< Ka La 3 >

1 Pakai lunghanna tanggolla kon hungpotdoh thohgimna chu keima tahin kamuchet ahi.
I, am the man, that hath seen affliction, by the rod of his indignation;
2 Aman vah jouse daltanin, Muthim laha eipuilut e.
Me, hath he driven out and brought into darkness, and not light;
3 Nilhum keijin avel vellin keima dounan ka chunga a khut a lamin ahi.
Surely, against me, doth he again and again, turn his hand all the day.
4 Aman kaphe leh kavun agotsah jenge. Kagu kachang jong a sungoi jengin ahi.
He hath worn out my flesh and my skin, hath broken my bones;
5 Aman lunggimna leh gentheina eisun khumin chatmo hellin eilha tai.
He hath built up against me, and carried round me, fortifications and a trench;
6 Aman mithisa ho bangin, Muthim laha eivuiye.
In dark places, hath he made me sit, like the dead of age-past times.
7 Aman pal eikai khumin, Keima ka jamdoh thei tapoi. Thihkhao gihtahin jong eikan chah e.
He hath walled up around me, that I cannot get out, hath weighted my fetter;
8 Keima kapengjah jeng vang'in, Aman ka taona adalten del tai.
Yea, when I make outcry and implore, he hath shut out my prayer;
9 Songpal sangtah in ka lampi akhah tannin; Ka lampi eisuh setpeh e.
He hath walled in my ways with hewn stone, my paths, hath he caused to wind back.
10 Keima man dingin, Kei le vompi bang in kiselin eichang lei.
A bear lying in wait, he is to me, a lion, in secret places;
11 Aman ka lampia kon in eimanin eimal tel tel in, Hesoh genthei le panpi beiyin eilhai.
My ways, hath he turned aside, and hath torn me in pieces, hath made me desolate;
12 Aman athal-pou aloisalin, Keima abidoiyin eineiye.
He hath trodden his bow, and set me up, as a mark for the arrow.
13 Ka lungchang laitaha, Athalchang chu a kaplut jenge.
He hath caused to enter my reins, the sons of his quiver;
14 Kamiten nuisatbepseu kahi tai. Nilhum keijin musetna la eisah khum uve.
I have become a derision to all my people, their song all the day;
15 Aman lunggimna jengin eisu dimin, Lungkhamna khacheh khon chu eidon sah e.
He hath sated me with bitter things, hath drenched me with wormwood.
16 Aman songchang eilhai sahin, vutvai laha eilehluttan ahi.
And he hath crushed, with gravel-stones, my teeth, hath made me cower in ashes;
17 Chamna chu eilah mang pehin, Phatthei channa ding chu keidin gelphah ahi tapoi.
And thou hast thrust away from welfare, my soul, I have forgotten prosperity;
18 Ka loupina nikho akichai tan, Pakaiya ka kinepna jouse jong ahomkiu ahitai, tin kakap jah jeng tai.
And I said, Vanished is mine endurance, even mine expectation, from Yahweh.
19 Kathoh gimna leh ka lengvaina hinkho hin eisugim thei val jeng e.
Remember my humiliation and my fleeings, the wormwood and poison;
20 Ka thohgimna le in le kagentheina hi, seiya seijou hoi ahita poi.
Thou wilt, indeed remember, that, bowed down concerning myself, is my soul;
21 Ahin hiche hi kahin geldoh teng, Kinepna kanei jou jin ahi:
This, will I bring back to my heart, therefore, will I hope.
22 Pakai neingailutna dihtah chun beitih anei pon, Amikhotona jong atangdeh poi.
The lovingkindnesses of Yahweh, verily they are not exhausted, Verily! not at an end, are his compassions:
23 A kitahna hi longlou ahin, Ami khotona jong jingkah sehin athah jingin ahi.
New things for the mornings! Abundant is thy faithfulness:
24 Kahinna ka lhagaovin aseijin Pakai hi keima gou ahi. Hijeh chun Ama a kakinepna hi umjing ahije.
My portion, is Yahweh, saith my soul, For this cause, will I wait for him.
