< Mark 14 >
1 Hichun Kalchuh Kut le Cholsolou Changlhah Kut kimanna ding nini aumtan ahi. Thempu pipui holeh dan thusun hon Yeshua chu, guhthima mat'a thatheina ding lampi anahol jing nalaiyun ahi.
Now two days later was the feast of the Passover and of Unleavened Bread. Both the chief priests and the Scribes were continually seeking how they might arrest him by a stratagem and kill him;
2 Ahin, “Kalchuh Kut sung hidahen, achuti loulegh mipi lah-a thunoh umget inte,” tin akinopto uve.
but, "Not on a feast-day," they said, "for fear there should be a riot among the people."
3 Chuin Yeshua chu Bethany muna Simon phah anaveipa, in'ah alhunge. Chua an aneh laiyin numei khat'in songval bomin thaonamtui mantamtah ahin choiyin, abom chu asukeh-in aluchungah abunglhan ahi.
And while he was in Bethany, in the house of Simon the Leper, while he was dining, a woman came with an alabaster vase of very costly, pure spikenard perfume, and, breaking the vase, she poured the perfume on his head.
4 Ahin alah uva loikhat chu alungnommo'uvin, “Ibol'a hitia hi thaonamtui mantam kimoh suhmang hitam?
Some of those who were present said among themselves indignantly. "Why has the perfume been wasted like this?
5 Ijeh-inem itileh hiche thaonamtui hi kijohleh kum lhunga thalo jat toh kikot intin, hichu vaicha gentheiho pehthei hiding!” atiuvin aphunkhum tauvin ahi.
That perfume could have been sold for more than one hundred and fifty dollars, and given to the poor."
6 Ahinlah Yeshuan adonbut in, “Amanu chu oimo hih-un, keima'a dinga thilphatah abol ahitai.
So they began upbraiding her, but Jesus said. "Let her alone. Why are you troubling her?
7 Ijeh inem iti leh vaicha le gentheiho nakomuva aum jing nauve, nagot chan uva nahu theiyu ahi. Kei vang nakom uva um jing ding kahipoi.
She has done a beautiful thing to me. For you always have the poor among you, and can show them kindness whenever you wish, but me you will not always have.
8 Amanun abolthei chan abol ahitai. Ka thilong chu vuiya ahung umtheina dinga thao einu masat ahitai.
She has done what she could. she has before time anointed my body for my burial.
9 Keiman tahbeh'a kaseipeh nahiuve, vannoi pumpia Kipana Thupha kilhangsapna chan'a hiche numeinu thilbol jong hi amanu hetjingna'a kisei toupeh ding ahi,” ati.
I tell you in solemn truth that wherever the gospel is preached throughout the whole world, there what she has done shall be told in remembrance of her."
10 Chuin somleni ho lah'a mi khat Juda Iscariot chun Yeshua chu matsah theina dingin thempu ho henga aga chen ahi.
Now Judas Iscariot, one of the Twelve, went away to the high priests to betray Jesus to them;
11 Amahon ahet phat'un akipatdoh un, ama chu sumpeh ding in atem tauvin ahi. Chuin aman Yeshua chu pehdoha matsah theina ding agomkom aholtan ahi.
and they were glad when they heard it, and promised to pay him money. So he kept looking for an opportunity to betray him.
12 Cholsolou Changlhah Kut nimasa nia Kalchuh Kut kelngoi atha pet uvin aseijuiten ajah-ah, “Kalchuh Kut Ankong hoikoma kagon diu nadeiyem?” atiuvin ahi.
And the first day of the feast of Unleavened Bread, the day for killing the paschal lamb, his disciples asked him, "Where do you want us to go and make preparation for you to eat the Passover?"
13 Hichun aseijui mi ni khopi sunga gache lhon din asolin, “Khopi sung nalut lhon teng, twibel pua mi khat nato lhon ding ahi. Amachu jui lhonin.
Then he sent two of his disciples, and told them. "Go into the city, and you will meet a man carrying a jar of water.
