< Luke 11 >

1 Khatvei hi Yeshua munkhat ah taona mangin aume. Ahin chai chun, aseijuite lah'a khat akom'ah ahungin aseiye, “Pakai, taoje neihil'un John in aseijuite ahil bangin” ahung ti.
It happened, that when he finished praying in a certain place, one of his disciples said to him, "Lord, teach us to pray, just as Yukhanan also taught his disciples."
2 Yeshuan aseiyin, hitia hi natao dingu ahi: “Hepa, namin chu thengtah in kikoi hen, nalenggam hung lhung loi hen
So he said to them, "When you pray, say, 'Our Father in heaven, holy be your name. May your kingdom come. May your will be done on earth, as it is in heaven.
3 Niseh a kangaichat u anneh nei peuvin
Give us day by day our daily bread.
4 Chule kachonset nau ngaidam in, Kachunguva chonse ho kangaidam bangun chule lhepna ah nei lhahlut sah hih'un” ati.
And forgive us our sins, for we also forgive everyone indebted to us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.'"
5 Chuin taoding dan ahilben, hiche thusim hi amangchai: “Tekah nan nangma jankhang kim in naloi nagol in khat'ah nachen, changlhah pheng thum palah ding nadei jal'in naga chetai” Nangman akom'ah naseiyin,
He said to them, "Which of you, if you go to a friend at midnight, and tell him, 'Friend, lend me three loaves of bread,
6 “Kaloi khat tuchun eivil dingin ahung vailhungin, chule keiman ima nehsah ding kaneipoi, tin nathum tai.”
for a friend of mine has come to me from a journey, and I have nothing to set before him,'
7 Chuleh tekahnan, ama chun alupna dan sunga kon chun, “Nei houloh tahih in. Kot jong tujana dinga kikhah ahitai, ka insungmi te le keima jong jalkhun'a kabon chauva umah kahi tauve. Nakithopi thei ponge,” ahin ti.
and he from within will answer and say, 'Do not bother me. The door is now shut, and my children are with me in bed. I cannot get up and give it to you'?
8 Hiche hi kaseipeh nahi–ihamtin ajol le agol ahijeh chun bolhih jongle, nangman kot sottah nasuh suh jenga ahileh, ama thoudoh intin nathil thum chan chu napeh ding ahi, jahcha lou hel'a napansot jeh'a chu, ati.
I tell you, although he will not rise and give it to him because he is his friend, yet because of his persistence, he will get up and give him as many as he needs.
9 “Chule hijeh a chu kaseipeh nahiuve, thum jing jengun, chule nathum chu namu ding ahi.” Hol jingin chule namu ding ahi. Kot chu kiu jing in chutileh kot chu nakihonpeh ding ahi.
"I tell you, ask, and it will be given to you. Seek, and you will find. Knock, and it will be opened to you.
10 Ajeh chu athum chan'in akisan in, ahol jousen amun. Chule kot kiu jouse akot kihonpeh ding ahi.
For everyone who asks receives. He who seeks finds. To him who knocks it will be opened.
11 “Pate ho, nachateuvin nga athumleh, akhel'a gul napeh um?
"Which of you fathers, if your son asks for a fish, he won't give him a snake instead of a fish, will he?
12 Ahilouleh ahtui athum nauva aipi napeh uvam? Henge nape pouve!
Or if he asks for an egg, will give him a scorpion?
13 Hijeh a chu nangho mi chonsen bon nacha teu thilpha pehje nahet uleh, van'a um napauvin Lhagao Theng iti napehda diu ham athum ho jouse dinga” ati.
If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Rukha d'Qudsha to those who ask him?"
14 Nikhat Yeshuan mi apaotheilou khat a konin thilha anodoh peh in ahi, chule thilha chu apotdoh jou chun, mipa chu ahung paodoh pan tai. Mihonpi chun kidang asauvin,
He was casting out a demon, and it was mute. It happened, when the demon had gone out, the mute man spoke; and the crowds were amazed.
