1 Nangman gancha akul apat maicham nasem teng, achal hihen anu hijong leh nato thei ding, amavang nolna bei hi ding ahi.
[“Also tell the people], ‘When the offering that you bring to Yahweh is to maintain good fellowship [with him], you may bring a bull or a cow from your herd [of cattle], but what you present to Yahweh must be an animal that has no defects.
2 Gancha luchunga chun nakhut ngam inlang, chule Houbuh lutna a chun that in. Chutengle Aaron chapate, thempu ho chun, thisan chu maicham ning jousea chu athe khum diu ahi.
You must bring the animal to the entrance to the Sacred Tent. You must lay your hands on its head. Then you must slaughter it [and drain some of its blood in a bowl]. Then one of Aaron’s sons, one of the priests, will sprinkle the blood against all sides of the altar.
3 Thempu pa chun chamna thilto phabep chu Pakaiya dinga thilpeh lutah a apeh dingu ahi. Hichea hi athao jouse le asung ho jouse ahin,
From that offering, you must offer to Yahweh, as a sacrifice that will be burned in the fire, all the fat that covers the inner parts of the animal, or which is attached to them—
4 Akongbuh toh kinaiya um akal teni le akimvela beh athao chengse, chule athin chunga beh athao jouse jong jaoding ahi. Hichengse hi akal toh kiladoh khoma,
the kidneys and the fat that is attached to them near the lower back muscle, and the fat that covers the liver.
5 Chule Aaron chapaten hichengse chu pumgo thilto dinga maicham chunga meikonga chu ahal vam diu ahi. Hichu Pakaiya dinga lunglhai um gimnam tuitah, thilpeh lupen hiding ahi
Then one of the priests will burn those things on the altar, along with the other parts of the animal that will be completely burned to be an offering [to Yahweh]. And the aroma while it burns will be pleasing to Yahweh.
6 Nangman gancha kul sunga kona gancha chu Pakaiya chamna thilto a naton ding tengle, hichu achal ahiloule anu hiding, amavang nolnabei hiding ahi.
If that offering to maintain good fellowship with Yahweh is a sheep or a goat, it must also be an animal that has no defects.
7 Nangman nato ding thilto chu kelngoi ahile, Pakai henga nahin kailut na,
If you offer a lamb, you must present it to Yahweh [at the entrance to the Sacred Tent]. You must lay your hands on the lamb’s head and then slaughter it. [‘You must drain some of its blood in a bowl].
8 aluchunga nakhut nangapma, chule Houbuh maiya chu natha ding ahi. Chutengle Aaron chapaten kelngoi thisan chu maicham ning jousea chu athekhum soh kei dingu ahi.
Then one of the priests will sprinkle that blood against all sides of the altar.
9 Thempupa chun hiche chamna thilto a athao jouse chu Pakaiya dinga thilpeh lutah a apeh ding ahi. Hiche lah a chu atingpigu amei kitanlhah na geiya beh athao ho, agila beh athao jouse,
You must dedicate these things to be a sacrifice to Yahweh that is burned: Its fat, the fat tail that you must cut off close to the backbone, and all the fat that covers the inner parts of the lamb or which is attached to them—
10 akongbuh toh kinaiya um akal teni le akimvela beh athao chengse, chule athin chunga beh athao jouse jong jaoding ahi. Hichengse hi akal toh kiladoh khoma,

11 Chule Thempu pan hichengse hi maicham chunga ahal vam ding ahi. Hichu Pakai anneh dinga kipe thilpeh lutah hiding ahi.
One of the priests will burn those things on the altar to be an offering to Yahweh; [it will be as though] they will be a special food [given to Yahweh].
12 Nangman nato ding thilto chu kelcha ahile, Pakai henga nahin kailut na,
‘If your offering is a goat, you must take/present it to Yahweh.
13 aluchunga nakhut nangapma, chule Houbuh maiya chu natha ding ahi. Chutengle Aaron chapaten kelcha thisan chu maicham ning jousea chu athekhum soh kei dingu ahi.
You must lay your hands on its head. Then you must slaughter it in front of the Sacred Tent. Then one of Aaron’s sons will sprinkle the blood against all sides of the altar.
14 Thempu pan hiche thilto lah a kona phabeh khat chu Pakaiya dinga thilpeh lutah a apeh ding ahi. Hiche ho lah a chu sunga um athao jouse,
From that offering you must dedicate these things to be a sacrifice to Yahweh that is burned: All the fat that covers the inner parts of the animal or which is attached to them,
15 akongbuh toh kinaiya um akal teni le akimvela beh athao chengse, chule athin chunga beh athao jouse jaoding ahi. Hichengse hi akal teni toh kiladoh khoma,
the kidneys with the fat that is on them near the lower back muscle, and the fat that covers the liver.
16 chule thempu pan maicham chunga ahalvam ding ahi. Hichu Pakai anneh dinga kipe thilpeh lutah, lunglhai um gimnamtui tah ahi. Athao jouse chu Pakaiya ahi.
The priest will burn those things on the altar to be an offering to Yahweh; [it will be as though] they will be a special food [given to Yahweh]. And the aroma while it burns will be pleasing to Yahweh. All the fat [of the animals that are sacrificed] belongs to Yahweh.
17 Nangman athao hihen athisan hileh naneh louhel ding ahi. Hiche hi nanga dinga aumjing ding dathupeh ahin, chule hoilai muna cheng jong leuchun, akhang khanga nanit jing jeng dingu ahi.
‘This is a command that must be obeyed by you and your descendants forever, wherever you live: You must not eat the fat or the blood [of any animal].’”