25 Pakai ging jingte leh hinna dinga hol jing tedinga phatah ahi.
Good is Yahweh, to them who wait for him, to the soul that will seek him;
26 Hijeh chun Pakaija konna huhhing na muna dinga thipbeh cha nga hat angaije.
Good it is—both to wait and to be silent, for the deliverance of Yahweh;
27 Chu leh khan don laiya Ama angsunga kipehlut leh Ami thununna koljon kikhum lut aphai.
Good it is for a man, that he should bear the yoke in his youth.
28 Ama chu Pakaiyin atohsah nomna dung juiyin thipbeh in aching seh in ngah jing hen.
Let him sit alone, and keep silence, because he took it upon himself:
29 Amaho chun amaijun tollam ngatnu henlang kijammu hen ajeh chu amahon ajona leh akinepna’u dung jui'a amu thei diu ahi.
Let him put, in the dust, his mouth, peradventure, there is hope!
30 Amaho chun a ngei phe bengho chu alangkhat jong dopeh uhenlang agalmi ten anoise nau jong kisan u-hen.
Let him give, to him that smiteth him, his cheek, let him be sated with reproach.
31 Ajeh chu koi macha hi Pakaiyin apaidoh paipai aum poi.
Surely My Lord, will not cast off, unto times age-abiding;
32 Aman lungkhamna asosahje vang'in ami khotona dimset jeh chun angailutna ahop jinge.
Surely, though he cause grief, yet will he have compassion, according to the multitude of his lovingkindnesses;
33 Ajeh chu Pakai hi milungkham sahle alungthim sunhat peh ahi along lhaina ahipoi.
Surely he hath not afflicted from his heart, nor caused sorrow to the sons of men.
34 Mihon gamsunga songkullut hochu akelngoi tol chotpha jongle’u,
To crush, under his feet, any of the prisoners of the earth;
35 Hitobang miho chun Pathen douna in midang chan ding dolho lahpeh jongleu,
To turn aside the right of a man, before the face of the Most High;
36 Chuleh aman a thutan nauva achanding dol’u thudih chu chansah hih jong leu, hitiho jouse Pakaiyin amu sohkei hilou ham?
To oppress a son of earth in his cause, My Lord, hath made no provision.
37 Pakai phatsah louva koiham thilho hung soh doh na ding thupeh neithei ding chu?
Who was it that spake, and it was done, [when], My Lord, had not commanded?
38 Chungnungpen Pathen in thilpha le thilse ahin sosah ji hilou ham?
Out of the mouth of the Most High, Proceed there not misfortunes and blessing?
39 Chuti ahileh mihon eiho e-chonset jeh uva engbolna e-chan jiuhi i-kiphin thei ding uham?
Why should a living son of earth complain, [Let] a man [complain] because of his sins?
40 Chuti louvin, eihon e-chonnau hi kikhuol’u hitin chuleh Pakai kom’a iki lehei kit lou diu ham?
Let us search out our ways, and examine them well, and let us return unto Yahweh;
41 Eihon e-lung thim ule e-khut’u Van Pathen anga domsangu hitin seiju hite,
Let us lift up our heart, to the opened palms, to the Mighty One in the heavens;
42 Keiho nangma dounan ka chonse tauvin nangman nei ngaidam pouvin ahi,
We, have trespassed and rebelled, Thou, hast not pardoned.
43 Nangman nalung hanna neibuh lhah khum tauvin chuleh khotona beihelin neidel khumun nei that gam tauve.
Thou hast covered thyself with anger, and pursued us, hast slain—hast not spared;
44 Mei lah’a na kiselin, katao na’u na kom ahung lhung jou tapoi,
Thou hast screened thyself with the clouds, that prayer, should not pass through;
45 Nangman chitin namtin laha thet le notthapin nei koitauvin ahi.
Offscouring and refuse, dost thou make us, in the midst of the peoples.