15 ahin miphabep khat chun, “Athilha nodoh chu lungdon ding ahipoi. Aman athilbol theina khu Satan, thilhate lengpa'a kona amu ahi,” atiuve.
But some of them said, "He casts out demons by Baelzebub, the prince of the demons."
16 Adanghon, Yeshua patep nom nan, van'a kon melchihna kidang, athaneina photchetna a avetsah dingin angeh un ahi.
Others, testing him, sought from him a sign from heaven.
17 Alunggel u ahetan, hijeh chun aman aseitai, “Itobang lenggam hileh khat le khat kidouna a kibung khen kiti chu amangthah ding ahi. Insungkhat jong kidouna a kibung khen chu lhulham ding ahi.
But he, knowing their thoughts, said to them, "Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation. A house divided against itself falls.
18 Nanghon keima Satan in eisuh thahat danin naseiyuve. Ahin Satan chu akikhentel'a ama le ama akidou le alenggam chu iti khantou tantem?
If Satana also is divided against himself, how will his kingdom stand? For you say that I cast out demons by Baelzebub.
19 Chuleh kei chu Satan suhthahat kahi leh, nalah uva thilha nodoh ho la? Amahon jong thilha anodoh u ahi, hijeh a chu amahon nathusei jeh uva chu nahin dem diu ahi.
But if I cast out demons by Baelzebub, by whom do your children cast them out? Therefore will they be your judges.
20 Amavang keiman Pathen thahatna jal'a thilha kanodoh ahileh, Pathen lenggam chu nalah uva hunglhung ahitai.
But if I by the finger of God cast out demons, then the Kingdom of God has come to you.
21 Ajeh chu Satan banga mihat tah khat chu amanchah kimkeiya akivon a a'inpi akiventup teng leh anei agou ho bit ahi–
"When the strong man, fully armed, guards his own dwelling, his goods are safe.
22 ama sanga thahatjo khat'in ahung bulhu a, athaneina alahmanga, agal manchah achom'a, chule anei agou apoh mang ho ahopcheh kah'a chu.
But when someone stronger attacks him and overcomes him, he takes from him his whole armor in which he trusted, and divides up his plunder.
23 Koi hileh keimatoh pangkhom lou chu eidoudal ahi, chule eikhop khompi lou chu athecheh ahi.”
"He that is not with me is against me. He who does not gather with me scatters.
24 Lhagao gilou khat in mihem khat adalhah teng leh, nelgam lah dungah achejin, kicholna ding mun aholjin ahi. Ahin khatcha amulou teng leh aseijin, “Kahungdoh na mipa koma kile tange,” ati.
The unclean spirit, when he has gone out of the person, passes through dry places, seeking rest, and finding none, he says, 'I will turn back to my house from which I came out.'
25 Hijeh chun akilen ahileh ana umnasa in chu akitheh thengsel'a chule kitup sel'a aumchu amun ahi.
When he returns, he finds it swept and put in order.
26 “Chuin hiche lhagao chun ama sanga giloujo lhagao sagi ma amun, chule amaho abon'un hiche mipa sunga chun alut un aching tauve. Chuin chuche mipa chu amasa'a sangin akhoh cheh jitai,” ati.
Then he goes, and takes seven other spirits more evil than himself, and they enter in and dwell there. The last state of that person becomes worse than the first."
27 Hitia thu asei lai chun, mihonpi lah'a kon chun numei khat in ahin kouvin, “Pathen in nanu phattheiboh hen–nahung kondoh na naobu, chule nahin chep noi jong,” ati.
It came to pass, as he said these things, a certain woman out of the crowd lifted up her voice, and said to him, "Blessed is the womb that bore you, and the breasts which nursed you."
28 Yeshuan adonbut in, “Ahin hiche sanga chu Pathen thu ja'a anatoh a podoh ho chu anunnom cheh ahiuve” ati.
But he said, "On the contrary, blessed are those who hear the word of God, and keep it."
29 Mihonpin Yeshua anehchin to laitah in, aman hitin aseiye, “Hiche khang gilou hin melchihna kidang kavetsah dingin asei sei jenguvin; ahin melchihna kapeh ding chu Jonah melchihna bouseh hiding ahi.
