< John 10 >

1 Keiman nangho atahbeh kaseipeh nahiuve, koi hileh kelngoi hongkot'a lut louva bang'a kal'a hunglut chu gucha michom ahi.
Verily, verily, I say to you, He that entereth not by the door into the sheepfold, but climbeth up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber.
2 Ahivangin kelngoi hongkot'a hunglut ama vang chu kelngoi chingpa ahi.
But he that entereth by the door is the shepherd of the sheep.
3 Ama chu kot ngahpan kot ahonpeh jin, chuleh kelngoi hon ama aw aheuvin, aheng'a ahungjiuve, chule aman akelngoite chu amin cheh in akouvin, apuidoh jin ahi.
To him the porter openeth; and the sheep hear his voice: and he calleth his own sheep by name, and leadeth them out.
4 Chule aman akelngoi ho ahoidoh soh tengleh, amaho chu alamkaiyin, chuleh akelngoi hon anung ajuijiuve, ajeh chu amahon amapa Aw chu aheuve.
And when he putteth forth his own sheep, he goeth before them, and the sheep follow him: for they know his voice.
5 Chuleh kelngoi hon hetphahlou midang nungjui louhel ding ahiuve, ama-a kon'a jam mang ding ahiuve ajeh chu amahon michom dang aw ahepouve.
And a stranger will they not follow, but will flee from him: for they know not the voice of strangers.
6 Yeshuan hiche thulem asei jaho chun, aman ipi aseina ahi ahepouve.
This parable spoke Jesus to them: but they understood not what things they were which he spoke to them.
7 Hijeh chun Yeshuan ajah'uva, asei chen in, “Keiman nangho atahbeh kaseipeh nahiuve, keima hi kelngoi hongkot chu kahi.
Then said Jesus to them again, Verily, verily, I say to you, I am the door of the sheep.
8 Kamasanga hung masa ho jouse abon'uva gucha leh michom ahiuve, ahinlah ama ho thu chu kelngoihon angaipeh pouve.
All that ever came before me are thieves and robbers: but the sheep did not hear them.
9 Henge, keima kelngoi hongkot dihtah chu kahi, koi hileh keiya hunglut'a chu huhhing'a umding ahi; amaho chu nom tah'a lutle potle dingu, chuleh hamhing hoitah akimu dingu ahi.
I am the door: by me if any man shall enter, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.
10 Guchapa hunglo na chu agu mang ding leh asumang ding bou ahi, keima vang amahon ninglhin na leh lunglhai na hinkho aneina dinguva hunga kahi.
The thief cometh not, but to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.
11 Keima kelngoi chingpha kahi, kelngoi chingpha chun akelngoite dingin ahinna apejin ahi.
I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep.
12 Ahin thalah kelngoi chingpa vang chun, ngei hung amuteng ama ajamjin chuleh akelngoite adalha jitai; ajeh chu ama kelngoi chingtah ahipon, kelngoite jong ama-a ahipoi, chutengleh ngei chun kelngoite chu adelkhum in aman in chuleh asu cheh jitan ahi.
But he that is an hireling, and not the shepherd, whose own the sheep are not, seeth the wolf coming, and leaveth the sheep, and fleeth: and the wolf catcheth them, and scattereth the sheep.
13 Ijeh inem itileh ama thalah kelngoi ching, sum muna ding bouva natong ahijeh chun, aman kelngoite ngailut na aneipoi.
The hireling fleeth, because he is an hireling, and careth not for the sheep.
14 Keima kelngoi chingpha kahi, keiman ka kelngoite kahen, chuleh amahon keima eiheuve.
I am the good shepherd, and know my sheep, and am known by mine.
15 Kapan keima eihet tobang bangin keiman Pachu kahei; hijeh chun, keiman ka kelngoite dingin ka hinna kapei.
As the Father knoweth me, even so I know the Father: and I lay down my life for the sheep.
16 Chuleh keiman hiche hong sunga umlou kelngoi dang jong kaneiye, chule keiman amaho jong chu kaga puilut ding chuleh amahon ka-aw ahet dingu chuteng kelngoi ho chu honkhat hiuva achingpa jong khatseh hiding ahi.
And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd.
17 Pan keima eingailui, ajeh chu keiman kahinna chu avel'a kilelah kit ding'a kakatdoh tah jeh chun;
Therefore doth my Father love me, because I lay down my life, that I may take it again.
18 Khattouvin, keiya kon'a kahinna chu eilah peh thei ahipoi, keiman kacham'a kakat doh ahibouve, ajeh chu keiman katdoh nale avel'a kile lah kit theina chu kanei ahi. Hichu kapan keima eithupeh ahi,” ati.
No man taketh it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This commandment have I received from my Father.
19 Aman thu hicheng asei jeh chun, Judah ho chu abung bungin akikhen kit tauve.
There was a division therefore again among the Jews for these sayings.
20 Alah'uva phabep chun, “Hichepa hi thilhavop ahin alunggel kisuhlou ahibouve, chule ibol'a ama thusei kingai ding ham?” atiuve.
And many of them said, He hath a demon, and is mad; why hear ye him?
21 Chule adang phabep chun, “Athusei hi thilhavop umdan ahipoi, thilhan mitcho kho amusah ngaiyem?” atiuve. Juda Hon Yeshua Asandau
Others said, These are not the words of him that hath a demon. Can a demon open the eyes of the blind?
