“‘If anyone sins ·errs (the standard goal)·, in that he sh'ma ·hear obey· the voice of adjuration, he being a witness, whether he has seen or known, if he does not report it, then he shall bear his depravity (moral evil).
2 “ahilouleh nangman sathenglou sathisa hamkhat chu hetlouva natoh khah a ahileh hichu chona dola thenglou ahi. “‘Or if anyone touches any unclean thing, whether it is the carcass of an unclean animal, or the carcass of unclean livestock, or the carcass of unclean creeping things, and it is hidden from him, and he is unclean, then he shall be condemned guilty.

“‘Or if he touches the uncleanness of man, whatever his uncleanness is with which he is unclean, and it is hidden from him; when he knows of it, then he shall be condemned guilty.
4 “Ahiloule nangman aphatna ding hihen asetna ding hijongle ngolhoitah in nakihahsel tan ahi. Hichu ngolhoitah ahi ti nageldoh tengle, nachonsetna chu naphondoh ding ahi.
“‘Or if anyone swears rashly with his lips to do evil, or to do good, whatever it is that a man might utter rashly with an oath, and it is hidden from him; when he knows of it, then he shall be condemned guilty of one of these.
5 Hitobang chonsetna ho hi khat pen pen hijongle nahin geldoh ni nileh, na chonsetna naphondoh ding ahi.
It shall be, when he is condemned guilty of one of these, he shall yadah ·extend hands in confession· of that in which he has sinned ·deviated (from the standard goal)·:
6 Chutengle chonset themona jeh a nangman gancha kul sunga kona kelngoi hihen kelcha hijongle anu khat Pakai henga nahin kai ding ahi. Hiche hi chonset thilto hiding thempupan nangma chonsetna a kona nasuhtheng nale Pakai toh nasuh dih na hiding ahi.
and he shall bring his fault incurring guilt offering to Adonai for his habitual sin ·missing the mark· which he has sinned ·deviated (from the standard goal)·, a female from the flock, a lamb or a goat, for a habitual sin ·miss the mark· offering; and the priest shall make atonement for him concerning his habitual sin ·missing the mark·.

“‘If he can’t afford a lamb, then he shall bring his fault incurring guilt offering for that in which he has sinned ·deviated (from the standard goal)·, two turtledoves, or two young pigeons, to Adonai; one for a habitual sin ·miss the mark· offering, and the other for a burnt offering.

He shall bring them to the priest, who shall first offer the one which is for the habitual sin ·miss the mark· offering, and wring off its head from its neck, but shall not sever it completely.
9 Chuteng chonset thilto gan thisan phabep chu maicham ning ho a chu athekhum ding, chule thisan amoh chengse chu maicham bula chu alonlhah sah ding ahi. Hichu chonset thilto hiding ahi.
He shall sprinkle some of the blood of the habitual sin ·miss the mark· offering on the side of the altar; and the rest of the blood shall be drained out at the base of the altar. It is a habitual sin ·miss the mark· offering.
10 Hitia chu thempu pan vacha ani chana pachu pumgo thilto adia asem ding, akibolding dan kisei tobang chetna abol ding ahi. Hitobanga hi thempupa chun nachonsetna a kona nasuhthenga, Pakai toh nasuhdih a, chtengle ngaidama naum ding ahi.
He shall offer the second for a burnt offering, according to the judgement; and the priest shall make atonement for him concerning his habitual sin ·missing the mark· which he has sinned ·deviated (from the standard goal)·, and he shall be forgiven.
11 Vakhu ni le vapal ni nahin choi jou louva ahileh, nachonset thilto dinga chu changbong ephah dimni nahin choi thei ahi. Hiche hi chonset thilto ahijeh chun, olive thao toh nahelkhom lou ding, thil namtui jong nalhah lut lou ding ahi.
“‘But if he can’t afford two turtledoves, or two young pigeons, then he shall bring his offering for that in which he has sinned ·deviated (from the standard goal)·, one tenth of an ephah [an omer; 2.3 q; 2.2 L] of fine flour for a habitual sin ·miss the mark· offering. He shall put no oil on it, and he shall not put any frankincense on it, for it is a habitual sin ·miss the mark· offering.
12 Changbong chu thempupa koma nahin choiding, chutengle aman changbong lah a kona chu khut dimkhat asodoh hing ahi. Pakaiya dinga thilpeh lutah napeh na bana hiche changbong chu Maicham chunga ahalvam ding ahi. Hichu chonset thilto ahi.
He shall bring it to the priest, and the priest shall take his handful of it as the memorial portion, and burn it on the altar, on the offerings of Adonai made by fire. It is a habitual sin ·miss the mark· offering.
13 Hitobanga hi chonset jeh a themona neiho chu thempu pan asuhtheng a, Pakai anga asuhdih ding, chule achonset nau ngaidama umding ahi. Changbong amoh chengse chu lhosohga thilto kibolna banga, thempupa chang ding ahi.
The priest shall make atonement for him concerning his habitual sin ·missing the mark· that he has sinned ·deviated (from the standard goal)· in any of these things, and he will be forgiven; and the rest shall be the priest’s, as the meal offering.’”
14 Chuin Pakaiyin Mose henga aseiyin,
Adonai spoke to Moses [Drawn out], saying,
15 “nalah uva khat touvin hettohlou jeh a Pakai thilthengho asuhboh a chonsetna naneikhah uva ahile, Pakai henga chonset thilto nahin choi ding ahi. Chonset thilto ding chu nangma a mong mong kelngoichal nolna bei hiding, ahiloule aman kibahpi khat dangka a nachoh ding, hichu muntheng phunga thiltena a kitetoh dungjuija hiding ahi.
“If anyone commits a violation, and sins ·errs (the standard goal)· that is an unintentional mistake sin ·error·, in the holy things of Adonai; then he shall bring his fault incurring guilt offering to Adonai, a ram without defect from the flock, according to your estimation in silver by shekels, after the shekel of the sanctuary (the shekel is 0.4 oz; 11.34 g), for a fault incurring guilt offering.

He shall make restitution for that sin ·err (from the standard goal)· which he has done wrong in the holy thing, and shall add a fifth part to it, and give it to the priest; and the priest shall make atonement for him with the ram of the fault incurring guilt offering, and he will be forgiven.
17 “vetsahnan Pakai thupeh ho lah a khat napelkeh in nachonsetai. Nangman nabolkhel chu nahetlouva nabol hijong le chonse nahithou thou ding chule nachonset jeh a chu bolgima naum ding ahi.
“If anyone sins ·errs (the standard goal)· against any the mitzvot ·instructions· of Adonai concerning things which should not be done, though he didn’t know it, yet he is condemned guilty, and shall bear his depravity (moral evil).
18 Hitobang chonset thilto dinga chu, thempupa henga nangma kelngoichal nolnabei khat nahin kailut ding, ahiloule aman kibahpi khat nachoh a nahin kailut ding ahi. Hitobanga hi thempupan hetlouva nabolkhah chonsetnaho a kona nasuhtheng ding, Pakai toh nasuhdih a, chule ngaidama naum ding ahi.
He shall bring a ram without defect from of the flock, according to your estimation, for a fault incurring guilt offering, to the priest; and the priest shall make atonement for him concerning the unintentional mistake sin ·error· in which he deviated in mental error, unintentional sin ·error·, and he will be forgiven.
19 Hiche hi chonset thilto hiding ahi, ajeh chu Pakai douna a chonse nahi.
It is a fault incurring guilt offering. He is certainly condemned guilty condemned guilty before Adonai.”