When the crowds were gathering together to him, he began to say, "This generation is an evil generation. It seeks after a sign. No sign will be given to it but the sign of Yaunan.
30 Ama chunga thilsoh chengchu Pathen in Nineveh mite henga asol ahi ti melchihna ahi. Mihem Chapa chunga thilsoh jong hiche miho dinga Pathen sol ahi melchihna ahi.”
For even as Yaunan became a sign to the Ninevites, so will also the Son of Man be to this generation.
31 “Sheba lengnun, thupi kitan nikho leh hiche khang mite douna'a dingdoh ding themmo achanding ahi, ijeh inem itile ama mun gamlatah a konin Solomon chihna thungai dingin ahunge. Tun Solomon sanga lenjo khat hikom'ah aume–ahin nanghon athu nangai pouve.
The Queen of the South will rise up in the judgment with the people of this generation, and will condemn them: for she came from a distant land to hear the wisdom of Shelemun; and look, one greater than Shelemun is here.
32 Nineveh khomite jong thupi kitan nileh hiche khang mite douna'a dingdoh diu chule themmo achandiu ahi. Ijeh inem itile amahon Jonah thuseiya konin achonset nauva kon lungheina aneiyuve. Tun Jonah sanga lenjo khat hikom'ah aume–ahin, nanghon athu nangaipouve.”
The people of Nineveh will stand up in the judgment with this generation, and will condemn it: for they repented at the preaching of Yaunan, and look, one greater than Yaunan is here.
33 “Koiman meivah avah in chule aselmang in ahilouleh lo akhukhum ngaipoi. Chusang chun, meivah atunna ah akitung jin, chua kon chun insung lut jousen avah amuthei bou uve.”
"No one, when he has lit a lamp, puts it in a cellar or under a basket, but on a stand, that those who come in may see the light.
34 “Namit chu natahsa dinga vah hinpedoh meivah ahi. Namit chu ahoi laisea, natichung pumpi chu vah dimset ahi. Ahin, aphatmo teng, natichung chu mithum in atom ahi.
The lamp of the body is the eye. Therefore when your eye is good, your whole body is also full of light; but when it is bad, your body also is full of darkness.
35 Vah kaneiye tia nakigel chu muthim tahtah ahipoi ti kiphot chen in.
Therefore see whether the light that is in you is not darkness.
36 Vah'a chu nadimset'a, aning akah a muthim behlou nahileh, na hinkho pumpi chu, meivah vahtah in asalvah banga vahset ding ahi.” ati
If therefore your whole body is full of light, having no part dark, it will be wholly full of light, as when the lamp with its bright shining gives you light."
37 Yeshuan thu aseilaiyin, Pharisee holah'a khat'in a-in'a anne ding in atem'in ahi. Hijeh chun ama alut in dokhanga atouna mun alotai.
Now as he spoke, a Pharisee asked him to dine with him. He went in, and sat at the table.
38 A an-vailhun pan, amasa'a Juda chondan a khutsil bollouva an nedia atoulhah jeng chu amun adatmo lheh jengin ahi.
When the Pharisee saw it, he was surprised that he had not first washed himself before dinner.
39 Chuin Pakai chun amapa jah'a, “Nangho Pharisee hohin khon le lheng apolam siltheng chingthei tah'in nabol'un, ahin asunglam vang anen–kiloset nale gitlouna a dimset nahiuve!
The Lord said to him, "Now you Pharisees cleanse the outside of the cup and of the platter, but your inward part is full of extortion and wickedness.
40 Vo mingol! Pathen in asung jong chule apolam jong asem gel hilou ham?
You foolish ones, did not he who made the outside make the inside also?
41 Hijeh chun asung lang jong mivaicha ho thilpeh peh'a konin kisutheng un, chutile apumpia nathen dingu ahitai.”
But give for gifts to the needy those things which are within, and see, all things will be clean to you.