22 Hichu phalbilai ahin Houin katdohna kut abollaiyu ahin, Yeshua Jerusalem'a aumpet ahi.
And it was at Jerusalem the feast of the dedication, and it was winter.
23 Ama Houin'a aum in, Solomon hongcha kitilaiya chun ama avahlen ahi.
And Jesus walked in the temple in Solomon’s porch.
24 Hichun Judah hon ama chu aumkimvel un, “Itihchan keiho lung hesoh'a nei umsah ding'u ham? Nangma Messiah chu nahileh neiseipeh un,” atiuvin ahi.
Then came the Jews around him, and said to him, How long dost thou make us to doubt? If thou art the Christ, tell us plainly.
25 Hichun Yeshuan adonbut in, ajah'uva, “Keiman nangho kasei pehsa ahitai. Ahivangin nanghon neitahsan pouve, kapa min'a kathilbol chenghi keima thudol hettohsah ahitai.
Jesus answered them, I told you, and ye believed not: the works that I do in my Father’s name, they bear witness concerning me.
26 Ahivangin nangho ka kelngoite nahilou jeh'un, keima neitahsan pouve.
But ye believe not, because ye are not of my sheep, as I said to you.
27 Keima kelngoi hon ka aw angaiyun, keiman amaho kahen, chuleh amahon kanung eijui'uve.
My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:
28 Keiman amaho chu tonsot hinna kapen, chuleh amaho chu itih'a jong mangthah lou ding ahiuve. Chuleh koiman keiya kon'a amaho chu eilahpeh lou ding ahi. (aiōn g165, aiōnios g166)
And I give to them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any pluck them out of my hand. (aiōn g165, aiōnios g166)
29 Ajeh chu kapan amaho chu keima eipeh ahitai, chuleh kapa chu ima jouse'a thaneipen leh hat chungnung ahi. Koiman amaho chu kapa khut'a kon'a alahpeh lou ding ahi.”
My Father, who gave them to me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father’s hand.
30 “Chuleh Pa leh keima chu khatseh kahi lhon e,” ati.
I and my Father are one.
31 Chuin Judah hon ama selih na ding song akilo tauvin ahi.
Then the Jews took up stones again to stone him.
32 Hichun Yeshuan ajah'uva, “Kapa thusah bangtah a, keiman thilpha tamtah kabol ahitai. Hoiche pentah jeh'a chu nanghon keima song'a neise dingu ham?” ati.
Jesus answered them, Many good works have I shown you from my Father; for which of those works do ye stone me?
33 Amahon adonbut un, ajah'a, “Keihon nang naphatoh jeh'a songa kase dingu nahipoi. Pathen nataitom jeh ahibouve. Chuleh nangma mihem hiya Pathen naki hisah jeh ahi,” atiuve.
The Jews answered him, saying, For a good work we stone thee not; but for blasphemy; and because that thou, being a man, makest thyself God.
34 Chuin Yeshuan adonbut'in ajah'uva, “Hiche hi nangho Pathen lekhabua kisun hilou ham? Pathen in mihem ho jah'a anaseisa, nangho hi Pathen ho nahiuve kiti chu, kasei ahi.
Jesus answered them, Is it not written in your law, I said, Ye are gods?
35 Chuleh nanghon naheuve, Pathen lekhabua kisun chu khel thei ahipoi. Hiche jeh chun, Pathen thu lhunna miho bon Pathen ho tia akikou thei leh;
If he called them gods, to whom the word of God came, and the scripture cannot be broken;
36 Ibol'a ken keima Pathen chapa kahi tia kasei leh, nanghon Pathen taitom nahi neitiu ham? Pan hiche dinga chu keima atumbeh'a eikhen doh'a eisuhtheng'a vannoiya eihinsol ahi.
Say ye of him, whom the Father hath sanctified, and sent into the world, Thou blasphemest; because I said, I am the Son of God?
37 Eisol'a kapa natoh ho kabol louleh neitahsan dauvin.
If I do not the works of my Father, believe me not.
38 Ahin, ama kin katoh ahivang leh, keima neitahsan theilou jongleh, melchihna kidang kabol hohi hettohsah nan neiyun lang, tahsan un. Chutileh nanghon Pa keiya aum'a chuleh keima Pa'a ka um chu hetauvinnate,” ati.
But if I do, though ye believe not me, believe the works: that ye may know, and believe, that the Father is in me, and I in him.
39 Chuin avel'in amahon Yeshua chu matding ago kit'un, ahi. Ahivangin ama hiche mun'a kon chun apotdoh in amaho chu adalhatai.
Therefore they sought again to take him: but he escaped from their hand,
40 Chuin ama Jordan lui gallam'a amasa-a John in baptize ana bol na lam'a chun achen aga umtai.
And went away again beyond Jordan into the place where John at first baptized; and there he abode.
41 Chua chun, mi tamtah'in anung ajuiyun, amaho chu akihouvun, “John in melchihna kidang ho anabolpon, ahivangin Yeshua thudol aseiho abonchan atah in alhungsoh keiye,” atiuvin ahi.
And many resorted to him, and said, John performed no miracle: but all things that John spoke of this man were true.
42 Chuin chukom'a um mi tamtah ho chun Yeshua atahsan tauve.
And many believed on him there.