14 Ama alutna inneipa jah-a chun, ‘Houhil'in: kaseijuite toh Kalchuh Kut ankong kasokhomna diu indan chu hoilai ham? ati,’ gati lhon in.
Follow him; and whatever house he enters, say to the master of the house, ‘The Teacher asks, "Where is your guest-chamber, where I may eat the Passover with my disciples?"‘
15 Chule ama tah-in insong chunga indan lentah gontupsa a kikoi khat navetsah lhon ding ahi. Hikom chu ahi inehkhomna diuva nagonna diu mun chu,” ati.
He will himself show you a large, upper room, furnished and ready. there make preparation for us."
16 Chuin seijui teni chu apot lhon in, khopi sungah alut lhon in, akisei bang chun imajouse chu agatoh lhonin, Kalchuh Kut an ding chu agagong lhon tai.
So the disciples went off, and came into the city, and found everything as he had told them.
17 Hichun nilhah-in Yeshua aseijuite toh chua chun agalhung tauve.
So they made ready the Passover, and as night fell he came, with the Twelve.
18 Atou uva an aneh laitah-un, Yeshuan aseiyin, “Tahbeha kasei ahi, tua kaneh khompi lah-a khat hin eipeh doh ding ahi,” ati.
While they were at the table, eating, Jesus said solemnly. "It is one of you who will betray me - one who is eating with me."
19 Amaho alungkham pan tauvin, banneichan khat khat in ahin dongui, “Kei kahim?” tin.
They began to be sorrowful and to say to him, one after another, "Surely, not I?"
20 Aman adonbut in, “Nangho somleni lah'a khat, tua lhengkong kasokhompi hi ahi.
"It is one of the Twelve," said Jesus, "one who is dipping into the same dish with me.
21 Mihem Chapa chu athi ding dol masanglai peh'a pat Thubua anakiseisa ahitai. Hinama jongleh, Mihem Chapa melmate khut'a pedoh-a johdohpa chu—Ohe, ada nading e! Ama chu apen'a anapenglou hile ama dinga phajo dinga!” ati.
For the Son of man is going his way, as the Scripture says, but woe to that man through whom the Son of man is betrayed! It were good for that man if he had never been born."
22 Chuin a-anneh laitah'un Yeshuan changlhah phabep alan, hichu phatthei aboh in, chuin ahehbalbal'in aseijuiteho apen, “Hichehi katahsa ahi, neuvin,” ati.
And as they were eating he took bread, and after the blessing, broke it, and gave it to them, saying, "Take it, this is my body."
23 Chule khon'a lengpitwi alan, phatthei aboh-in amahochu apen, chutichun abonchauvin adonsohkei tauvin ahi.
Then he took a cup, and when he had given thanks, he gave it to them, and they all drank of it,
24 Chuin Aman ajah'uva aseiyin, “Hiche hi ka thisan, Pathen le amite kah'a kitepna thah um photchetna ahi. Hiche hi mi tamtah chonset ngaidamna dinga longdoh ahi.
and he said. "This is my covenant blood, which is poured out for many.
25 Tahbeha kaseipeh nahiuve, keiman Pathen Lenggama athah-a kadon kit ni ding tailou lengpitwi hi kadonlou ding ahitai,” ati.
Solemnly I tell you I will drink no more of the fruit of the vine, until that day I drink it new in the kingdom of God."
26 Hichun la asauvin, chujouvin apotdoh'un Olive Lhang lamah ache tauvin ahi.
Then they sang a hymn and went out to the Mount of Olives.
27 Lampia achepet'un Yeshuan ajah'uva aseiye, “Nangho naboncha uva nalungthoi sohkeidiu ahi. Ijeh-inem iti leh, Pathen thubun: ‘Keiman kelngoi chingpa kavohlhuh ding ahi, chujou teng akelngoite chu chehchao diu ahi,’ ati.
And Jesus said to them. "All of you are about to stumble, for it is written, "I will smite the shepherd, and the sheep shall be scattered abroad.