42 “Itobang lunghem nan nangau hitam Pharisee ho! Ajeh chu nanghon som'a khat nahon sung uva anche aneopen geiyin natoh dimdem'un, hinlah adih'a thutan le Pathen ngailut nakhohsah pouve. Henge, somakhat napeh diu mong ahinai ahivangin athupijo thilho notthap hih'un.”
But woe to you Pharisees. For you tithe mint and rue and every herb, but you bypass justice and the love of God. You ought to have done these, and not to have left the other undone.
43 “Itobang lunghem nan nangau hitam Pharisee ho! Ijeh inem itile nanghon kikhopna in dunga touna thupi hoa tou le kailhang mun lah'a navale nauva min chibai naboh ding nadeiyun ahi.
Woe to you Pharisees. For you love the best seats in the synagogues, and the greetings in the marketplaces.
44 Henge ipi lungkham nan nangau hitam! Ijeh inem itile nangho loulaiya lhankhuh kiselguh tobang nahiuve. Mihon lepthol kibol chu helouvin achungah lam ajot un ahi” ati.
Woe to you. For you are like hidden graves, and the people who walk over them do not know it."
45 “Houhil” tin Hou danthu them khat in ahinkouvin, “Nathusei chun keiho jong eisujum uve,” ati.
One of the Law scholars answered him, "Teacher, in saying this you insult us also."
46 “Henge,” tin Yeshuan aseiyin, “Itobang lunghem nan nangau hitam nangho hou danthu themho!” Ajeh chu nanghon pohjou lou ding houthua ngehna nasem uvin mipi na sugenthei uvin, hinlah nakhut jung khat jong apohgih'u ngaijang peh nadingin nalam khapouve.
He said, "Woe to you Law scholars also. For you load people with burdens that are difficult to carry, and you yourselves won't even lift one finger to help carry those burdens.
47 Lungkham na itobangin nangau hitam! Napu napa teuvin malaiya anathau themgao ho lhan nasem uvin ahi.
Woe to you. For you build the tombs of the prophets, and your fathers killed them.
48 Ahin tahbeh in, napu napa teuvin anabolkhel u napom u vetsahna a ahetoh'a napan u ahitai. Amahon themgaoho anathat'un, chule nanghon amaho najopnau photchetnan alhan nasem uve!
So you are witnesses and consent to the works of your fathers. For they killed them, and you build their tombs.
49 Hiche hi Pathen in achihna a nangho chungchang anasei chu, Keiman themgao le solchah ahenguva kasol ding, ahivanga amahon abang athauva abang abolset diu ahi.
Therefore also the wisdom of God said, 'I will send to them prophets and apostles; and some of them they will kill and persecute,
50 “Chutia chu hiche khang mite hi vannoi kiphudoh a pat Pathen themgao kithat ho jouse chunga mopo diu ahi.”
that the blood of all the prophets, which was shed from the foundation of the world, may be required of this generation;
51 Abel kitha a pat a Zechariah, maicham le muntheng kikah a kithat pa geiya hiche khang mite kingoh ding ahi.
from the blood of Habeil to the blood of Zekharya, who perished between the altar and the sanctuary.' Yes, I tell you, it will be required of this generation.
52 “Itobang lunghem nan nangau hitam nangho hou danthu them ho! Ajeh chu mipi a kon'in hetna kot-heh mihoa konin naladoh un, nangho tah jong lenggam sungah nalut pouve, chule adang alut ding jong najada uve,” ati.
Woe to you Law scholars. For you took away the key of knowledge. You did not enter in yourselves, and those who were entering in, you hindered."
53 Yeshuan adalhah got toh kilhon in, hou danthu hilho Pharisee ho chun ahin galmimu cheh cheh un, chule thudoh tamtah doh a suh lunghang ding agouvin ahi.
And when he left there, the scribes and the Pharisees began to oppose him bitterly, and to provoke him to speak about many things;
54 Amahon thangkol'a osah ding hehset nathei thuseidoh sah ding atiu ahi.
lying in wait for him, seeking to catch him in something he might say, that they might accuse him.
