John 17
1 Yeshuan thu hicheng chu aseiyin, vanlam aven, “Pa naphat chu ahung lhunge; Chapan nangma na choiat thei na dingin na chapa choian in.
These things Jesus spoke, and lifting up his eyes to heaven, he said: Father, the hour is come, glorify thy Son, that thy Son may glorify thee.
2 Ajeh chu nangman ama napeh ho jouse chu aboncha aman tonsot hinkemlou apeh dinga, nangman ama chu mi jouse chunga thuneina napeh ahi. (aiōnios g166)
As thou hast given him power over all flesh, that he may give eternal life to all whom thou hast given him. (aiōnios g166)
3 Pathen tahbeh khatseh nangman nasol Yeshua Christa tah chu ahet doh dingu, hiche hi tonsot hinna ahi. (aiōnios g166)
Now this is eternal life: That they may know thee, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent. (aiōnios g166)
4 Chuleh nangman keima bol dinga neipeh chu kajouvin, chule leiset chunga nangma min ka choian tai.
I have glorified thee on the earth; I have finished the work which thou gavest me to do.
5 Chule tun, Pa vannoi leiset um masanga nangma toh ium laiya iloupina chun nangma tah toh kigomin nei choian in.
And now glorify thou me, O Father, with thyself, with the glory which I had, before the world was, with thee.
6 Vannoi leiset a neina peh ho chu keima in kahin tahlange. Amaho chu nangma a din aum jinguve, chule nangma in keima neipeh ahitan, amaho in nathu chu anit jing nauve.
I have manifested thy name to the men whom thou hast given me out of the world. Thine they were, and to me thou gavest them; and they have kept thy word.
7 Tun amahon nangman keima neipeh thil chengse hi nanga kon ahi ahetauve.
Now they have known, that all things which thou hast given me, are from thee:
8 Hiti ahijeh chun nangman keima neipeh thuho chu keiman amaho kapen, chule keima hi nanga hung kon kahi jong atahsan tauvin, chuleh nangman nei hin sol ahiti jong atahsan tauve.
Because the words which thou gavest me, I have given to them; and they have received them, and have known in very deed that I came out from thee, and they have believed that thou didst send me.
9 Chuleh keima amaho dinga katao ahi, vannoi dinga katao ahipoi; Ahin nangman keima neipeh ho dinga bou katao ahi, Ijeh inem itile amaho nanga ahiuve.
I pray for them: I pray not for the world, but for them whom thou hast given me: because they are thine:
10 Keima'a umjouse nanga ahi, chuleh nangma in keima neina peh ahitai. Ajeh chu amahon loupina eihin chansah'u ahi.
And all my things are thine, and thine are mine; and I am glorified in them.
11 Chuleh keima vannoiya hi kaumlou ding ahitai, amaho vang hi vannoiya aum nalaiyuve, chule keima nahenga hung ding kahitai. Ka Pa Theng, eini pumkhat ihi banga amaho jong pumkhat ahithei na dingun, nangman amaho hi vengtup'in.
And now I am not in the world, and these are in the world, and I come to thee. Holy Father, keep them in thy name whom thou has given me; that they may be one, as we also are.
12 Keima hikoma kaum sungin, amaho hi kana vengtup e. Amaho hi kaventup jal'in khat cha jong amangthah aumpouve, Pathen lekhabun anaseisa, manthahna lama chepa tailou chu.
While I was with them, I kept them in thy name. Those whom thou gavest me have I kept; and none of them is lost, but the son of perdition, that the scripture may be fulfilled.
13 Chuleh tua keima nangma koma hunga kahitai, chule keima leiya kaum laiya chu kipa thanopnaa adim jing thei na dinguva kana seipeh sohhel ahitai.
And now I come to thee; and these things I speak in the world, that they may have my joy filled in themselves.
14 Chuleh keiman nathu amaho kapetai; chule keima vannoiya kahilou banga amaho jong vannoiya ahilou jeh'un, vannoi miten ahotauve.
I have given them thy word, and the world hath hated them, because they are not of the world; as I also am not of the world.
15 Chule keiman kathum chu amaho hi vannoiya konin ladoh in tia katao ahipoi, agiloupa natoh na'a kon in huhdoh in katijoh ahibouve.
I pray not that thou shouldst take them out of the world, but that thou shouldst keep them from evil.
16 Keima vannoiya kona kahilou banga, amaho jong vannoiya kon ahipouve.
They are not of the world, as I also am not of the world.
17 Chule nathutah chun amaho jouse hi sutheng in ajeh chu nangma thuhi thutah ahiye.
Sanctify them in truth. Thy word is truth.
18 Nangman keima vannoiya neina sol banga chu keiman amaho hi vannoiya kasol ahi.
As thou hast sent me into the world, I also have sent them into the world.
19 Chule amaho jouse hi thutah'a suhthenga aum thei na dinguva amaho jal'a keima kisuthenga kahi. Yeshuan tahsan chate jouse dia taona anei
And for them do I sanctify myself, that they also may be sanctified in truth.
20 Keima seijui ho ding seh'a tao kahipoi, amaho thusei'a kona keima eitahsan ho jouse dinga jong taova kahi.
And not for them only do I pray, but for them also who through their word shall believe in me;
21 Chule amaho chu pumkhat ahina dinguva, Pa, keima nangma sol kahi hi vannoi miten atahsan thei na dinguva nangma keiya nauma keima nanga kaum banga hi, amaho jong einia aum theina dinga katao ahi.
That they all may be one, as thou, Father, in me, and I in thee; that they also may be one in us; that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.
22 Keiman amaho chu loupina nangman neipeh ho chu kapetai, amaho eini banga pumkhat ahitheina dingu ahi.
And the glory which thou hast given me, I have given to them; that they may be one, as we also are one:
23 Keima amahoa kauma chule nangma keiya naum, abon'a khat a chamkim soh ahi. Chuteng vannoiyin keima neisol ahi ahetdiu chule keima nei ngailut banga hi amaho jong nangailut ahidan ahetthem diu ahi.
I in them, and thou in me; that they may be made perfect in one: and the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast also loved me.
24 Hepa nangman neipeh loupina chu nangin neipeh ho hin amuthei na dingun, keima umna'a chun kakoma amaho jong umleu kati ahi; chule vannoi bul kiphu masanga nangman neingailut ahijeh chun.
Father, I will that where I am, they also whom thou hast given me may be with me; that they may see my glory which thou hast given me, because thou hast loved me before the creation of the world.
25 Vo Kapa Theng vannoi leiset miten nangma nahethem theipouve, ahinla keiman nangma kahen, chule keima neisol hi seijui ho hin ahetauve.
Just Father, the world hath not known thee; but I have known thee: and these have known that thou hast sent me.
26 Keiman nangma hi amaho lah'a katah lang nahitai, chule keiman hiti a chu katah lang jing ding nahi; hiche teng chule keima nei ngailut naho chu amaho'a umding chuteng keima jong amaho a ka umjing ding ahi.”
And I have made known thy name to them, and will make it known; that the love wherewith thou hast loved me, may be in them, and I in them.