28 Ahinlah keima thina-a kon kahung thodoh jouteng Galilee gam lama namasanguva kache ding chua chu neimu diu ahi,” ati.
"But after my resurrection I will go before you into Galilee."
29 Chuin Peter in aseiyin, “Aboncha uvin lungthoi jongleu, kei vang lungthoi ponge,” ati.
"Although they all stumble and fall, yet will not I," answered Peter.
30 Hichun Yeshuan, “Keiman tahbeh'a kasei ahi, Peter—nangman tu jan'a ah ni vei akhon masanga thumvei neiseilep ding ahi,” atipeh-e.
Jesus said to him, "I tell you in solemn truth that you yourself, today on this very night, before the cock crow twice, shall three times disown me."
31 Peter in, “Kanompoi! Nang matoh thitha teiding hijongleng, naseilep hihhel ing kate,” atichang melin ahi. Chule abonchauvin achuti seicheh-un ahi.
But Peter kept protesting passionately, "Though I must die with you, I will not disown you!" And they all kept saying the same.
32 Amaho olive thinglei lah-a Gethsemane atiu honsung achun ahungun, chuah Yeshuan aseiyin, “Keima katao sungsen nangho hikoma hin anatou jingun,” ati.
So they came to a place named Gethsemane, and he said to his disciples, "Sit down here while I pray."
33 Aman Peter, James chule John akipuiyin, alunghem lheh jeng tai.
Then he took Peter and Jamesand Johnwith him, and began to be full of terror and distress;
34 Chuin Yeshuan, “Thina khop helin kalung hesoh behseh jengtai. Hikoma hin um unlang eina kiginpeh-un,” ati.
and he said to them. "My soul is full of anguish, even unto death; wait here, and keep watch."
35 Chule amasang lamah neokhat ache chon'in tollah akhupboh-in alhun, ahitheile hiche phat chu Ama-a kon'a akitolmang theina dingin ataove.
So he went a little farther, and throwing himself upon the ground, he prayed repeatedly that, if it were possible, the hour might pass away from him.
36 Akapjah-in, “Abba, Hepa! Imajouse Nanga dinga hithei ahi. Ahitheile hiche gimthohna khon hi keiya konin kitolmang hen. Hinla Nangma lunggot bang joh hihen lang, keima lunggot bang hida hen,” tin ataotai.
"Abba, Father," he said, "all things are possible with thee. Take this cup away from me. Yet not what I will, but what thou wilt."
37 Chujouvin ahungdohle khatteho chu ana imutlhuh-u ahung toh'in, Peter jah-a, “Simon, na-imut hitam? Nidan khat jeng jong kiginga umjoulou nahim?
Then he came and found them asleep, and he said to Peter. "Are you sleeping, Simon? Could you not keep watch one hour?
38 Lhepna-a nalhahlouna dingun, kigingun, taovun ijeh-inem iti leh lhagaovin agonan, tahsan ajolou ahi,” ati.
Keep watch, all of you, and pray that you may not come into temptation; the spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak.’
39 Chuin amaho adalhan, ache kit'in atao ngai bangin agatao kittai.
Then he went away again and prayed, saying the same words;
40 Chuin ahung kile kit'in ahile amaho chu ana-imut'u ahung toh kit'in, aimutso behseh jeh-un adonbutje ahepouve.
and when he returned he found them once more asleep, for their eyes were heavy with sleep, and they knew not what to say to him.
41 Athumvei channa-a ahung kile kit chun ajah uva, “Tun i-mu uvin lang kithaol tauvin. Aphasettai, phat alhingtai. Hinla—veuvin, Mihem Chapa hi michonsete khut'a kipedoh ahitai.
Then he came the third time, and said. "Sleep on now, and take your rest! It is over. My hour is come. Look! the Son of man is betrayed into the hands of sinners.
42 Kipat'un, chetauhite. Veuvin, eipedohpa hiakhun aumtai!” ati.
Rouse yourselves, let us go. See! my betrayer is at hand."
