1 Joshua chu atehtan akum jong atamlheh tan, hichun Pakaiyin akomma hitihin thu ahin seijin ahi, “Nangla natehtan, nakumjong atamthim lhehtan ahinlah gamlahding hi atamlheh jeng nalaijin ahi.
Joshua was old and advanced in age, and the Lord said to him: “You have grown old, and are aged, and a very wide land remains, which has not yet been divided by lot,
2 Gamlahding vatnalai hochu Philistinete gamleh Geshur gamho sese jong ahinalaije.
specifically, all of Galilee, Philistia, and all of Geshur;
3 Egypt solam’a um Sihor gamma konna Ekron solam gamgi changgei (Canaan gammia kisimma ahi) chuleh Philistine vaipote nga ho, Gaza, Ashdod, Gath, leh Ekron jong ahopmin chuleh Avvit mite gamjong ahopthan ahi.
from the muddy river, which irrigates Egypt, as far as the border of Ekron toward the north, the land of Canaan, which is divided among the rulers of Philistia: the Gazites, and the Ashdodites, the Ashkelonites, the Gathites, and the Ekronites;
4 Lhanglam gamma ahileh Canaan mite gampumpi ahin, chule Sidon mite gamsunga Maarah changgei leh Aphek gei, chujongleh Amor mite gamgi changgei ahin,
truly, to the south are the Hivites, all the land of Canaan, and Mearah of the Sidonians, as far as Aphek and the borders of the Amorite
5 Gebal mite leh Lebanon gampumpi, nisolam lengsese, Baal-gad khopi apat Hermon molsang nisolam gei ahin, Hamath khopi jotna kotphung gei ahithai,
and his confines; also, the region of Lebanon toward the east, from Baalgad, under mount Hermon, until you enter into Hamath;
6 Chule Lebanon apatna Misrephothmaim changgeija mite ahiuvin, Sidon mite pumpummin thinglhang gamma cheng thinglhang mite aboncha ahiuve. Mihem hijat hi aboncha keima mong mong’in Israel chate masanga kadelmang ding ahi, nangma kahilla kathupeh bang bangchun agamhi Israelten alouva achenpha diuvin hoppeh poupou tan.
all who live in the mountains from Lebanon, as far as the waters of Misrephoth, and all the Sidonians. I am the One who will wipe them out, before the face of the sons of Israel. Therefore, let their land become a part of the inheritance of Israel, just as I have instructed you.
7 Chuti ahiyeh chun nangman tuhin hiche gamhi Israel phung holeh Manasseh phung kehkhat goulo din hoppehtan” ati.
And now, divide the land as a possession to the nine tribes, and to the one half tribe of Manasseh.”
8 Manasseh phung kehkhat leh Reuben chate chule Gad chate chun Pakai lhacha Mose’n apehsao Jordan vadung gal nisolam gamsung chu agoulo achan diuvin akisem tauve.
With them, Reuben and Gad have possessed the land, which Moses, the servant of the Lord, delivered to them beyond the river Jordan, on the eastern side:
9 Agamchu Arnon phaicham pamchinna Aroer khopia pat phaicham lailunga khopi changgei ahipeh’in Madaba gam dokhang banga kikhangdohlai jong ahopsoh keijin Dibon changei ahi.
from Aroer, which is situated on the bank of the torrent Arnon and in the midst of the valley, and all the plains of Medeba, as far as Dibon;
10 Heshbon lengvaipo Amor mite lengpa Sihon khopi jouse jong ahin Ammon mite gamgi changei ahi.
and all the cities of Sihon, the king of the Amorites, who reigned in Heshbon, even to the borders of the sons of Ammon;
11 Chujongleh Gilead gam ahin, Geshur mite leh Ma-acath mite lhangmang geijin ahopmin Hermon molsang pumpi jong ahin, chuleh Bashan pumpi ahop peh’in Salicah gei ahipeh’e.
