< Job 37 >
1 Hicheng hohi kagel ji teng ka lungchang aphudot dot jeng jin, kasung a hin akithing thing jin ahi.
Indeed, my heart trembles at this; it is moved out of its place.
2 Pathen kamsung'a konna hung doh a ogin thong khu phaten ngai uvin.
Hear, oh, hear the noise of his voice, the sound that goes out from his mouth.
3 Van dung lhungin agin akitol in chuleh kolphe vah'in ningtin asalvah phan ahi.
He sends it out under the whole sky, and he sends out his lightning to the edges of the earth.
4 Chuti chun huipi gopi kitum gin in alal loupina ogin nasatah in ahung in thu asei teng jongle akituh tang deh poi.
A voice roars after it; he thunders with the voice of his majesty; he does not restrain the lightning bolts when his voice is heard.
5 Pathen Ogin chu van gin in aloupisah in athahat aloupina chu eigel phah hoi ahipoi.
God thunders marvelously with his voice; he does great things that we cannot comprehend.
6 Aman buhbang leisetna longlha din thu apejin, go jong leiset chunga longlha din thu apeji e.
For he says to the snow, 'Fall on the earth'; likewise to the rain shower, 'Become a great shower of rain.'
7 Chuteng leh mijousen anatoh u angan hiti chun athaneina chu ave jiuve.
He stops the hand of every man from working, so that all people whom he has made may see his deeds.
8 Gam'a gamsa ho akikhu khum un chuleh akosung uvah aum den ji tauve.
Then the beasts go into hiding and stay in their dens.
9 A indan sunga kon in huipi gopi ahungin chuleh hiche a kon chun huidap ahung nunge.
The storm comes from its chamber in the south and the cold from the scattering winds in the north.
10 Pathen hu haikhum chun buhbang lhang asosah in chuin twi chu atebep bep chun akan den sah jin ahi.
By the breath of God ice is given; the expanse of the waters is frozen like metal.
11 Meiho chu twi akhumdim jin chule kolphen avahsah ji'e.
Indeed, he weighs down the thick cloud with moisture; he scatters his lightning through the clouds.
12 Ama thusah a meilhang hohi kitol leleuva, leiset chunga hi aman thu apeh jouse aboljiu ahi.
He swirls the clouds around by his guidance, so that they may do whatever he commands them above the surface of the whole world.
13 Hicheng ho jouse hi mihem engbolna ham ahiloule tang theilou ngailutna vetsahna a abolji ahi.
He makes all of this happen; sometimes it happens for correction, sometimes for his land, and sometimes as acts of covenant faithfulness.
14 Job hiche hi phaten ngaijin, Pathen natoh thilbol kidang tah tah ho ngaito din khongaijin.
Listen to this, Job; stop and think about God's marvelous deeds.
15 Itobang tah a Pathen in huipi gopi athua anunsah a chule meilah a konna kolphe ahung vahdoh sah ji hi nahet em?
Do you know how God establishes the clouds and makes the lightning bolts to flash in them?
16 Akhut themna leh akidanna chamkim keija meilhang ho atolle le ji hi iti dan ham ti nahet doh jou ding ham?
Do you understand the floating of the clouds, the marvelous deeds of God, who is perfect in knowledge?
17 Nangin na-ul naponna nakitheh tengle lhanglam hui hung nung intin chule thil ijakai thipchet in aum jitai.
Do you understand how your garments become hot when the land is still because the wind comes from the south?
18 Sum-eng phatvet bangin van thamjolla konin asa chu akikhodoh sah jin ahi, hichu nangin nabol the idem?
Can you spread out the sky as he can— the sky, which is as strong as a mirror of cast metal?
19 Hijeh chun Pathen komma ipi kasei diu ham? Keihon imacha hetna kanei pouve.
Teach us what we should say to him, for we cannot lay out our arguments in order because of the darkness of our minds.
20 Pathen in akomma thu kasei nom hi eihet peh dem? Mihem te jengin jong thil ahetkhen theilou teng ule thu akisei thei diu ham?
Should he be told that I wish to speak with him? Would a person wish to be swallowed up?
21 Huijin meibolho amut theng soh tengleh vantham jol'a nisa khu avah behseh jeh in eihon ive thei ji pouve.
Now, people cannot look at the sun when it is bright in the sky after the wind has passed through and has cleared it of its clouds.
22 Pathen hi molsang a konna sana lal loupina a kijemma hung'ah ahin ama chu alal loupina leh ahoina jousea kijemma ahi.
Out of the north comes golden splendor— over God is fearsome majesty.
23 Hatchungnungpa thahat naho chu ei ngaito phah hoi hilou ahi. Ahijeng vang'in athudih in chuleh achonpha jinge. Aman eiho eisumang pouve.
As for the Almighty, we cannot find him! He is great in power; he does not oppress justice and abundant righteousness.
24 Datmo umtah in muntinna mihem ten ama aging uvin, miching ho jouse ajanau avetsah uve.
Therefore, people fear him. He does not pay any attention to those who are wise in their own minds.”