43 Yeshuan hichu asei jou jouvin, hetman louvin, Judas, aseijuiho lah'a khat, chu mihonpi moltum le chemjam kichoi puma hungho toh ahung kilhon khom'in ahi. Amaho chu thempu pipui holeh hou lamkai hon ahinsol'u ahi.
At that instant, while he was yet speaking, Judas, one of the Twelve, came up, and with him a mob armed with swords and clubs, sent by the high priests and Scribes and elders.
44 Ajohdoh-a pangpa, Juda Iscariot chun melchihna ahil masan, “Namat diu chu chibai kaboh-a kachop penpen chu hiding ahi. Ama chu puimang un,” ati.
Now the betrayer had given them a sign. "The one I kiss," he said, "is the man. Arrest him, and take him away safely."
45 Ahung lhun lhun'un Juda chu Yeshua hengah achen, “Houhil!” tin chibai bohnan achoptai.
So he came and going straight up to Jesus he said.
46 Chuin akhut alhauvin Yeshua amantauvin ahi.
"Rabbi," and kissed him. Then they laid hands on him and took him.
47 Yeshua nungjuiho lah'a mi khat'in achemjam asatdohin thempu chungnung sohpa asat leh abilkol langkhat asatlhan ahi.
But one of the bystanders drew his sword, and struck the slave of the high priest, and cut off his ear.
48 Yeshuan adongin, “Galguh bolho mandinga kon banga moltumle chemjam thoa keiman dinga nahung uham?
But Jesus interposed, saying. "Are you come out to arrest me with swords and clubs, as if I were a robber?
49 Houin sunga kaum laiya ibola neimatlou uham? Niseh leh nalah'uva thujong kanahil jinge. Ahinlah Thubua thukiseisa aguilhunna dinga hitia hi thilsoh vang ahinai,” ati.
Day after day I was face to face with you in the Temple courts, teaching, and you did not seize me. But this is done that the Scriptures might be fulfilled."
50 Chuin aseijuite jouse akithecheh-un, ajamgam tauve.
Then they all forsook him and fled.
51 Alah'uva gollhang khat asangkhol tupat ponnem khatseh kiah aumin, ama chu ahungkon hon amat'ule,
One young man, however, began following him, with only a linen sheet thrown round his naked body.
52 Aman apon-ah chu akhut'uva adalhan, asagohkeovin ajam mangtai.
They seized him, but he left the linen sheet and fled away naked.
53 Amahon Yeshua chu thempu chungnung hengah akaiyun, chua chun thempu pipui chengse le vaipo upa ho chule danthusunho ahung kikhomun ahi.
Then they took Jesus to the high priest, and all the chief priests and elders and Scribes came with him.
54 Peter in galkangin ahin juipeh-in chule jangpet'in thempu chungnung inpi leitol sungnung geiyin ajuilutpeh in chua chun sottolleho lah'a atouve.
Peter also had followed Jesus at a distance, until he was inside the court of the high priest. There he was sitting among the officers, warming himself in the light of the fire.
55 Asunglamah, thempu pipui holeh houlamkaiho chengsen Yeshua tha theinadia hehsetna le themmo channa ding pansattheina ding ahol un ahivanginla amupouvin ahi.
Meanwhile the high priests and all of the Sanhedrin were trying to get evidence against Jesus, so as to have him put to death, but they found none;
56 Jouthu tamtah'in ahehseuvin, ahinlah akitoh tapouvin ahi.
for though many gave false witness against him, their testimony did not agree.
57 Akhonna-in, mi phabep akipatdoh'un,
Some came forward and swore falsely, saying,
58 “Amaa kon'a kajah-u chu: khut'a kisa hiche houinthenghi suse-ingting, nithum jouleh khut'a sahlou achom dang khat katundoh ding ahi,” ati-e tin ahin hehse tauvin ahi.