and Gilead, as well as the borders of Geshur and Maacati, and all of mount Hermon, and all of Bashan, as far as Salecah;
12 Ashtaroth khopi le Edrei khopia lengvaipoa anapang Bashan gamsunga Og lengpa lenggam abonchan ahopmin hiche Og kitipa hi Repham mite lah’a achangseh'a anahingdoh mikhat jong ahi, hichengse hi Mose in gal’a akisatpia ajosoh keija adelmang sohkei ahi.
the entire kingdom of Og in Bashan, who reigned at Ashtaroth and Edrei, (he was among the last of the Rephaim). And Moses struck and destroyed them.
13 Ahinlah Israel chaten Geshur mite leh Ma-acath mite chu tuni geijin Israel lailunga acheng cheng tauvin ahi.
And the sons of Israel were not willing to destroy Geshur and Maacati, and so they have lived in the midst of Israel, even to the present day.
14 Mose in goulo ding apehlouhel phung chu Levi phungbou ahitai. Pakaiyin aseipeh banga Pakai Israel Pathen henga govam thilto chengse chu Levite chanding agoulo diuva ummah ahi.
But to the tribe of Levi, he did not give a possession. Instead, the sacrifices and victims of the Lord, the God of Israel, these are his inheritance, just as he spoke to him.
15 Reuben chate phung jongchu Mose in ama ama insung dungjui cheh’in agoulo diu anapei.
Therefore, Moses gave a possession to the tribe of the sons of Reuben, according to their families.
16 Hijechun Reuben phung mite gamgi hopchu ahileh Arnon phaicham pamchinna kisa Aroer khopia kipan chuche phaicham lailunga khopi changei ahin, Medeba gam dokhang banga kikhangdoh chengse jong ahopme.
And their border was from Aroer, which is situated on the bank of the torrent Arnon, and in the midst of the valley of the same torrent, with all the flatlands that lead to Medeba;
17 Heshbon khopi jong ahin dokhang banga kikhangdoh gamsunga Heshbon khopi jouse chutoh ahithai, akhopi hochu Dibon leh Bamoth leh Bamoth-baal, Bethbaalmeon jong ahin,
and Heshbon, and all their villages, which are in the plains; also Dibon, and Bamothbaal, and the town of Baalmeon,
18 Jahaz jong Kedemoth jong Mepha-ath jong,
and Jahaz, and Kedemoth, and Mephaath,
19 Kiriatha-im jong Sibmah jong phaikola thinglhang vumma Zereth Shahar jong,
and Kiriathaim, and Sibmah, and Zereth-shahar on the mountain of the steep valley;
20 Bethpoer jong Pisgah lhang panglang sese jong Beth-jishimoth jong ahi.
Bethpeor, and the descending slopes of Pisgah, and Beth-jeshimoth;
21 Hicheng lah’a hi dokhang langa kido gamsunga khopi jouse leh Amor mite lengpa Sihon lenggam pumpi ahithai, hiche Sihon hi Heshbon khopia lengvaipoa anapang ahin Mose in hiche Sihon hileh Midian lamkai ho Evi, Rekem, Zurle Hur chule Reba kiti Sihon lengpa chapate agamsunga chengse chu anajotha ahitai.
and all the cities of the plain, and all the kingdoms of Sihon, the king of the Amorites, who reigned at Heshbon, whom Moses struck down with the leaders of Midian: Evi, and Rekem, and Zur, and Hur, and Reba, the commanders of Sihon, inhabitants of the land.
22 Baalam kitipa Beor chapa phunsan thempa jongchu Israel chaten midang atha lah uva chu chemjamma asatlihthau ahitan ahi.
And the sons of Israel killed Balaam, the son of Beor, the seer, with the sword, along with the others who were slain.
