< Job 36 >
1 Elihu in athusei ajom nalaijin:
And Elihu continued:
2 Thutah muchet sah ding kanei nahlai jeh in seibe kit nalai inge, ijeh inem itile Pathen thalhenga seiding kanei nalaije.
“Bear with me a little longer, and I will show you that there is more to be said on God’s behalf.
3 Keiman eisempa chonphatna thu giltah a nelna kapeh ding ahi.
I get my knowledge from afar, and I will ascribe justice to my Maker.
4 Keima hetna bukim nei kahi jeh in thutah tailou thudang imacha keiman kaseipoi.
For truly my words are free of falsehood; one perfect in knowledge is with you.
5 Pathen chu hatchungnung pa ahin, ahinlah aman koima isah louvin abolpoi. Ama chu thanei naleh thil hetkhen themna akopto a hatchungnung pa ahi.
Indeed, God is mighty, but He despises no one; He is mighty in strength of understanding.
6 Aman migilou ahinghoi jipon, ahinlah suhgentheija umho chu them achan ji'e.
He does not keep the wicked alive, but He grants justice to the afflicted.
7 Aman nolna bei miho a konin amit ahei mang ngaipoi, ahinlah laltouna a leng ho toh atoukhom sah jin chuleh aimatih channa din achoisang ji'e.
He does not take His eyes off the righteous, but He enthrones them with kings and exalts them forever.
8 Thihkol a ana kihen hihen lang chuleh gentheina a chu kha ana hijong leu,
And if men are bound with chains, caught in cords of affliction,
9 Aman akiletsah nau amuchet sah jin, chuleh achonset nau avetsah ji'e.
then He tells them their deeds and how arrogantly they have transgressed.
10 Alungthim u alahmang peh in, chule thilse a konna akilehei nadiu thupeh apejin ahi.
He opens their ears to correction and commands that they turn from iniquity.
11 Amahon thu ngaiju hen, chuleh athusei ngaipeh ule ahinkho lhum kei uva khantouna jousea phatthei kiboh diu ahi.
If they obey and serve Him, then they end their days in prosperity and their years in happiness.
12 Ahinlah athusei ngai ding anoplou uleh amaho chemjam a kithat ding ahin, chuleh hetna lhahsam jeh a thidiu ahi.
But if they do not obey, then they perish by the sword and die without knowledge.
13 Ijeh inem itile Pathen neiloute chu lunghan nan adimset un, aman a engbol teng u jongle nei kithopiuvin tia kou ding chu anom ji pouve.
The godless in heart harbor resentment; even when He binds them, they do not cry for help.
14 Ahinkhou chonchatvai na a aman jou nung uleh khangdong cha chan athijiuvin ahi.
They die in their youth, among the male shrine prostitutes.
15 Ahinlah agenthei thoh jeh u chun aman ahuhdoh jiuvin ahi. Ijeh inem itile agenthei nauva kon thungaije ahiljin ahi.
God rescues the afflicted by their affliction and opens their ears in oppression.
16 Job Pathen in vangsetna ho a konin napui doh in lungnat naho a konin ongthol tah in nahoijin, nadokhang chungah anpha pha nalui doh peh e.
Indeed, He drew you from the jaws of distress to a spacious and broad place, to a table full of richness.
17 Ahinlah nangin Pathen neiloute thu kitan ding kichat nan nadim in, lungkham hih in thutanna leh thudih'a thutanna chu machal jing ding ahi.
But now you are laden with the judgment due the wicked; judgment and justice have seized you.
18 Ahin kivephan, achuti louleh nei le gou vin nalhem lha khantin nehguh kilah jeh in nang leh nang chonse hih in.
Be careful that no one lures you with riches; do not let a large bribe lead you astray.
19 Nanei leh nagou ahiloule thahattah'a nakihabol naho chun lung gentheina jouse a konna nahoidoh jou ding hinam?
Can your wealth or all your mighty effort keep you from distress?
20 Jan hunglhun kal ngahlel hih in, ijeh inem itile hichu mihem te kisuhmang nading jan ahibouve.
Do not long for the night, when people vanish from their homes.
21 Kiging phan thilse a konin kileheijin, chonsetna hinkho a konna nahoidoh nadinga Pathen in hiche gentheina hohi ahin lhunsah ahi.
Be careful not to turn to iniquity, for this you have preferred to affliction.
22 Ven Pathen hi thahat chungnung ahin ama tobang mihil thei ding koi um'em?
Behold, God is exalted in His power. Who is a teacher like Him?
23 Koima chan hichehi nabol ding ahi atitheipon, ahilouleh nabolkhel tai tia seithei ding chu,
Who has appointed His way for Him, or told Him, ‘You have done wrong’?
24 Hiche ho khel chun athil bolthei thahatna chu achoian un, vahchoina la ho asauve.
Remember to magnify His work, which men have praised in song.
25 Gamla tah ahijeng vang'in hiche ho chu mijousen amucheh uve.
All mankind has seen it; men behold it from afar.
26 Ven Pathen hi eihon ihet sang uvin aloupi jon amakum ho chu sim jou hilou ahi.
Indeed, God is great—beyond our knowledge; the number of His years is unsearchable.
27 Aman twi chu ahu in achop touvin chuleh chuti chun alhitheng in go asosah kit e.
For He draws up drops of water which distill the rain from the mist,
28 Meilah a konin go ahin sung lhan, chuleh mi jousen aphatchom pi ji'e.
which the clouds pour out and shower abundantly on mankind.
29 Meilom hung kijel ji khu kon ahet theija chule vanna vanging kithong jeju a akitol lele khu kon ahetdoh jou ding ham?
Furthermore, who can understand how the clouds spread out, how the thunder roars from His pavilion?
30 Ven ama kimvel a kolphe khu iti avahsah ji a, chule twikhanglen to geija avahsah khu iti ham?
See how He scatters His lightning around Him and covers the depths of the sea.
31 Hiche athahat athil boltheina ho a hi mihem te avah khang ji a nehle chah neng jeng junga apeh ji ahi.
For by these He judges the nations and provides food in abundance.
32 Aman akhut in keh chang aki choijin chuleh adoina laitah a chudin aseplha jin ahi.
He fills His hands with lightning and commands it to strike its mark.
33 Hiche van gin chun ahina aphondoh a huipi gopi chun alunghan alungsatna chu aphondoh ahi.
The thunder declares His presence; even the cattle regard the rising storm.
