and restores all things. And why is it written of the Son of Man that he should suffer many things and be rejected?
13 Kaseipeh nahiuve, Elijah chu hunga ahitai, chule thil hungsoh ding anakisut bangtah'in isahlou tah'in anabol tauve,” atin ahi.
But I tell you that Elijah has come, and they have also done to him whatever they wanted to, even as it is written about him."
14 Chuin seijui dangho henglama ahung kileuva ahileh, amaho chu mipin anaumkimvelu chu amuvin, hou lamkai phabep khattoh jong anakinel un ahi.
And when they came to the disciples, they saw a large crowd around them, and scribes questioning them.
15 Mihonpin Yeshua amu phatnun, akipah thanomun ahengah ahung lhaiyun, ahung lamtouvin ahi.
Immediately all the crowd, when they saw him, were greatly amazed, and running to him greeted him.
16 Hichun Yeshuan, “Amaho khutoh ipi thua kinel nahiuvem?” tin adongtai.
He asked them, "What are you arguing about with them?"
17 Mipi lah'a konin mi khat in ahin donbut in, “Pakai, kachapa nadamsah dingin nahenga kahin puiye. Amahi lhagaoboh-in avop in, apao dohsah thei tapoi.
And one out of the crowd answered him, "Teacher, I brought to you my son, who has a mute spirit;
18 Hoikom hijongle lhagaoboh hin amat matna'ah aheh lhujin, chule achilphon alhan, aha ageljin chule alhasamdel ji tai. Hijeh a chu naseijuite koma einodohpeh diuva kangeh leh abolthei pouve,” ati.
and wherever it seizes him, it throws him down, and he foams at the mouth, and grinds his teeth, and wastes away. I asked your disciples to cast it out, and they weren't able."
19 Hichun Yeshuan akomuvah, “Tahsanna neilou mite! Itihchan kaumpi ding nahiuvem? Kahenga chapangpa chu hin pui tangu,” atitai.
And answering, he said to them, "You unbelieving generation, how long must I be with you? How long must I put up with you? Bring him to me."
20 Hichun chapangpa chu ahin puiyui. Ahin lhagaoboh-in Yeshua amu phatnin, chapangpa chu nasatah'in aveingoiyin ahileh tolla alhun, achilphon akai letlut in akitel lelen ahi.
They brought him to him, and when he saw him, immediately the spirit convulsed him, and he fell on the ground, wallowing and foaming at the mouth.
21 Chuin Yeshuan chapangpa apa jah-a, “Ahitinahi itih-a pat hitam?” tia adoh leh, apan, “Aneolaiya kipan ahitai.
He asked his father, "How long has it been since this has come to him?" He said, "From childhood.
22 Tha dingin abangleh meiya, abangleh twiyah alehlutjin ahi. Hijongle Nangman alonaje nahet leh kachunguva khotona neipumin neikithopin,” tin aseitai.
And it has often cast him both into fire and into water, to destroy him. But if you can do anything, have compassion on us, and help us."
23 “Alonaje nahet leh, nati chu ipi naseina ham? Atahsanho dingin ijakai ahithei soh keiye,” tin Yeshuan adonbut e.
Jesus said to him, "'If you can?' All things are possible to him who believes."
24 Hichun hetman louvin chapangpa apa chu ahung kapjah jengin, “Pakai, katahsan'e, katahsan lelna abeina din neikithopin,” tin ataotai.
Immediately the father of the child cried out and said, "I believe. Help my unbelief."
25 Chuin Yeshuan mi ahung kikhop tam chehcheh amu phatnin lhagao-boh chu aphoh-in, ajah-a, “Ngaiyin, nang lhagao phalou, chapangpa paomosah le nangonsahpa, thu kapeh nahi, chapangpa sunga konin hung Potdoh inlang lutkit tahih-in!” ati.
When Jesus saw that a crowd came running together, he rebuked the unclean spirit, saying to him, "You deaf and mute spirit, I command you, come out of him, and never enter him again."
26 Hichun lhagaoboh chu apengjah jengin, chapangpa chu hatah in aveingoiyin, chuin adalhatai. Chapangpa chu athi bangin aumtan, mihonpi chu akihou lahlah-un, “Athi hitakhu!” atiuvin ahi.
Having screamed, and convulsed greatly, it came out of him. The boy became like one dead; so much that most of them said, "He is dead."
27 Ahin Yeshuan akhut in amanin, akaithouvin ahileh ahung thoudoh jengtan ahi.
But Jesus took him by the hand, and raised him up; and he arose.
28 Chujou chomkhat jouva Yeshua le aseijuite insunga aumlaiyun aseijuiten, “I-atileh keihon kanodoh lel'u ahidem?” tia adoh-ule,
And when he had come into the house, his disciples asked him privately, "Why could we not cast it out?"