23 Hitihin Reuben chate gamgi chu Jordan vadung hi ahiyenge. Hichehi Reuben chate goulo ahin, ama ama insung dungjui cheh’a khopiho jong khoneoho jong chentha cheh ahiuve.
And the river Jordan was made the border of the sons of Reuben; this is the possession of the Reubenites, by their families, in cities and villages.
24 Gad phung jongchu Mose’in ama ama insung dungjui cheh in goulo gam anapei.
And Moses gave to the tribe of Gad and his sons, by their families, a possession, of which this is the division:
25 Chule Gad chate gamgi hopsese chu, Jazer kho ahin, Gilead gam khopi chengse ahin, Ammon mite gamsung kehkhat toh ahin, chule Rabbah nisolama um Aroer khopi gei ahiye.
the border of Jazer, and all the cities of Gilead, and one half part of the land of the sons of Ammon, as far as Aroer, which is opposite Rabbah;
26 Chuin Heshbon khopia pat Ramath-mizpeh le Betonim khopi gei ahin, chule Mahanaim khopia pat Lo-debar gamsung gei ahiye.
and from Heshbon as far as Ramath, Mizpeh, and Betonim; and from Mahanaim as far as the borders of Debir;
27 Chutengleh phaichamma ahileh Beth-haram ahin, Beth-nimrah ahin, Succoth ahin, chule Zaphon le Heshbon lengpa Sihon lenggam sunga adang jouse toh ahitha’n, Jordan gamgia vadung gamgia panga Jordan vadung gallama niso lamma Galilee tuilen tolam among lamtoh kimatpai ahitai.
also, in the valley Beth-haram and Beth-nimrah, and Succoth, and Zaphon, the remaining part of the kingdom of Sihon, the king of Heshbon; the limit of this also is the Jordan, as far as the furthest part of the sea of Chinnereth, beyond the Jordan on the eastern side.
28 Hichehi ama ama insung dungjui cheh’a akhopi jouse leh akhoneo jouse pumpumma kihoppeh Gad chate gamchan agoulou ahi.
This is the possession of the sons of Gad, by their families, in their cities and villages.
29 Manasseh phung kehkhat jong chu Mose in goulo gam anapen agam goulo chu Manasseh phung kehkhat jong ama ama insung dungjui cheh’in akihom’uvin ahi.
He also gave, to the one half tribe of Manasseh and to his sons, a possession according to their families,
30 Manasseh phung kehkhat gamhop lhang le molchu Mahanaim a ahung kipannin, Bashan gamsung jouse ahin adeh deh’in Bashan gamma Og lengpa lenggam pumpitoh Bashan gamsunga um Jair kholendom jouse jong ahin, abonchan khopi somgup jen alhing’in,
the beginning of which is this: from Mahanaim, all of Bashan, and all the kingdoms of Og, the king of Bashan, and all the villages of Jair, which are in Bashan, sixty towns;
31 Gilead kikahtoh, Asharoth toh Edrei toh ahin, abonna hi Bashan gamsunga Og lengpa lenggama khopi jong ahiuve, hijat hi Manasseh chapa Makir chate leh Makir phungmite alangkhat kihomma ama ama insung dungjuija chan kipesohkei ahiuve.
and one half part of Gilead, and Ashtaroth, and Edrei, the cities of the kingdom of Og in Bashan, to the sons of Machir, the son of Manasseh, to one half part of the sons of Machir, according to their families.
32 Gam goulo hijatpihi Mose in Jordan vadung gal Jericho khopi nisolam Moab phaichamma anahopdoh ahitai.
Moses divided this possession, in the plains of Moab, beyond the Jordan, opposite Jericho on the eastern side.
33 Levi phung vangchu Mose in goulo gam achansah poi, ajeh chu Pakaiyin ajah uva aseisa banga Pakai Israel Pathen chu Levite goulo ahiyenge.
But to the tribe of Levi he did not give a possession. For the Lord, the God of Israel, is himself their possession, just as he spoke to him.
