< Job 40 >
1 Hichun Pakaiyin Job komma aseijin:
And Jehovah doth answer Job, and saith: —
2 Hatchungnungpa chu nakinelpi nom nah laijam? Pathen thutan dihlouna podohpa nahin, ahileh donbutna ding nanei nahlai em?
Is the striver with the Mighty instructed? The reprover of God, let him answer it.
3 Hichun Job in Pakai chu adonbut in,
And Job answereth Jehovah, and saith: —
4 Keima ima hilou kahi, adonbutna ding chu iti kaholdoh jou ding ham? Kakhut in kamuh kisip ing katin,
Lo, I have been vile, What do I return to Thee? My hand I have placed on my mouth.
5 Thu tamtah kaseidoh ahitan, seibe ding kanei tapoi.
Once I have spoken, and I answer not, And twice, and I add not.
6 Hiti chun Pakaiyin chimpei lah a kon in Job ahin donbut in,
And Jehovah answereth Job out of the whirlwind, and saith: —
7 Pasal phatah bangin nakong kigah in, keiman nangma doh ding thudoh themkhat kaneijin, chuleh nangin hiche ho chu nadonbut ding ahi.
Gird, I pray thee, as a man, thy loins, I ask thee, and cause thou Me to know.
8 Kathutan dihna hi tahsan louva nakoija, chule nangma dihna photchetna dinga kei themmo neichan joh ding ham?
Dost thou also make void My judgment? Dost thou condemn Me, That thou mayest be righteous?
9 Pathen banga thahat nahin, Pathen ogin banga nangin van nagin sah thei ding ham?
And an arm like God hast thou? And with a voice like Him dost thou thunder?
10 Aphai naloupina leh nagun chenan kivon in lang, ja naumna leh aming than nan kivon temin.
Put on, I pray thee, excellency and loftiness, Yea, honour and beauty put on.
11 Nalung hanna ngoh ding hol in lang, mikiletsah teho jouse chunga chuhen.
Scatter abroad the wrath of thine anger, And see every proud one, and make him low.
12 Mikiletsah techu namit hei chun jachat sah in lang, migiloute chu adin nauva chun chot phan.
See every proud one — humble him, And tread down the wicked in their place.
13 Leivui lah a chun vui in lang, amaho chu mithigam songkul'a hunk hum den tan.
Hide them in the dust together, Their faces bind in secret.
14 Chutia chu kei jengin jong kapachat ding nahi, ijeh inem itile nabangol thahat chun nahuhuhdoh ahitai.
And even I — I do praise thee, For thy right hand giveth salvation to thee.
15 Behemoth khu vetemin, nang kasem banga kasem ahin, bongchal bangin hampa ane e.
Lo, I pray thee, Behemoth, that I made with thee: Grass as an ox he eateth.
16 Akengphang athahat nale, a oipoh a aphe ho khu ven.
Lo, I pray thee, his power [is] in his loins, And his strength in the muscles of his belly.
17 Amei jong khu Cedar thing bangin atah in, akhel teni a aphe ho khu detchet a kipheh khomahi.
He doth bend his tail as a cedar, The sinews of his thighs are wrapped together,
18 Agu ho jong sum-eng long abangin atibah ho jong thihjol tobang ahi.
His bones [are] tubes of brass, His bones [are] as a bar of iron.
19 Pathen khutsem ho lah a vetkah theipen ahin, chuleh asempa bouvin agihsal thei ahi.
He [is] a beginning of the ways of God, His Maker bringeth nigh his sword;
20 Gam'a gamsa jouse lhatle namun hiche molsang hohin amaho dinga anneh phapen pen chu apeh nom u ahi.
For food do mountains bear for him, And all the beasts of the field play there.
21 Thambal pahcha phung noija chun akol jin, pengphung boh lah a akisel jin ahi.
Under shades he lieth down, In a secret place of reed and mire.
22 Vadung pang thingnem ho lah a pahcha phungho chu amadin lim in apange.
Cover him do shades, [with] their shadow, Cover him do willows of the brook.
23 Vadung twisoh in ama asunoh phah pon, Jordan vadung soh hen lang chup jongle alungkham deh poi.
Lo, a flood oppresseth — he doth not haste, He is confident though Jordan Doth come forth unto his mouth.
24 Koima chan amandoh joupoi, ahiloule anah avu a, thihkol abu peh a chuleh akaimang theilou ahi.
Before his eyes doth [one] take him, With snares doth [one] pierce the nose?