46 “Ka melmateuvin Keiho dounan thu asei sei jingun.
With their mouth, opened wide over us, [stand] all our foes.
47 Keiho kichat le tijatnan Ka dimset tauve, Ajeh chu keiho kimana, kisugepa amang thah kahitauve.”
Terror and a pit, have befallen us, tumult and grievous injury;
48 Ka miteu kisuhmang jeh'in, Ka mitlhi’u twilon in along e!
With streams of water, mine eye runneth down, over the grievous injury of the daughter of my people.
49 Kamitlhiu tanglou helin alonge; Tang lou ding ahi,
Mine eye, poureth itself out and ceaseth not, without relief;
50 Pakaiyin Vanna konna ahin vetsuh, Ahin lainatpi tokah un,
Until Yahweh out of the heavens shall look forth, and see,
51 Jerusalem Chanute khankho gelnan, Ka lungthim hi apohkeh ding akisa jing’e.
Mine eye dealeth severely with my soul, because of all the daughters of my city.
52 Keiman kasuhset louhel galmin, Vaacha bangin eideljam e.
They, have laid snares, for me as a bird, who are mine enemies without cause:
53 Kokhuh’a ei nolutun, Ka chunga song eiset khume.
They have cut off, in the dungeon, my life, and have cast a stone upon me;
54 Ka luchang geiyin twiyin eichupin, “Athi ding kahitai” tin ka peng jah’e.
Waters, flowed over, my head, I said, I am cut off!
55 Ahin kokhuh sunga konin, Pakai, Nangma kahin kouve.
I have called upon thy Name, O Yahweh, out of the dungeon below;
56 Nangman ka kouna najan, “Kataona nei sanpehin, Panpi ngehna a kataona nei san peh e!”
My voice, thou hast heard, —do not close thine ear to my respite, to mine outcry;
57 Keiman kahin kou chun nangma na hung in “kicha hih in” neiti.
Thou drewest near, in the day I kept calling on thee, thou saidst, Do not fear!
58 Pakai nangman ka thutanpa nahin, ka chung thu neiseipehin! Ajeh chu eihuhdoha Nang na hi.
Thou hast pleaded, O My Lord, the pleas of my soul, hast redeemed my life;
59 Pakai amahon ka chunga i-chan geija thilse abol’u hitam namu sohkeiye, kathu nei kholtohpihin lang, kadihna neitahlang pehin,
Thou hast beheld, O Yahweh, my failure to get justice, Pronounce thou my sentence;
60 Ka galmiten kei douna tohgon aneiyu Nangman nahesoh keiye.
Thou hast seen all their vindictiveness, all their plots against me.
61 Pakai nangin eitaitomnao na jasoh keijin chuleh ka chunga thilse abolgot hou jong na hesoh keiye.
Thou hast heard their reproach, O Yahweh, all their plots against me;
62 Ka galmite ka chunga akihou un Keima dounan akihou lhi jingun ahi.
The lips of mine assailants, and their mutterings, are against me, all the day;
63 Amaho khu ven! Atoupetu hihen adinpetu hijongle, keima nuisatna la jeng asaove.
On their downsitting and their uprising, do thou look, I, am their song.
64 Pakai ka chunga thilse abol jouseu hi, Amaho chunga chuhsahin.
Thou wilt render to them a recompense, O Yahweh, according to the work of their hands;
65 Amaho hi lungtahna leh sei ngailouna lungthim penlang, Achunguva sapsetna chuh sah in.
Thou wilt suffer them a veiling of heart, thy curse to them;
66 Achung uvah na lunghanna chuhsah inlang, Pakai vansem ho noi jahin amaho khu suhmang tan.
Thou wilt pursue in anger, and wilt destroy them, from under the heavens of Yahweh.