"We heard him say, ‘I will tear down this temple made by hands, and in three days I will build another temple not made by hands.’"
59 Ahivanginla hichea jongchun athuseiyu akitoh kitpouvin ahi.
But even their evidence did not agree.
60 Chuin thempu chungnung chu mipi masanga adingdoh in, Yeshua thudoh abolin, “Hitehon nahehnau thu aseiyuhi nadonbut lou dingham?” ati.
Then the high priest rose and stood forth among them. "Have you no answer to make?" he asked Jesus; "What is it that these testify against you?"
61 Ahivangin Yeshuan donbut louvin thipbeh'in aumin, chuin thempu chungnungin adongin, “Nangma Nunnom Chapa, Messiah chu nahim?” atitai.
But he remained silent, and answered nothing. Again the high priest questioned him. "Are you the Christ," he said, "the Son of the Blessed?"
62 Yeshuan adonbut in, “Kahi,” atin, chuleh, “Nanghon Mihem Chapa hi thuneina mun'a Pathen jetlam'a atouva chule van meilah-a ahung namu dingu ahinalaiye,” ati.
"I am," Jesus answered, "and you all shall see the Son of man seated on the right hand of Power, and coming with the clouds of heaven."
63 Chuin Thempu chungnung chun alunghan vetsahnan aponsil abotkeh-in, “Hettohsahna ipi iholbe nahlai dingu ham?
Then the high priest tore his vestments. "Why do we need any further witness?" he exclaimed.
64 Pathen ataitomna thu naja tauve. Nanghon iti nagel um?” atileh abonchauvin asam'un, “Athidinga lom ahi!” tin aeo lahlah jengun ahi.
"Did you hear his blasphemy? What is your verdict?"
65 Mi abangkhat'in achil asetkhum'un chule amit akanpeh-un, akhutnun achumun, “Gaothu neiseipeh-un,” tin eltolin ahouvun, angeiphe abengun apuimang tauve.
Then they all condemn him to be worthy of death. Some began to spit on him, and to blindfold him while striking him and saying, "Prophesy." The officers, too, received him into custody with blows.
66 Hichepet'a chu Peter noilama leitola uma ahin, thempu chungnung ole numei khat ahungin ahile,
Now while Peter was below in the courtyard, there came one of the maid servants of the high priest, and saw Peter warming himself.
67 Peter in mei aoi chu amun, amanu chun aven ajah a, “Nang jong Nazareth Yeshua toh kiloi nahi,” ati.
She looked at him, and said, "You too were with the Nazarene, Jesus."
68 Ahinlah Peter in, “Nasei chu kahehih hel'e,” tin adonbut'in, leitol maiya apotdohleh ahchal akhongtai.
But he denied it. He said. "I don’t know, I don’t understand what you are saying." Then he went out into the porch, and the cock crew.
69 Chuin sohnu chun amun akoma dingho jah-a, “Hichepa hi amaho lah'a khat ahi!” atikit e.
Again the maid servant saw him, and began again to tell the bystanders, "He is one of them."
70 Ahinlah Peter akilepkittai. Chomkhat jouvin, akoma dingho chun, “Amaho lah'a khat mong mong nahi, ajehchu Galilee mi nahi-e,” atikit tauvin ahi.
A second time he continued to deny it. After a little the by- standers began to say to Peter again, "Surely you are one of them, for you are a Galilean."
71 Ahivangin aman, “Kajou kasei leh gaosap chang inge—naseipau hi kahekha hihbeh-e!” atijeng tai.
But he began with curses an solemn oaths to say, "I do not know the man you are talking about."
72 Chujou jouvin aniveina'in ah ahung khong paitan ahi. Chutah chun, Yeshua thusei: Ah ni vei akhon masanga thumvei neiseilep ding ahi, ati chu ageldoh tan, hakan akaptan ahi.
At that instant for the second time a cock crew. Then Peter recalled the word which Jesus had spoken to him, "Before the cock crows twice you will disown me thrice." And as he thought of it, he began to weep aloud.