29 Yeshuan adonbut in, “Hitobang hi taona thahatna'a bou kinodoh thei ahi,” ati.
And he said to them, "This kind cannot come out by anything but prayer and fasting."
30 Chumun chu adalha uvin, Galilee gam ajot un, min ahetdoh diu chu Yeshuan adeipoi.
They went out from there, and passed through Galilee. He did not want anyone to know it.
31 Ijeh-inem iti leh Aman aseijuite toh phat mankhoma thuhil ding phat angaichan ahi. Hichun Aman ajah-uva, “Mihem Chapa chu melmate khut'a pehdoh-a umding ahi. Amahon atha dingu, ahivanga nithum nileh Ama thoudoh kit ding ahi,” ati.
For he was teaching his disciples, and said to them, "The Son of Man is being handed over to the hands of men, and they will kill him; and when he is killed, after three days he will rise again."
32 Athusei chu ipi asei ham ti ahethei pouvin Ama doh dingla akichauvin adong ngam pouve.
But they did not understand the saying, and were afraid to ask him.
33 Amaho Capernaum ahung lhungun, chuin insung aumpet'un ajah uva, “Lamdunga chu ipi nangaitou ham?” tin adongin ahi.
He came to Capernaum, and when he was in the house he asked them, "What were you arguing on the way?"
34 Ahin, adonbut theipouve, ajehchu alah uva koichu alenpen hintem ti akinel ahiuve.
But they were silent, for they had disputed one with another on the way about who was the greatest.
35 Hichun Yeshua atouvin somleni ho chu akouvin, “Koihileh amasapen hinom chu nukhah pending ahi, chule mijouse jenlea pang hiding ahi,” ati.
And he sat down, and called the twelve; and he said to them, "If anyone wants to be first, he must be last of all, and servant of all."
36 Chuin chapang neocha khat alaiyuva adinsah-in, chuin apomin ajah uva,
He took a little child, and set him in the midst of them. Taking him in his arms, he said to them,
37 “Koihileh keima min'a hitobang chapang neokhat sanga chun keima eisan ahi, chule koihileh keima eisang chan chun, keima bou eisan hilouvin eihinsolpa jong sana hi,” ati.
"Whoever receives one such little child in my name, receives me, and whoever receives me, does not receive me, but him who sent me."
38 Hichun John'in Yeshua komah, “Houhil, amin'a thilha nodoh mi khat kamu uvin, hinla ama chu eiho lah-a pang ahilou jeh-in kakham tauve,” ati.
John said to him, "Teacher, we saw someone casting out demons in your name; and we forbade him, because he was not following us."
39 Yeshuan adonbut in, “Kham hih-un, kamin'a thil kidang bol a keima eiseiseloi thei koima aumpoi.”
But Jesus said, "Do not forbid him, for there is no one who will do a mighty work in my name, and be able quickly to speak evil of me.
40 Koi hijongle eidouloupou chu eilama pang ahi.
For whoever is not against us is for us.
41 Koi hijongle Messiah nungjui-mi ahi tiatwi khon khat donding napechan'u chu, tahbeha kaseipeh nahiuve, itinama jongle ama chun kipaman asan ding ahi.
For whoever will give you a cup of water to drink in my name, because you belong to the Christ, truly I tell you, he will in no way lose his reward.

Whoever will cause one of these little ones who believe in me to stumble, it would be better for him if he was thrown into the sea with a millstone hung around his neck.
43 “Chule nakhut langkhat'in nachonsetsah'a ahileh tanbong jengin. Khut ni neiya meikong mittheilou damun'a che sangin tibukimlou khut langkhatseh toh hinkemlouna-a lut aphajoi. (Geenna )
If your hand causes you to stumble, cut it off. It is better for you to enter into life maimed, rather than having your two hands to go into hell, into the unquenchable fire, (Geenna )
44 Chu mun'a chu thanho thi dehlou ding, mei jeng jong mit talou ding ahi.

48 Chu mun'a chu thanho thi dehlou ding, mei jeng jong mit talou ding ahi.
'where their worm does not die, and the fire is not quenched.'
49 Ijeh-inem itileh mijouse meiya chisoa kiso ding, chule gankikat jouse chi kiso-al ding ahi.
For everyone will be salted with fire, and every sacrifice will be salted with salt.
50 Chihi apha ahivang in a-alna beita henlang tamtaleh ipia ki-alsah kit ding hitam? Chi bang in gun neiyun lang khat le khat chamdelin um uvin,” ati.
Salt is good, but if the salt has lost its saltiness, how can you make it salty? Have salt in yourselves, and be at peace with one another."
